When I go to purchase the student and teachers package, I am on the Australian site and I choose Australian dollars, but when I go to fill in all my details it comes back to the US site, no Australian school show up and i can only purchase in US dollars

Where's The CS6 Complimentary Upgrade for The Student and Teacher Editions?

I bought the student and teacher edition of CS5.5 Design Premium a couple of weeks ago and got the email telling me how to get my complimentary upgrade to cs6 a few days ago. When I went on to adobe.com to look up the pricing for the student and teacher editions of the cs6 programs, there is no upgrade option (the only price shown says "Full from 449.00"). When I looked up pricing for the non-student and teacher editions, the upgrade option is there.
Are the upgrades for Student and Teacher Editions not available yet? Is there anybody else who bought the Student and Teacher Editions having this issue, or is it just me?

I talked with someone from Adobe earlier and they told me that I cant upgrade to another student and teacher edition but I can upgrade to a retail version still at no cost. They also sent me a link to a page telling me more about how to claim the upgrade, and the page mentions a "coupon code" that I have to enter during checkout.

The email didnt include a coupon code, and I followed the steps but the price remains at the regular upgrade price. I read on the "how to claim" page the associate showed me that I would be getting a code no later than May 31st. Do you think this email was maybe informing me that I am eligible for an upgrade and that they would send me a coupon code at a later date?

What is included in the Student and Teacher Edition? I launched Lightroom 5 and received a notice of updates. When follow the link to the "update" I get to links that look like "upgrade" for a fee. I want to know if the three functions in the subject are updates or are they upgrades for a fee?

Trying to determine if a student and teacher who are homeschooling qualify for the student and teacher rate.

I believe the school/institution has to be one approved by Adobe. See the following page for some basic criteria:

How can I locate my serial number for the Student and Teacher Edition

All I am trying to do right now is to obtain the serial number for my Student and Teacher (Academic) Edition <removed by moderator>, but I wanted to use my personal (home) e-mail address since this purchase is to be installed on my home computer. The validation process seems to require my work e-mail address or a work id with embossed date (ours had no date and my id is at work). The e-mail prompt indicates that all e-mail correspondence will go to the address I enter so if there is e-mail regarding this installation, on my home computer at my home e-mail address, any such e-mail instructions would then go to my work e-mail address. So how do I obtain my serial number?

I bought a one year of CC (Student and teacher) and installed Photoshop CC (2014) but it says that this version is only a trial. I thought the newest Photoshop is included in the Student and Teacher version?

I am having this problem too, I have installed photoshop (and dreamweaver) however upon opening it asked me to sign in which i do, it then asks me to either start the 30 day trial or 'license this software' and upon clicking to license the software it asks for a serial number. I have looked around adobes help pages and it states that memberships or subscriptions do not require one!

I currently have the cloud but the previous plan I purchased does not allow automatic updates, therefore I still have CS6, I am hoping with purchasing a new plan it will automatically be able to update the programs when they need to be updated.

There are updates and upgrades.
The Cloud app will automatically apply minor updates.
Upgrades e.g. CC to CC 2014 have to be separately installed by the user whenever you are ready to install the major version upgrade.

Hi, I'm from Australia. I want to purchase a Student and Teacher edition. I study at... https://www.open.edu.au currently. I have a student card from them that I could use for verification, but I'm not sure if they would be eligable. See, they are called "Open Universitites" but they send you to other unis to do the work with... e.g. in my case, Griffith University (which I know Griffith would most likely be okay, but I don't have a proper ID from them).
Yes, they do have courses longer than 2 years. I'm just not sure if I can use Open Uni as proof, or if I would have to hunt down some document to show from Griffith.
If anyone has any clue to this, help would be appreciated. If it is out of the scope of your expertise, coud you at least direct me to an email adress or something from adobe I can send my question to? Everytime I try to find a form of contact with them offically, the criteria of my question doesn't quite fit, so I'm confused.

Ich bin deutscher Student und werde bald von einem Bildungstrip aus England zurückkehren. Dabei hätte ich die Möglichkeit vor meiner Abreise eine der Student and Teacher Editionen von Adobe mitzunehmen, die aufgrund des schwächelnden Pfundkurses noch günstiger als zu Hause sind.
Da die Registrierung und der Bildungsnachweis erst nach dem Kauf erfolgen muss, wollte ich fragen, ob eine in England gekaufte Version davon in Deutschland aktiviert werden kann oder ob das völlig unabhängig vom Land geschieht, in dem sie gekauft wurde.

------I think the answer lies in the Educational Store requirements. Before a purchase can be approved it must be cleared that you are a registered student or teacher at a school, college, or university for the given semester or trimester that you are purchasing the software. As far as I know there is a limitation on the amount of products you can purchase within one year (ein Jahr) and you would best be suited to place an order over the phone with Adobe Customer Support. Student and teacher design standard installation issues for photoshop

I recently purchased a STUDENT AND TEACHER LICENSING package: ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE 5.5 DESIGN STANDARD. I installed everything and everything opens and works except Photoshop. When I try to open it it says, "Some of the application cxomponents are missing from the Application directory, please reinstall the application."
I have reinstalled it twice now but there is no change. Why is this happening? How can I fix it? I just paid ~250 and I need Photoshop. Illustrator and InDesign are working just fine. Please help.

You have permission issues on some of the plug-ins and the system libraries they are calling. A classic. Check file permissions on your plug-ins folder, especially on the performance extension (MMX plug-in and that)...

"Student and Teacher Edition" vs. "Student and Teacher Licensing"?

My university participates in the "Student and Teacher Licensing" program, where the university gets volume discounts on Adobe products and the students are able to pick up software for below the standard "Student and Teacher Edition" prices. The university sells both versions. I was hoping someone could help clarify two things:
1) Is there any difference, to the end user, between these two versions of the same software? From what I have read on the Adobe website, they should be identical, aside from how the end-user authenticates/activates the software.
2) My primary concern is whether I can use the "Student and Teacher Licensing" version for commercial use (I don't want to be restricted regarding being able to sell my photos processed in Photoshop). It is stated in the "Student and Teacher Edition" FAQ that you *can* use that version for commercial purposes (FAQ here), however the documentation for the "Licensing" option is not as clear on this issue (PDF here, page 5 for FAQ).
Can anyone clarify for me if there actually is any distinction between these two licensing methods, or if they actually are identical to the end-user aside from activation method and cost?

You can use student and teacher edition for profit it is licensed just the same as commercial. I can't find a link for the student version eula anywhere but I know I've read before from adobe that you can.

No, that just means you can't install it on organization, educational , commercial or government computers. only your personal computer.
