Trouble resizing Photoshop CS6 Image
Hello. I created a logo in Photoshop CS6 (4500 x 4500 pixels) and need to now shrink it so that it may be posted on a web page. I need to shrink the image to: 50 x 50, 75 x 75 and 100 x 100 pixels. I have tried to resize the image, but have not had much success as the images always come out highly pixelized with white space around it. Any helpful information would gladly be appreciated.

Those sizes are more like ICON size then Web size. Are your logo layers shapes and text in your PSD file so they will all resize well to any size? It also sound like you want a transparent background you need to save as file type PNG if you want good color and transparency. Down Sizing should not pixilate however you may well loose detail downsizing that much and also get sharpening artifacts if you using Bicubic Sharper and the original image is sharp and not vectors.

Having trouble with Photoshop cs6. Brushes that i have downloaded from 3rd party websites were deleted from Photoshop after months of use. Help with Photoshop Cs6 Image size
I am using Photoshop Cs6 on a MacBook Pro with retina display. I'm working on an image that is 72 dpi and 1000 pixels wide by 300 pixels tall. When I hook my laptop up to my external monitor, the image is a nice size. However, when I disconnect it and look at it on my laptop it is way to small. I have to zoom in on the image on my laptop to see the detail and then the graphics are distorted. Can you please help me?

I just installed photoshop cs6 on a third computer and I am having trouble opening it. Do I need to uninstall it from one of the other computers?

you are getting this message as the serial is of an upgrade version not a complete product , if you have any previous product serial number from the drop down menu , then do enter it , if not then please contact customer support for unlocking it , (the previous version serial number should be also a retail product)

Trouble installing Photoshop CS6 on Macbook
I have photoshop cs6 installed on my desktop which is a PC. I also want to install it on my macbook but it is saying my serial number is invalid. I typed it in numerous times and it will not work. Help???
It's not possible. Standalone licenses are platform specific. You need a second license for your Mac or use Creative Cloud.

Trouble Installing Photoshop CS6
I have not had any success with installing Photoshop CS6 trial. I have probably tried installing it a dozen times. I've spent the last two nights either waiting for tech support or getting poor suggestions from them on how to fix my problem. I have a new Dell windows 8 PC and yet I get between 50 and 100 errors codes after the installation takes place. I've tried many different online suggestions and tech support offers a lot of the same and they never are willing to stick around to see if their suggestions work. They say comeback if it doesn't work. The latest suggestion was to simply change the name of the OOBE folder to OOBE.old. Gee that didn't work, what a surprise. It shouldn't be this difficult to install some software. Each time I try to install I first run adobe cleaner, so I can start with a clean slate. PLEASE HELP!!!

System Requirements -
I found several related articles, but none of them could solve my problem. I got a new computer with Windows 8 on it, and I was going to install Photoshop CS6 on it, but then I got this dialogue.
Restarting the machine doesn't do anything; as the dialogue will just reappear. I had this same problem with my last computer too a year ago, but I eventally chose to ignore it then. I was able to install Photoshop successfully but there were features that didn't behave the way they were suppose to. I took record that the layers did not work independently and that the fill tool acted glitchy. When I ignored the dialogue while trying to install Illustrator and InDesign CS6, there were features that do not behave the same with them as well.
Now I really don't want to just ignore the installer this time around. I got a new computer, and I really want everything to work out. I really think that this dialogue is indicating some type of error, and I really want to work it out before I install anything. I don't want to go through the same issues again.Photoshop has been installed. I'm thinking that there has been a different problem with my previous computer. Before, the dialogue kept popping up. Right now, it looks like everything is working. There was a very long reboot that worried me, but I think it may have been a Windows problem; as someone else with Windows 8 went through the same thing. Thank you.

Trouble Installing Photoshop CS6 on a PC Laptop
I have Photoshop CS6, and I am trying to install it onto my new PC laptop. It has already started installing, but it doesn't seem like it is going to finish. It has been stuck at 2% for about 30 minutes and says that it will take another 2000 minutes and continues to get higher. It says it is "currently installing Microsoft VC80_CRT_x86" Earlier it seemed stuck doing the same thing, so I ended everything and tried again. How do I fix this, or is there something wrong with the disk?

There is nothing wrong with your disks, something is simply blocking the install.

I bought Photoshop CS6 extended and am trying to install it on my Mac OSX Lion v. 10.7.4 and I keep coming up with the install error of:

Having trouble downloading photoshop CS6 trial
I have a Macbook Pro and I am trying to download the Photoshop CS6 trial and the Flash CS6 trial to my computer, since the CC versions are not compatible with my system. So I went to this link, which I saw mentioned a few times in the Adobe forums:

I follow all the instructions but when I go to download the file, the download bar on the file doesn't move. It's like it's stuck at 1% and won't download any further. Am I doing something wrong? Trouble with photoshop cs6 (global override) shortcuts

at work my boss recently upgraded my cs5.5 (mac, mountain lion) to cs6, and deleted the cs5.5 version of the program before testing cs6, afterward we found that cs6 failed to migrate presets, and indesign failed to open at all, after a lengthy call to support and many attempted reinstalls we were told that the only workaround for the problem was to create a NEW USER account on the mac, then go into that new user account (effectively starting afresh) and reinstalling there, which worked.
now, my problem is that in cs5.5, i had many shortcuts which overrode the f1 - f12 system keys, assigned to actions in photoshop. (ie shift f3 would flatten and convert to cmyk)
when i loaded the action files in to the new installed psd cs6 (on the new user account side of my computer) suddenly the shortcuts would no longer work, and would default back to say, hitting some combination with the f key and it showing the desktop or some other system function instead of the photoshop action assigned to it.
i have tried going to system preferences - keyboard and turning off ALL keyboard shortcuts to just about every other program, and i can't see anything about it in photoshop preferences either that would allow psd to override global shortcut keys, but i remember I set this up years ago when i got a new machine, and im sure it was something simple in either system prefs or photoshop prefs that i simply checked on or off that allowed psd to override....but i have no idea where!
ive logged back onto the 'old' user account and tried to check out the difference between shortcuts, but i just can't see anything different between the two setups but something is obviously still not letting psd do its thing...

machine specs, such as total installed RAM, scratch file HDs, total available HD space, video card specs, including total VRAM installed,
what troubleshooting steps you have taken so far,
what error message(s) you receive,
if having issues opening raw files also the exact camera make and model that generated them,
if you're having printing issues, indicate the exact make and model of your printer, paper size, image dimensions in pixels (so many pixels wide by so many pixels high). if going through a RIP, specify that too.

Photoshop CS6- Image disappearing
I am running a windows Vista 32Bit software. I just decide to finally use my cs6 photoshop and when i try to open an image in photoshop the board remainds blank but the layer panel says there is an image and shows a preview of the image like it normally does in the layer panel. Everything else works fine but the image won't show at all.
any suggest would be wonderfulYou loose a bit, with that setting, so the ultimate would be to do, as suggested in Reply # 1 - update your video card's/chip's driver to the latest version.
What is the make and model of your video card/chip?
What is the version and date of the installed driver?
What does the mfgr's. Web site show for the latest driver, for your model card, and your OS?

Anyone having trouble with Photoshop CS6 with Intuos3?
I've been using CS6 since just after the Beta was released and I like many of the new features. I would probably love the software if not for one huge problem I'm having... no pressure sensitivity with my Intuos3.
My Intuos3 works fine with CS2 and CS3 but not with CS6. I even unistalled all versions of Photoshop except for CS6 in case there was some sort of conflict going on but still no pressure sensitivity. Reinstalled CS3 and it works fine in that application, and still not in CS6.
Does anyone else have this issue? I believe it must be a CS6 issue and not an Intuos3 issue for the fact that my tablet works just fine with previous versions of Photoshop.No, Wacom tablets are working fine for most people.
Those who've had trouble found that updating the driver or reinstalling the driver solved the problem.
If you continue to have trouble, you probably want to contact Wacom and have them help you troubleshoot the driver. -
