Trouble seeing ESB systems on different servers in JDev

Hi, I'm having some trouble when developing an ESB process for against two environments.
I have two servers, one my localhost and the other a shared development server (dev3), that I'm doing development on through the ESB. I have options to register ESB processes against both of them, but when I'm trying to develop and set up routing services I only see what's available on localhost.
For example, I've got a routing service named CustomerRs and I'm trying to pick a target service operation under routing rules. When I bring up the "Browse Target Service Operation" window, I only see "Services in Project" and "Services at ESB Server Connection: LocalServerConnection." Shouldn't I see a "dev3ServerConnection?"

I have also encountered the same issue in the past, which doesn't display the remote SOA Server Connection.
Its basically a issue when you try to connect to a remote Server from local JDev.
The workaround I found was to just re-create the remote connection->test->success
Then, connect using the JDev.

  • Trouble seeing my website in different browsers

How can I set my iWeb site looks right in different browsers? I can't find a great solution for that. I prefer the "liquid" or "fluid" layout. If it is possible. Thanks

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Paste the URL of your site into this site Browsershots and select the browsers that you'd like to see how the render the site. They are static views of how the site will be rendered but will give you a good idea. Don't know what you mean by liquid/fluid. Does that mean not-static?

  • BPEL and ESB in different Servers

    Hi ,
What is the advantage of having BPEL PM and ESB installed in different servers ?

In my knowledge it has it own merits and demerits
IF (BPEL and ESB) installed in dfferent OC4Js (JVMs)
    Merits
    1) Individual JVM for each component means more memory allocation and support from JVM
    2) More number of processes can be deployed.
    DeMerits
    1) ESB and BPEL communication can happen via SOAP over HTTP only whereas had these been deployed in the same JVM (oc4j) it can do native communication.

  • ESB and BPEL in different servers

    Hi ,
Is there any performance based advantage when we have BPEL and ESB in different servers ?

If you seperate them, it will have impacht on the perfromance. Services are called over the network, assuming BPEL and ESB are on different servers. Otherwise they can call each other via native binding if ESB and BPEL are in the server and container.

  • Logical systems assignment when SRM and ECC are on 2 different servers

    Hi SRM guru's,
What is the standard practice for Logical system creation and assignment when  ECC and SRM are on 2 different servers.
I could not able to find which i created a logical system  in SRM server which i created in ECC
    Same for the ECC also.
how do i assign logical system of SRM to ECC
    vice versa.
    your prompt response is appreciated.
    Regards

    Hi Sai,
Logical System Naming/Creation procedure is not dependent on the servers but it is just a logical representation of a system.
As you are trying to name logical systems for ECC & SRM, please follow the below procedure which is usually recommeded by SAP and followed.
    Logical System : <SID>CLNT<Client Number>
For Example if you have a client 300 in system DE0 (also called SID), the logical system name will be DE0CLNT300. And it will be same for SRM system.
You can refer the below document which eplains the creation of logical system and RFC destinations etc
    http://help.sap.com/printdocu/core/Print46c/en/data/pdf/CABFAALEQS/CABFAALEQS.pdf
Note: Only while configuring the RFC Destination, the servers will play a crucial role.

  • I do not see where to enter IP addresses in the Open VPN setup. Also, how can I set it up so that I can choose different servers in the same way as I can currently choose them with my VPN app but for PPTP?

I think I have it working on my iPhone 5. But, I do not see how I can control the exit point that I would like for the VPN. Are all the exit points shown in the VPN setting now going to work with Open VPN, or do they remain PPTP? If I am reading correctly, they look like they remain PPTP. If I cannot control the exit point for open VPN, which exit point is the default in the profile you provided me?I note that Open VPN Connect does not work with any of the new 64 bit devices like the iPhone 5S, the iPad Air, and the new iPad MIni. Is there any chance that you guys will come up with an update for your app so that open VPN can be made to work on all iOS devices? That would be nice, particularly if the Open VPN Connect app does not give me a choice of exit points. Thanks,
I do not see where to enter IP addresses in the Open VPN setup. Also, how can I set it up so that I can choose different servers in the same way as I can currently choose them with my VPN app but for PPTP?
Just a quick note to tell you that Open VPN has updated their app so that it is compatible with 64 bit ARM devices like the iPhone 5S, the iPad Air, and the iPad Mini Retina. That does not resolve the problem of how to easily choose among the various possibilities for the exit server. We need to find an easy way to choose.

Thank you for trying the new Firefox. I'm sorry that you’re unhappy with the new design.
I understand your frustration and surprise at the removal of these features but I can't undo these changes. I'm just a support volunteer and I do not work for Mozilla. But you can send any feedback about these changes to http://input.mozilla.org/feedback. Firefox developers collect data submitted through there then present it at the weekly Firefox meeting
I recommend you try to adjust to 29 and see if you can't make it work for you before you downgrade to a less secure and soon outdated version of Firefox.
Here are a few suggestions for restoring the old design. I hope you’ll find one that works for you:
*Use the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/ Classic Theme Restorer] to bring back the old design. Learn more here: [[How to make the new Firefox look like the old Firefox]]
*Use the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/the-addon-bar/ Add-on Bar Restored] to bring back the add-on bar. Learn more here: [[What happened to the Add-on Bar?]]

  • Significance of ESB Systems and Groups

    Hi,
Other than organizing things better what are the true functionalities of ESB Systems and Groups? Having services in seperate systems/groups enables me to deploy them on seperate ESB Instances? Are there any performance benefits by limiting number of services in a System/Group?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Rajesh

ESB systems are the lowest level unit of scalability (just made that up). You can apply services in a group to different clusters/rt servers and define different async jms topics to route the message through. So anything in an ESB can be segmented to scale up as needed.

  • R/3 Dialog program - read data from BW table (2 different servers)

I have this R/3 dialog program that need to pull data from one of the BW table for data validation Apparently, R/3 and BW are setting on 2 different servers.
Is this something possible? or is that any other approach that can give me the same result?
Please give your exper advice. TQ.

    Hi
    No but it's very easy.
The RFC fm is a normal function where the attribute Remote-enable module is setted.
When a program call a RFC function module, this has to exist in the called system (so it's not necessary there's in calling system too).
The data has to be transfered by inteface, so your fm has to have importing/exporting parameter in order to select the data you need to check.
A rfc has to be called in this way:
    CALL FUNCTION <FUNCTION> DESTINATION <DEST>
      EXPORTING
      IMPORTING
      tables
    EXCEPTIONS
<DEST> is BW destination, you can find it by trx SM59
Try to see the standard fm RFC_READ_TABLE, it's a RFC function module to read a table.

  • Trouble with booting system after upgrade udev= systemd

    Hi everybody,
I have been trouble with my system since last upgrade (udev => systemd)
My issue is something like this: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1106157 but advice from this discussion doesn't work.
When system booting, *immediately* (very fast, too fast) display login screen after start parsing hook [udev]
Of course, i can't login - type username and i have redraw screen again on all /dev/tty* - i have no chance to type password.
Many invalid logins suspend init for 5 minutes and allow me see display error due stop redraw screen - libpam.so.0 cannot find.
I suspect that, partitions aren't mount (this fast login screen doesn't have even hostname). I have a 4 discs, with many partitions - mounting
this take a some time (+- 5 secs).
In rescuecd, i can mount all partitions and chroot. In chroot all works fine - /bin/login (i was checked authorization on all users),
paths and pams are ok. Of course i try ,,default rescue trick'': `pacman -Suy linux udev mkinitcpio` and 'mkinitcpio -p linux' on rescuecd
but nothing it's changed after reboot. I checking grub config, and unpack and check initramfs-linux.img - all ok.
In my mkinitcpio.conf ofcourse i have MODULES="ext3" (for my filesystems).
    Please help.

This may or may not be related... but I saw this message just now during an upgrade:

to /etc/mkinitcpio.conf and regenerate your images before rebooting
And am wondering what the message means by if /usr is on a separate partition - separate partition to what?  /boot? / ?
I have my /usr partition in the same partition as /  (but /boot is in a different partition)
Logic tells me I'm safe (haven't rebooted yet), as / is "master", and anything else is a separate partition, and I have /usr on the same partition as /.
Do you guys have separate /usr and/or /boot partitions?  As stated in first sentence this may not be related, but looks important...
It means separate from /. So yes, you're right, you are "safe" from having to do anything with this message on your system.
And to the other people on this thread: make sure you do have all your packages uniformly updated, including any pam-related AUR or ABS-build packages. libpam and the pam module directory (.../lib/security) were moved from /lib to /usr/lib a little while back, so make sure that anything that cares about where these may be have been updated so they aren't confused by this move.

  • Setting mail with Cox (or other services with different servers for pop and smtp)

My Cox mail account uses different servers for pop and smtp (my personal ISP 1&1 does too).
The mail applet on my Blackberry Curve 8330 with Verizon does not allow to define different servers for pop and smtp, and further, for SSL smtp mail, the port is fixed at 995 and cannot be changed, while Cox (and 1&1) want to use 587 or something like that.
As a result, I can only receive mail with these services.
I also have yahoo mail, which works fine, so I can send mail with it and it is not a life-and-death situation, but I would like to be able to just reply to email sent to my Cox address.
I called Verizon and they said BlackBerry provides the mail access through their servers and the applet, so there is nothing they can do.
Is there a way to set it such that I can not only receive but also send mail through either of these services?
    Thanks in advance,
    Didier
PS: Other than that, the Curve on Verizon rocks!!! so much better down here than AT&T it's not even funny.

OK, thank you for the input.
The problem I have with this solution is like the one I have now using yahoo.
    There are 2 problems:
    1) mailing lists want the mail to come from the account that is subscribed, so if the cox account is subscribed, I can't contribute from the blackberry, and if the blackberry account is subscribed, I don't get my mail in Outlook. Neither is good for me.
    2) people who send me mail to the Cox account and get replies from me from the blackberry continue responding to the account that can send from the blackberry (not Cox), and from that point on I do not have that mail on the computer.
The issue of having two copies is no big deal, I just delete the mail I do not need. I would rather have two than none.
Really, Blackberry should modify the email service so that they directly support mail systems like those of Cox and 1&1. I am sure there are others. They should also allow the use of another port for SSL than 995. I have not seen anyone using 995 for SSL.
Until recently, I had a BB provided by my employer, and we had a BES, and that worked really well. I would like to emulate as much of that functionality as possible without having to pay somebody another $10 or $20 a month just for the priviledge of having an account on a private BES server.
Anyway, thanks for the exchange and suggestions.

Is there any way we can use these system ids as these are uni

    Hi
U can check the system variable SY-SYSID, here u can find the Server ID:
    IF SY-SYSID = 'DE1' OR SY-SYSID = 'ME1'.

Is this error just for this message, or all messages?
Is the xml valid against the payload. You will need to use a tool like XML spy to check.
Are you able to see the response coming back, if so does it conform to the response schema.
    cheers

  • Sol10 u8 installed on a ZFS Root File System have different swap needs?

Does Sol10 u8 installed on a ZFS Root File System have different swap needs/processes?
    Information:
I've installed Solaris 10 (10/09 s10s_u8wos_08a SPARC, Assembled 16 September 2009) on a half dozen servers and every one of them no longer mount swap at boot.
The install program commented out the old swap entry and created this one:
    # grep swap /etc/vfstab
    swap - /tmp tmpfs - yes -
Everything works like a champ. I didn't discover the issue until I tried to install some patches and the install failed. It didn't fail because of lack of swap - it refused to run because it found "No swap devices configured".
    Here are the symptoms:
    # swap -s
    total: 183216k bytes allocated + 23832k reserved = 207048k used, 13600032k available
    # swap -l
    No swap devices configured
    # mount | grep swap
    /etc/svc/volatile on swap read/write/setuid/devices/xattr/dev=5ac0001 on Mon Apr 19 08:06:45 2010
    /tmp on swap read/write/setuid/devices/xattr/dev=5ac0002 on Mon Apr 19 08:07:40 2010
    /var/run on swap read/write/setuid/devices/xattr/dev=5ac0003 on Mon Apr 19 08:07:40 2010

    Hi Nitabills,
I assume that you create a zfs entry for swap with the commande zfs create -V $size
did you launch the command :
    swap -a /dev/zvol/dsdk/$ZPOOL/swap
Try this entry below in the vfstab :
    /dev/zvol/dsdk/$ZPOOL/swap - - swap - no -

  • Ale / Idoc between two different servers

    Hi All,
In my scenario i am working on two different servers in which distribution of idoc is carrying out.
(Before this i have worked on same server scenarios with different clients.)
But present scenario i am working with two diferent servers,
    like,
i am having 100 client in server A (sender system) and 700 client in server B(receiver system),
i have created all the basic steps like logical systems in both systems,
Assign logical systems to clients in consecutive servers,
    RFC's and ports.
while creating message type under model view in server A client 100(sender system ) i can find only 100 client's logical system name, i cannot find the 700 clients logical system name.
due to both clients are in different ip address , does we need to transfer the logical system assign ment transport request to other client.
    regards,
    Mohd.

    Hello abdul  ,
When you configure a logical system for example the same system with a different client (700) it should be configured in the source system (Client 100).
In this way when you can send the relevant IDOCs via the ALE according the model view (BD64) ,the source system (100) knows that the target is the  system with the client 700 .
(There is a generic RFC in the background process : INBOUND_IDOC_PROCESS).
    Sender :  system_100
    Receiver:system_700
    Message type : MATMAS
Also in order to accept the relevant Idocs in the system with client 700,you must configure a partner profile that will contain in inbound parameters the relevant message type (MATMAS).
I hope it is more understood .
    Thank you,
    Boaz
