Trouble setting email account (webmail) Nokia E71

Hello,
I just bought my NOKIA E71 and I am having trouble setting up my email account. I am using webmail. But I don't know what's the server name?
webmail.rball.com is the address when I login...
What should I do?

I did that they said the incoming and outgoing server name is:
webmail.rball.com
Which I thought it was but my Nokia doesnt seem to accept it.
This is the order it comes in:
"add email"
"add password"
"Username" It automatically copies my email adress
Then it wants me to choose between POP3 or IMAP4?
If I choose POP3:
"Server for Incoming email"
Then "security"
SSL/TLS
Start TLS
nothing
Server for outgoing email
Then "security"
SSL/TLS
Start TLS
nothing
and then port 453 or something?
It's crazy hard
When I try to open the email it doesn't work!

How do I remove an OWA email account from my E71

I need to work out how to remove a OWA email account from my E71. I have seen various replies for removing email account but not for OWA.
I have already looked in Installations --> Emailon3 --> but the account I want to delete is not listed there.
Have also tried Communic. --> Messaging --> Options --> Settings --> E-mail --> Options --> Delete but the delete option is not there.
I need to remove the account because I changed my account password at work and then was unable to update the password in the phone, I had to install the account a second time to get it working again. Any suggestions for avoiding this in the future also gratefully received!

In the Messaging application, it seems from your description that you didn't go deep enough: Options > Settings > E-mail > Mailboxes.
There choose/select/highlight the mailbox you wish to delete and hit 'C' (or Options > Delete).

Removing email accounts on my e71

Hi,
I had purchased my e71 a month ago and loving it. Its been so productive with its features for budget.
However i had hit a snag. While fiddling with my Mob i had ended up setting up numerous email accounts on my Nokia device. Now i'm unable to remove or delete them.
so now i have in my messaging inbox various folders apart from the inbox, draft,sent, outbox, delivery reports folders, i have additional folders like gmail, ovi, hotmail and so on...
Could somebody please tell how i can remove or delete the internet email accounts i set up... i've tried everything i can but unable to remove them.

Click Menu - Email - Settings -
Then highlight the mail account you want removed and then click on options - Remove mailbox.

IPCU setting email accounts

Hi community,
I treid to make some configuration profiles with the IPCU with several email accounts in it.
But I got some problems deploying them. They installe fine on the device with out error but the accounts are missing the SMTP settings. Also if I try to set up an account with alias mail addresses (multiple email addresses separated by a comma in the email address field, which works fine when setting up manually) does not work out correctly... At first when selecting th from address in a new email I see all the configured addresse in one selection still seperated, when I try so send the mail the app crashes. After a restart of the app the addressen then are separated. Very strange...
Anyone else expiriencing such problems?

Trouble connecting email account

Purchased a MacBook Pro with retina display today but can't connect to my email account. Have run through the process as requested several times but no success. Working fine on ipad and iPhone. Any ideas what to do next?

Have now managed to connect to gmail account but still not hotmail.

Troubles streaming video with browser Nokia E71

Hi All,
I m new with nokia E71. I have problem when i want to see streaming video, youtube or anything else. The video stop after one or two minutes. I think it comes from flash lite that uses RAM with limation. Do you have any soluion ?

Incoming is imap.mail.me.com. Outgoing is smtp.mail.me.com (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4864). But if you're setting up iCloud mail on OS X Lion or higher, you go to Settings>iCloud and check Mail. This will add the account with the proper settings.

Trouble syncing email account

My mac mail works fine with my iphone. My other email is through my university and I cannot get it to sync...it says something about a POP or IMAP account? Does anyone know how to set it up? I do not even know what the POP or IMAP is..the mail account is through Microsoft outlook for the university and is an .edu. What should I set it up as? Thanks!

Trouble Setting Up Accounts

I have a Mac Mini OS X Server with a few users set up on it and AFP, NFS, Open Directory, and a bunch of other stuff enabled. I went to my iMac (the one on my model tag) and connected to the server in Directory Utility. I went to the login window and saw the users. However, whenever I try to log in to a user account, it logs in but then says that my Users folder is not available. Sure enough, I couldn't see it. The account is glitched in general, with the desktop background unchangeable and iPhoto library inaccessible, which proves that the Users folder is not accessible. In fact, one of my users can't even log in. It gets a weird error. And two do not accept the passwords that I set (I am sure that I typed them correctly).
How do I fix this, and I can can fix it, how do I set up the mobile user account? I have a user with a Mac Mini and a MBP, and he wants to keep them synced but have the account usable when he is on his laptop away from the network (running on the latest synced account).

Actually, that sounds like a DNS problem to me, except that I'd expect a DNS problem to show up other places as well. Take a look at the file /Library/Preferences/edu.mit.Kerberos on the client; it should look something like this:

...only with the name of your server instead of myserver.example.com. If it has anything weird instead/in addition, that's probably what's causing it. Also, if the server name ends in ".local", that makes things a bit weird; it should work, but I wouldn't be surprised to see glitches.
Another thing to check is manually dry looking up the server's hostname (on the client), and make sure it resolves correctly:
$ host myserver.example.com
myserver.example.com has address 192.168.0.5

Can I set up alerts for multiple email accounts? (...

I have two hotmail accounts set up on my Nokia E71.
For some reason I only get alerts for the second account I added.
I have gone through every setting/preferance menu I can think of to see if there's a difference but can find none.
Can anyone think of what I'm missing? If anything, I would have expected an alert for the original email.
I want to make sure I am getting the maximum benefit and use out of this phone and email alerts would be great (I phoned my carrier's tech support and they said the E71 has NO alerts for any mails so that was clearly incorrect)

Are you using the built-in email client?
If you are, double check the "New Email Alerts" option. This is under <Settings> -> <E-mail> -> <choose mailbox> -> <User Settings> -> <New Email Alerts>

E71 more than 2 email account notification

Hi,
I've setup a few additional email accounts on my E71 phone due to work accounts etc etc.
I'm using them with the Vodafone mail push service, they work great, so no problems there.
The problem is email notification, on the home screen I can only have notification of two email accounts, and a "sound" notification only happens if these two mails get an email.
this causes a problem as I can't see without checking every $X minutes in the other two accounts.
Is there a way to have either more than 2 mail accounts alerting on the home screen so I can see if any of the 4 email accounts have a mail (and also get the "mail beep" sound so I get an audio notification)
or not as good but acceptable, get the phone to alert me to "a mail message" in any email account, then I can look to see where it is ?

Well I've been thinking about this but I'm stuck at some point.
so let me tell you about it.
you know you have 2 home screen modes you can switch at anytime. Default names were personal and business I think.
OK now you can set 2 email notifications per home screen so that means you can set 4 email notifications in total.
now the tricky part is setting those 2 home screens to switch automatically at given time intervals let's say every 15 mins. this is where i got stuck
i don't know if it will ever work but it's just an idea

Having trouble setting up my website's email account on my iPhone 3G

Hey, I'm trying to set up my iPhone 3G to receive emails from my website's MailEnable WebMail inbox and I'm having some trouble.
I don't know what my Outgoing Mail Server Host Name (smtp) is. My website help section advises they don't have an outgoing smtp server and that my broadband supplier can help.

If your mail account provider doesn't have an SMTP server, then you can use the one from your ISP's email account if you're on your home network, or you can use your cell carrier's server settings when you're on 3G/EDGE. Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > the account > SMTP will have settings for Other SMTP servers; if your carrier's is there, toggle it ON.

I am having trouble setting up my email accounts with the osX mail application. I have two accounts, an outlook and my college email through google. When I try to add the outlook account the prompt says that it cannot connect to the server and when I try my college mail i get the following prompt.
"Trying to log in to the Exchange server “autodiscover-s.outlook.com” failed. Make sure the email address and password you entered are correct, then click Continue."
Please note that my college account is run by gmail and ends in murraystate.edu

okay for your college email. Heres what you do.
Try adding your email and wait for the message to come up
Trying to log in to the Exchange server “autodiscover-s.outlook.com” failed. Make sure the email address and password you entered are correct, then click Continue."
Once it does, you will notice 2 extra boxes One says username and the other password. You will notice that the username will not have @murraystate.edu
Add this and continue and this should now be added as an email account and should be able to receive emails as normal.
For your outlook emails, I would recommend using the following article to set it up. It is fairly straightforward.
