Trouble shoot mac problems on a pc?

I am developing my AIR project on a PC, the project runs as
desired on the PC, but is having several problems on the Mac I am
testing on.
It is becoming extremely painful trying to trouble shoot the
problem, I have to change 1 line at a time, then compile the .air
file, then install it on the mac, then see if theres a difference.
(I cant use the debuger on my pc because its running fine on the
pc).
so I was wondering if anyone knew a better way to trouble
shoot this?

this is what you need to do to exclude everything apart from desktop.
on time machine preferences, click on Options
click plus sign, on the new window, click macintosh HD
do a Control + A then deselect users then click okay
go to options again, plus sign, go to users, control +A then deselect your user account
go to options again, plus sign, go to your user account, control + A, deselect desktop
start the back up.

Why does ibooks crash everytime there is an update? The delta is a smooth running board also I want to mention to the person with crackling sounds, change the irq like I did, that fix the problem and the power is totaly too good to be true.

Ie browser pop-up and disappear EBS R12

EBS R12.0.6 RHEL4.6
One of our end-users client PC has a strange behavior of her ie browser.
Is is like this, her ie can launch the main web page of EBS and all the navigations to modules are fine.
But when she tried to view the concurrent program output and want to save it to another file. She
will click Tools>copy file and the ie browser suppose to appear with output page that can be saved to local disk.
but instead, it will appear and disappear quickly. Have you encountered this ie problem before?
The other client PCs are fine.

Thanks.... but I did tried that....adding the url. and we usually turn off pop-up blockers. How do I ensure that the
pop-up blockers did not get on again? maybe there stubborn hiding blockers that can autorunl like a virus?Just to be sure, ask the same user to login from some other machine with the same application username/password, if he/she is able to use the export, then it is a machine issue and most probably you need to check all the software installed (including the browser) to turn off pop-up blockers. You may also try with some other browser (like Firefox) to verify that the issue not with IE.

I have a small window quickly popping up and disappearing in the top left corner of my screen?

I apologize in advance if this has been covered elsewhere, but I have been searching and haven't found anything yet. And thank you for any help you can offer, it is greatly appreciated.
Every 15 seconds or so a small, empty window will pop up in the top left corner of my screen and then vanish instantly. It opens and closes in a blink, so quickly that I am not able to interact with the window in any way. However, it shows up momentarily as a firefox tab on my bottom panel, so I know it is a firefox problem.
It is only an issue because whenever it pops up I am exited from fullscreen if I am watching a video online, and anything that I am typing while the window pops up will be ignored.
I am currently running Linux Mint Olivia 15 Cinnamon. However, I had the exact same problem when I was running Windows 8. In both cases, firefox has been installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled, which does not fix anything. I have updated firefox since it started happening, which also did not fix anything.
It was very tricky, but I did manage to get a screenshot of the box while it was open.

MacBook Pro Retina (Mid-2012) Yosemite: Crashing VERY Frequently. Often While Loading Webpages. I believe is a Graphics-Card Switching issue. Have tried trouble shooting: "Disable Automatic Graphics Switching" and "Reduced Transparency" no luck

However I am not sure. I am not that tech savvy... Anyway my computer is becoming unusable. Its truly driving me crazy. Its worth noting that I would have this problem OCCASIONALLY while running Mavericks, since the update it has become far me frequent: Computer Restarts shows message "you computer has restarted because of a problem" or sometimes my screen just goes black, the sound still plays. Pasted below is the error report. Can anyone tell me, do I have the common problem as discussed in the article or something else? I have had this machine for about 18 months, already had to replace the SSD, now this. It looks like I maybe on my way to having a $3k paperweight.   Please help!

Remove "Air Display" and see whether there's any change. If not, the logic board is faulty and must be replaced.
Any third-party software that doesn't install by drag-and-drop into the Applications folder, and uninstall by drag-and-drop to the Trash, is a system modification.
Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.
I never install system modifications myself, and except as stated in this comment, I don't know how to uninstall them. You'll have to do your own research to find that information.
Here are some general guidelines to get you started. Suppose you want to remove something called “BrickMyMac” (a hypothetical example.) First, consult the product's Help menu, if there is one, for instructions. Finding none there, look on the developer's website, say www.brickmymac.com. (That may not be the actual name of the site; if necessary, search the Web for the product name.) If you don’t find anything on the website or in your search, contact the developer. While you're waiting for a response, download BrickMyMac.dmg and open it. There may be an application in there such as “Uninstall BrickMyMac.” If not, open “BrickMyMac.pkg” and look for an Uninstall button. The uninstaller might also be accessed by clicking the Customize button, if there is one.
Back up all data before making any changes.
You will generally have to restart the computer in order to complete an uninstallation. Until you do that, there may be no effect, or unpredictable effects.
If you can’t remove software in any other way, you’ll have to erase and install OS X. Never install any third-party software unless you're sure you know how to uninstall it; otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
Trying to remove complex system modifications by hunting for files by name often will not work and may make the problem worse. The same goes for "utilities" such as "AppCleaner" and the like that purport to remove software.

Calendar went to icloud and disappeared where how do i get entries back onto iphone4

Updated os, connected to iCloud, backed up including calendar,
Now all calendar entries have gone.
Tried switch off iCloud, switch off calendar, switch on again, unit off/on
Have no historical entries, backup - more like bin up, not happy - pls help
But do not say reset/etc too much hastle last time and now i dont trust cloud to return anything.

For the time since i have owned my mac computers i had to call apple support and i have to say that they are plaesure to work with.I have four computers a mac pro mac book a mini and a windows machine.I made a dumb mistake by downloading a program called mcaffe wireless protection on the pc and that messed every thing up i lost internet connection on all my computers.I called linksys right away and they able to get me working again on the windows machine but was no help at all on my mac's. I called apple tech support and explained what i had done and were kind enough to work with me for over a hour to resolve this problem and to get my systems all working.They are the and kindest folks that i have ever worked with.

Help trouble shooting PRINTER PROBLEM within Numbers using Leopard

Help!! On both my spreadsheet created and other templates I've attempted printing, the print preview looks perfect (with the spreadsheet centered on the page)... but when they print, instead of printing centered like the preview, the print runs off the top and starts printing with no top margin and partially through my spreadsheet.
I reinstalled my HP Photosmart C4280 printer, and downloaded the updated beta driver found on HP's website. This did solve the problem. Is anyone else having printing problems? What else could I try?!

I called Apple tech support and got an answer! In Numbers, we must use the Document Inspector to "format for" the printer we're using. I have 2 printers installed, and it was defaulting to my label printer. When I switched to my HP printer, I had to make some small tweaks to my page format, and then it printed perfect.

Trouble syncing Calendars between iOS 5 and Snow Leopard

I updated my iPhone and iPad to iOS5 and the iCloud stuff seems to work great between them.
However, my Macbook is running Snow Leopard and I am unable to sync my calendars onto it from my iPhone or iPad.
Syncing my calendars with the Mac over iCloud would be ideal, but even the wired connection doesn't seem to sync the calendar anymore, as it always did.
Any suggestions how to fix this?

Do the referenced links on this tip: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-2551 say that calendar syncing is even possible with Snow Leopard? If not, you may wish to switch to another webhost such as those found on http://www.comparewebhosts.com/ if upgrading to Lion or installing Windows is not an option.

I have not seen a unit with an on/off option for the card reader, but I have not seen every unit ever made.
What is the product number?
Do you know where it was disabled? By chance, was it disabled in device manager?
The card reader should be listed under disk drives based on the following image. You might try uninstalling/reinstalling the card reader(s) from device manager as outlined half way down in this document. The document is for Vista, but the steps are similar for Windows 7.
In device manager, a disabled device will have a down arrow icon on it. If it does indicate it is disabled, right-clicking it and selecting enable should enable it.

Trouble shooting - icloud refusing old password and stuck on the creen of my iPad

I cannot access my iPad Apps. Apple Id is stuck on the screen of my iPad, it does not want to accept the password.
I created a new password on my PC but I canot enter my Ipad Apps. How can I remove the Icloud from the iPad screen?

Trouble Shooting my problem with IWEB

IWEB has never worked on my new MacBook Pro
all of the options under FILE and what not are in shadow...
It has been recomended to me that I uninstall IWEB and reinstall it with my CDs
I am new to Macs and this sounds like a pretty major undertaking for me...
Can someone step me through the process

In your applications folder of your hard drive, find the iWeb folder. Trash it.
Perhaps using spotlight to find other iWeb files would help as well. Trash all of them. Your new iWeb will reinstall all the necessary files.
Get your install discs, insert, and when prompted for what kind of installation, select, custom. Select only iWeb then install. That should do it!

My Ipod Nano 5th generation is not being detected by Widows and Itunes. I have tried everything based on the trouble shooting tips outlined. Has anyone had this situation before? How was it resolved. My Ipod is just out of warrenty

Have done all trouble shooting tech a through Apples and still have not resolved issues on Windows and itunes not detecting my Ipod nano 5th generation device. Tried restoring the device manually using disk mode and still not being detected by the computer. Device is our of warenty as when service repair charges are $125.00 dolars more than I paid for this device. There must be some way to restore the entire device to factor settings without having to be connected to itunes and Windows. I wish I could connect but again device is not being read. I have another Ipod that is 8GB instaed of 16GB and it works fine. The sad thing about this situation is that my 9year old daughter worked hard doing delivering fliers for a long time to save her money to buy this 16 GB 5th generation Nano. Otherwise the Ipod works well but will not syncronize songs as it is not being detected. Maybe this is a result of corrupt files that got onto my daughters Ipod somehow and thus causing it not the be detwected through the USB connection thus as a result not be understoud as a working device through Windows and itunes. If anyone can help me out there including itune techs that would be well appreciated, but for now my daughter is not able to add new or delete any songs on her ipod as well pictures, and everything. Thanks

Try changing the cord. I could NOT get my computer to recognize my iPod 5th Gen until I read somewhere that different apple devices use different cords. I was inadvertently using my iPad cord and that caused my computer to not recognize my ipod.
