  • Trouble signing into Business Catalyst

    Hi,
I can't sign into my Business Catalyst account since this afternoon. I got so confused that I asked them to send me a password reminder, but if I click on that link I can enter a new password and confirm it, but it won't change it. It just goes away. So I changed my Adobe-Id password and tried it again. Same thing. I have Business Catalyst only since yesterday and created a couple of new Email addresses one of which I used for my Adobe-Id. Now I'm not sure if I have to use the old Email address with Business Catalyst or the new one and the old or new password. Anyway I tried all combinations and it just won't work. Hope you can help me with this issue. Thanks very much.

    Hi,
The error message is: ERROR: Either your username, password or both are incorrect ERROR: 1.
    The username is [email protected]
I was on the chat with someone this afternoon and they couldn’t fix it. They even gave me a new password to try, but it still doesn’t work. I have changed the AdobeId yesterday as I have created a new Email address in Catalyst and so I don’t have to use my gmail one anymore. It works fine with all other logins, just not Business Catalyst. No matter which combination I try. The one from the chat couldn’t resolve the problem and said she’s going to pass it onto a higher level of support, but I haven’t heard of them yet unless it is you.

  • I can sign into my email account where it goes to "Email Preview", it's stuck on that page. I cannot retrieve my emails, address book, etc. Why can't I get my email page?

When I sign into my email account I am brought to the "Email Preview" page. When I click on "email", "address book" or any of the other files, it tries to connect. In the box at the top it says "connect, then Zimbra, then connect again. Then I am brought right back to the "Email Preview" page.
I can't even open individual emails from this page. I am stuck on this page.
    Altho, I can sign out.

How about '''View Entire Inbox''', does that work?

Now this is the part I don't get. The book tells me to go to http://localhost:8080/ch1/Serv1 even though there are no files/folders that have the name Serv1.
Do you understand what the <servlet-mapping> declaration in the web.xml means? It is roughly just saying the appserver that it should port all requests on /Serv1 to the mentioned servlet.
a couple others like/ch1/WEB-INF/classes/Ch1Servlet.class and /ch1/WEB-INF/web.xml. The WEB-INF folder is not public accessible, so forget about that part.
"Resource not found" simply means that either the URL is wrong (case counts!) or that the resource is actually not there. I.e. not compiled, not deployed, not loaded, etcetera. Reading the appserver's startup logs might also help.

  • I am having trouble signing into my adobe account on my tablet it says failed to authorize device?

I am having trouble signing into my adobe account on my tablet.  When I sign in it says failed to authorize device when I sign in and I have used my adobe account on this tablet in the past.

I have tried that several times as well. All that I get is a white screen that says "hello" and tells me "Update Completed Your iPhone was updated successfully. There are just a few more steps to follow, and then you're done!" so i click "continue"  it asks for my iCloud password, I put it in and it goes black gives me white apple logo then takes me right back to where I started with the white "hello" screen displaying. Ive tried resetting my password multiple times and nothing is happening, I dont know what else to do.

  • Trouble signing into iMessage

Hi,  Does anyone else have trouble signing into iMessage.  I used to use it all the time.  Then I had some problems with my Apple ID and also got a new computer.  Now I can't sign into it at all.  It just spins and spins like it's working on it, on my computer.  On my iPad it says it can't sign in with the ID and password I've given, which I KNOW for sure is correct.

Please take any of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, quit and relaunch Messages and/or FaceTime and test. Stop when the issue is resolved. If none of the steps helps, post your results.
    Step 1
Make sure that caps-lock is not on and that you're entering the password correctly. If necessary, type the password in a TextEdit window and then drag or copy it into the Messages sign-in dialog.
    Step 2
    Back up all data.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select Change Settings for Keychain "login". In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
    From the menu bar, select
Keychain Access ▹ Preferences ▹ First Aid
If the box marked Keep login keychain unlocked is not checked, check it.
    Select
Keychain Access ▹ Keychain First Aid
from the menu bar and repair the keychain.
    Step 3
Use the search box in the toolbar of the Keychain Access window to find and delete all items with "iMessage," "FaceTime," or "Apple Persistent" in the name.

  • Inconsistent trouble signing into Websites/apps?

I require some help as I am having trouble signing into things on my mobile, such as Skype and checkoutsmart. the problem manifests sometimes with applications, sometimes with websites. I am 100% sure the passwords I am entering are correct - I have tried them on my laptop, and even got password resets and then copied and pastes, but it won't let me sign in.
It is very inconsistent, for instance the same password works on the Skype app but it does not work if I try and sign into the Skype website - but then if i test the same password on the same site on my laptop it works.
I have checked I am up to date with the latest software, I have even deleted and reinstalled the apps affected, ensured the case of the passwords is right, most of most obvious and normal things to try.
However, none of these fixes have worked. I'm not even 100% sure it was the phone but I didnt have these problems before I started using the handset and I'm not sure what else it could be - if anyone has any advice i'd appreciate it!

  • Having trouble signing into Imessage?

If you have tried all the tips from other users try going into your date and time settings and checking the box to set time date/time automatically.  This worked for me and a couple others as well.

    Hello Diane Smiley,
The steps detailed below can help resolve this error and get your signed into iMessage.
If you see "Could not sign in, please check your network connection and try again" when signing in to your Apple ID
To resolve this issue, follow these steps.
Update to the latest version of iOS.
Verify that you have a data connection by going to www.apple.com in Safari. You can complete Apple ID activation using Wi-Fi or a cellular data connection. If you need help connecting to Wi-Fi, follow these steps.
If you're using Wi-Fi, make sure that your local Wi-Fi network is using the recommended Wi-Fi settings.
Sign in to your account and ensure that the primary email address and alternate e-mail addresses have been verified. If verification is pending, follow the instructions in the email Apple sent to that email address to complete verification. Or remove the e-mail addresses from the account.
If your Apple ID isn't an email address, you can change it. The Apple ID that you're using to activate FaceTime or iMessage must be an email address. Find more information on how to change your Apple ID.
Tap Settings > General > Date & Time. Make sure that your iPhone is set to the correct time zone. If Set Automatically is on but the wrong time zone appears, turn Set Automatically off and choose the correct time zone, date, and time.
Enable iMessage and FaceTime while connected to a different Wi-Fi network (in a different location) if a cellular data connection is not available.

  • I am getting emails asking if I signed into my email via a web browser. Are they legit?

    e

As a new security measure Apple are sending emails whenever you (or anyone) signs into your iCloud account. They come from [email protected] and take this form:
    Dear Roger Wilmut,
Your Apple ID (XXXXXXXXXXXXX) was used to sign in to iCloud via a web browser.
Date and Time: September 7, 2014, 4:13 AM PDT
If you recently signed in to iCloud.com, you can disregard this email.
If you have not signed in to iCloud.com recently and believe someone may have accessed your account, you should reset your password at My Apple ID.
    Apple Support
Note that they address you by name, and that the links (which you can check in Mail by hovering the mouse over them) are to the legitimate sites. Fake emails usually don't address you by name, and more particularly the 'reset' links are to obviously non-Apple addresses. In any event you should as a matter of course go to appleid.apple.com by entering it in a browser, not following links in emails. However as long as the emails look like the example here they are legitimate. Whether they are indeed a useful security facility is open to some argument.
