Trouble syncing ical on macbook pro, iphone 5, and iCloud
Does anyone know what to do with this message:
The server responded with “412” to operation CalDAVCalendarSplitDualTypeCalendarQueueableOperation.
Strange to reply to my own post but having spent more time reading other sufferers comments I seem to have sorted this out
It is associated with what you have ticked as the calendar when you make the event entry
I changed the ticked calendar from My Mac list to iCloud list and that seems to have done the job, although still having to refresh iCal on MBP to be sure it syncs

Having trouble with this. The calendars were working fine but now they're not. I have three calendars - one on iCloud that I use for personal stuff, the others on two exchange accounts that I use for work emails etc.
The Macbook Pro is brand new (yesterday) but copied all setting from previous computer which is also having problems as of this week so it's not the new gadget that's the problem. The iPhone and iPad have always synced fine until this week.
Now if I put an appointment into calendar on one device, it sometimes shows up on one or both of the other devices - but not always. This is scary as I am getting double booked and forgetting to go to things so I am desperate! I considered deleting the accounts and reinstalling them but they might lose the data so this seems very risky. Any advice gratefully received - thanks in advance...The warranty entitles you to complimentary phone support for the first 90 days of ownership.

Also, I changed my ID on one of the iTunes accounts on my MacBook Pro. However, when I go to download music or apps on my iPhone, the old account ID keeps popping up and i don't know how to get that to update the account ID- even after synching the phone and laptop.
i had one for a long time, then when i got the ipad i didn't realize they would all still work under one so i set up the second one on that
then when i got the new iphone i put in the info for the first and main one from my mac pro and it would not work at all, and i knew it was right, then it asked me to create a new one or i couldnt finish the setup
hence why i have 3 now
hard to believe you cannot combine into one
oh well, i will just make them all accessible for all 3

How do I rectify this situation, it is really frustrating having to reset my Apple id and icloud password every two days.
It sounds as if your account has been compromised. I would recommend logging into those accounts from your computer and their websites and changing your password.

I can't get iCal to push entries and sync between my MacBook Pro, my iPad 2 and iPhone.
I have iCal on my Macbook Pro, V4.04 and I can't get entries to sync with my iPad or iPhone. I have all the calendars checked. I have gone to system preferences and Me and manually synced and I doesn't sync.
Subscribe to your calendar in iCal (if you have not done so)
iCal>Preferences>Accounts> click the plus sign and add your MM account, your calendar will appear in iCal, the one you have is probably a local calendar (does it appear under 'On My Mac'?) -
I have an iPhone and keep my calendar into it. I have synced all photos. How do I get the calendar to sync with my MacBook Pro?
Enable iCloud on both, and Calendars on the iPhone should sync with iCal on the Mac wirelessly.

iCal won't sync from my MacBook Pro to MobileMe. But MobileMe entries appear on iCal on the MacBook. My iPhone and iPad work fine. Any suggestions?

You are awesome and already a step ahead! The logs are blank, because by default they are off. If its necessary to turn them on the directions on, instructions of how to to this are at the end.
To check if they are both on the updated version, its possible to check by going to accounts.firefox.com to see if you are logged in. If so, both are updated. If not, how to update: sign in at that address to be on the new one.
Toggling the sync may jumpstart it too. Removing the account and adding it back starts a fresh sync, or Tools > Sync Now.
* How do I turn on sync logs:
# Open about:config and turn on: services.sync.log.appender.file.logOnSuccess and services.sync.log.logger.engine.bookmarks
# Restart Firefox and look at: about:sync-log
# Logs and error messages will be located here

my iphone 5 will not sync with my macbook pro. it says my computer is no longer authorized to download purchased items from the iphone. However, when I go to authorize my computer, it says it is already authorized. How do I fix this?
You can't change the Apple ID that the Authorize dialog comes up with by default. It's showing you that Apple ID for a reason: it means that the items you want to play were purchased using that Apple ID and therefore you need to authorize your computer with that Apple ID. Changing the Apple ID given completely defeats the entire purpose.
If you don't know the password to the given Apple ID, then you will no longer be able to play those items. -

I have upgraded my macbook pro to Lion, using Icloud if take a photo on my Iphone this syncs to my mac however my video does not synce wirelessly from my iphone to macbook. How can I get this to do it.

Yes contacts is on and the account listed is the iCloud account (@me.com)
When I go onto iCloud the only contact there is my @me.com email. This account was set up so I could use iCloud but I also have a yahoo account on my iPhone if this has anything to do with it. -
