Trouble syncing pics and video to iPhone 4S
I tried to sync an entire event folder from iPhoto to my iPhone 4s via iTunes. Only about 80 out of 200 items synced. It does not appear to be a memory issue. Any ideas?

Problem when syncing pics and video
I am having a problem when I sync pics or video. It is set up to only download the new pics on my device but it downloads ALL pics every time. This is very annoying. I think it started when I updated to 6.0. Is there not a way to sync them without getting every pic every time? I open my blackberry picture folder in my pc and there are triplets of all my photos. Please help.
Welcome to the forums.
As Allan noted, it's important to be using USB 2.0 and it's possible your machine at home doesn't have this. Check it out via the manual or support site to make sure your home machine meets the specifications.
Assuming for a moment it does, then what you can try is to turn off automatic sync (without the iPhone attached, go to the iPhone tab in iTunes and tell it not to look for an iPhone when attached). Then attach the phone and turn off all syncing except for your music. Make sure you sync via a playlist, and select a playlist that has a few hundred songs (or create one). See if that will transfer properly. If so, it may be the syncing of other items that is causing this problem. -

Syncing pics and video question
I am using the new i phone 4 and are starting to get in to i movie and the camera on the phone. I have both a I mac at work and at home.
When I sync up to either machine the camera wants to sync with that machine which in essence calls it to load all the pics from that machines I photo to my phone. What I am more interested in doing is telling the I phone which pics to put on that machine in essence syncing my phone to the machine not the other way around.
What I really want to do also is be able to pick and choose which photos from my phone that I want to import and which that I do not..Is that possible! i.e. i would like to keep some videos on my phone as I edit them in I movie for my I phone...Is there a way to dump some of my camera roll into I photo and keep some of it. Please advise.
Bonus Question: My wife has an I phone and she and I are sharing the same I mac at home...Is there a way that we can set up individual I photo files as to keep our video and pics separate in I photo.I was wondering this same thing. And I know what the OP is talking about. As there are ways to do what he is talking about, (work arounds) - it still isn't just plain cut and dry like it should be. I have no clue why this great phone has so many little downsides that it doesn't need to have.
First off, this "syncing" name to do what has been done over years on other devices which is called "transferring files" or "Import" and "Export" is just stupid, and on top of that completely limiting.
What I and the OP would like to do, and have it be like is more like, when I plug in my iPhone I don't want to have to "sync" crap, what I want to do is have it operate more like a mini firewire drive has been plugged into my computer. I would like to take certain things off my iPhone, leaving other things, and take ONLY certain things off my computer and put them into my iPhone. Be able to delete anything from my iPhone I want and vice versa.
This "syncing" crap is ridiculous. I mean, I found work arounds, but its stupid to have to do that. IE: If I want to delete photos from my iPhone that I got from my computer, I can't do it !! I simply can not go to my phone and check photos to delete and delete them.. HA !! Is that ridiculous or what ? What I have to do is "sync" a empty folder to it, then it wipes it out. BUT its limiting because, what if I only want to delete a few, and keep some others ? Well, yes, I have to then create a "sync" folder with them photos I want to keep, but none others, then sync it, and there it is. Its totally redundant and stupid and there is no reason for it.
That is alot of steps to just do what normally should be able to be done. Seriously what is Steve Jobs thinking with some of these things ?
This SAME thing applies to ringtones I made and got into my iPhone. I can not delete them !! I have to use the above process to accomplish this as well.
What we want, and the way it should be is more of a "import" and "export" thing. NOT this "sync" idea. Its stupid. It takes too much control over my iPhone and files, and I want to be in complete control of my iPhone and files. I paid for it, why not ?.
This also applies to the music, and just all "syncing" cases with this iPhone and iTunes. It causes accidental complete erasures of your carefully compiled files and vice versa. It is completely to "do it all or nothing at all" type of thing. Steve Jobs swears I want my whole music library on my iPhone at all times. Or all my photos, and then he wants to take control of them.
I say get rid of "Sync" and give me "Import" and "Export" of my personally created files along with complete control of what I want to keep where and what I don't. JUST like a mini firewire drive was attached and how that works. It would be SOOOOO much more simple. And make sooooo much more sense. Then have premade tags of any thing we purchased and was copywriten that makes those things NOT be able to be transfered around without syncing and it taking control like it does now so it can't be anywhere but with who purchased it. -

put your photos / videos on the cloud, access them on your other devices..
You can also backup your phone.

iPhone 6 will not sync music. This has become a problem since using itunes 12. It also will not sync all my pics and video's with my iPad 4 either. Removed and re-installed iTunes with no improvement. It stops at last step saying waiting for items to copy and just sits there. The iPad finish the sync, but some video's are missing.

Pic and video from camcorder to iphone????
i have a HUD hard disk drive JVC camcorder made by Everio. It syncs directly to my pc using USB. I was wondering is there any way to transfer pic and video from my camcorder to my iphone either direct from camera or from the sync center on my pc for the camera.
There isn't a way to sync directly to the iPhone from your camcorder.
Once you get the pics/movies to your computer, though, it is possible. The movies need to be imported into iTunes and then synced to the phone. As for the pictures, you need to consolidate them into one folder and then from the Photos tab in iTunes (when you click on the iPhone icon on the left menu bar) you select the folder those photos are in to sync to the phone. -
Please somebody help me !!!! I just got back from Paris and Israel and this update got my iphone 5 in recovery mode. I can't loose all my pics and videos from my vacations ??????????????????????????????????
NOO it's not broken it is a software error. What you need to do is put your phone into what is called DFU mode or Device Firmware Upgrade Mode. What you have to do is connect your phone to itunes but do not start the sync process. Ignore any popups from itunes initially. When you are connected to itunes take your phone and hold down the home button and power button at the same time. Hold them down for about 30 seconds or so and you should see your device screen rollover to the black screen and disconnect from itunes once this happens it will reboot and automatically connect to iTunes, after this happens start the restore process through itunes and it should continue past the error message.
* Also before you do this try ejecting your sim card if you have the at&t model if you are on Verizon ignore this. There is a small oval port on the right side of the phone with a small pinhole. Use a paperclip and insert it into the hole, the door will pop open. Take the door out, remove the sim card and wait 5 minutes then return the sim card back into the phone and begin the above process.
If none of this works you may just want to bring it the genius bar and have them look at it. Good Luck and I hope this helps! -
When I upgraded iphone to ios 5 and all of my pics and videos are gone. I remember doing the upgrade through iTunes. I've looked in iPhoto and iTunes. Does anyone have any sugesstions of how I can get my pictures back?
For some reason, did you fail to use the iPhone as intended? Meaning copying the pictures and videos off the device regularly so that in the event the device is lost/stolen or simply fails, copies would exist on your computer?
You can try restoring from the backup created prior to the update, but it is strongly recommended that pictures/videos be copied off the device on a regular basis. Then any pics/vids that the user desires to keep on the device can be synced back via iTunes. -
I recently had to swap out my iphone 4s and I am having problems restoring photos and videos from icloud. When I restored my phone from icloud, half of my pics and videos have been deleted, the pics that were restored on my phone are very blurry, and the videos won't play. I get a message on my phone that says " the URL you are requesting is not found on this server". I have erased and reset my phone twice, but every time I do it, more pics and videos are deleted. I have backed up to icloud and iphoto, however, some of the pics are no longer on iphoto either. Is there someway to get the videos to play on my phone again? Make the photos not as blurry as they are now and to restore the pics and videos that have been lost? I really would love to have them back, this phone is supposed to be the best and right now it doesn't seem to be. Please help if you can.
I too have noticed that once i restored from iCloud. Pictures blurry and videos wont play!

The password is set on the WiFi router providing the service, by the owner of the network to prevent unwanted "guests" accessing the network. The only way to know it is to ask the owner permission to use the network. Otherwise, you have to find a free WiFi hotspot that doesn't require a password.

How can I transfer video taken with my iPhone to my iPad WITHOUT using a computer or iTunes? I'm going to Europe for a month and want to use my iPhone to take pics and video, then come back to the hotel room and use my iPad to edit/store each evening. I don't want to use my iPad to take the video...too large/bulky. And I WON'T have a computer with me...I purchased the iPad to take with me so I could use the RDC to my home computer and avoid taking my computer at all. Is this possible?
here is a cheaper solution than camera kit and a lot easier if you have WIFI available.
I use the PhotoSync APP (I think its a $1.99) will transfer videos and photos over WIFI to any other IOS device or even PC/MAC. Great app since I like doing video and photos on my IPHONE and transfer to IPAD2 without synching through computer or doing cloud based storage.
You can even send photos/videos from your MAC/PC to your IOS devices that way too. Makes it so much easier.

I have test in my own environment and can normally map the network driver when logon as Microsoft account.
Do you check the option Reconnect at logon?
If you use Connect using different credentials, do you check the option Remenber my credentials?
