Trouble upgrading to Busy Cal 2?

I have been trying for a week to upgrade from version 2.5.4 to Busy Cal 2  version 2.6 on the Mac App Store and it is not working. I get error sign messages that the Store is having trouble (try again later) or just nothing happens.  Busy Cal Support reports troubles, but they say it is the Mac App Store's issue. Any one else experiencing this and found a solution?

You can download iTunes from here:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
You need to save the installer file on your desktop. When you are prompted to Run\Save, choose save.
Then you run the installer, iTunesSetup.exe, from your desktop.
If that doesn't work, it may be necessary to manually remove iTunes before reinstalling, but I won't go into that unless you need to do it.

    That sounds like a settings issue to me. Check with your IT depatment to make sure you have it configured properly.

    I'm having trouble upgrading the domain which is created in a prior release of weblogic to 10.3.2.
    I tried to start the server and it prompted me with the option of upgrading. But somehow failed to do the upgrade.

    After installing, reboot holding down CMD+s, (+s), then when the DOS like prompt shows, type in...
    applejack AUTO
    Then let it do all 5 of it's things.
    At least it'll eliminate some questions if it doesn't fix it.
    The 6 things it does are...
    Correct any Disk problems.
    Repair Permissions.
    Clear out Cache Files.
    Repair/check several plist files.
    Dump the VM files for a fresh start.
    Trash old Log files.
    First reboot will be slower, sometimes 2 or 3 restarts will be required for full benefit... my guess is files relying upon other files relying upon other files!
    Disconnect the USB cable from any Uninterpretable Power Supply so the system doesn't shut down in the middle of the process.

    In the connection setting step or database selection step, the following error dialog appears: "Upgrade SAP Business One from version xxx is not allowed. Contact your SAP business partner for support."

    Upgrade Wizard, Upgrade Path, Restriction
    Reason and Prerequisites
    Application error
    Due to the nature of development cycles, it takes some time for SAP Business One 8.8 to merge bug fixes from latest released install base patches. As a result, some upgrade paths are restricted in order to avoid data loss/duplicate upgrade in certain cases. For example: a bug fix is applied on 2007 A SP01 PL07 and merged with 8.8 PL05. If the database in 2007 A SP01 PL07 is upgraded to 8.8 PL04, the fix will be lost. In addition, there is a risk of data loss if the fix involves some metadata change. So 2007 A SP01 PL07 can only be merged with version 8.8 PL05 and higher.
    Solution
    SAP intends to provide a patch or patches in order to solve the problem described.
    The section Reference to Related Notes below will list the specific patches once they become available. The corresponding Info file of the patches in SAP Service Marketplace will also show the SAP Note number.
    Please note that these references can only be set at patch release date.
    SAP will deliver patches only for selected releases at its own discretion, based on the business impact and the complexity of the implementation.
    In addition to the bug fixes listed in this SAP Note, this patch contains also the bug fixes from:
    SAP Business One 2007 A SP01 PL06,

    no i do not have garageband 2, i didnt know you had to buy it, but the whole reason i tryed to download it was because since i upgraded to Tiger my garage band wont play real instruments. The description of the 2.0.2 update said that it improves compatibility with Mac OS X Tiger, so i figured i should try that. But i guess i need to BUY garageband 2 in order to use that update. But does that mean in order for me to use my garageband effectivly again i need to BUY another product (garageband 2)?

  • Trouble upgrading to 10.6.1

    Hi all,
    I'm having trouble upgrading to iTunes 10.6.1.  Earlier today, I opened iTunes, and received an error message that "iTunes Library.itl cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes."  Still not sure why this happened. I followed a workaround I found by essentially renaming a previous iTunes library. 
    Now, I open iTunes, and when I click on "software update," it is indicated that I can update to 10.6.1.  However, this takes me to the main Mac Software Update program, but unfortunately I'm told that there are no updates for my computer.  The "current version" I am using is iTunes 10.5.1. 
    Any advice on how I can actually upgrade to 10.6.1?

    One step listed in the link to "helpful" info, was (when Iooked 30 seconds ago), to search for and download the newest version of iTunes. I'm running iTunes on Win 7 machine and was prompted to update today, 10.22.2014, and did so without a problem. Having said that, however, it looks as though the latest iTunes (12.0.1.26) is finally doing what the last version refused to do, which is to actually fully populate all my playlists on my 6, but there is a hitch: 12.0.1.26 will NOT allow you to show the sidebar unless you click on "playlists," that is, you cannot keep it open all the time.
    And, when plugging the 6 into the computer, the phone icon shows up but clicking on it does nada. What does work, for some strange reason, is clicking on the tiny icon (just under the "Store" menu link at top screen) which looks much like a tiny barrel, someone's idea of external drives, I suppose. The phone then comes up, with the list of stuff on the phone just under it where the sidebar used to be. Sync is now restricted to the lower right of the screen.
    Apparently, you will also need to update your iPhone's software as well; some friends with the 4 and 4s, however, had troubles with them after upgrading. The message from Silicon Valley (I can see Apple from my backyard, ha ha) is apparently, "keep upgrading," folks, get rid of those old phones.

    We have the same issue.
    Whe are in the middle of the ABAP unicode enabling and we haven't found a solution for some customer Business Objects - e.g. Z_BUS2017. They are OK (UCCHECK transaction) but they haven't the Unicode flag. The standard Object BUS2017, program MM07MMOB have the Unicode flag activeted (view TRDIR-UCCHECK).
    If you have got a solution please, advice us.

    We just upgraded to v3.1 and the security I put in place in v3.0 did not carry over for the folders. Our company wanted to secure the folders per SAP security role, so I did that by breaking the inheritence relationship from the Root Folder on child folders that they should not have access to (see SAP note#1281763 for explaination on this type of procedure). It worked fine in v3.0, but after the upgrade, all of those changes had disappeared and every SAP role was able to see every folder. This was a major effort to secure those folders and I do not want to do it again. Also, we did import the roles into the upgrade BO v3.1 before we imported the BO structure, which as told to us by SAP, would work and not cause this issue.

    I can't sign into my Business Catalyst account since this afternoon. I got so confused that I asked them to send me a password reminder, but if I click on that link I can enter a new password and confirm it, but it won't change it. It just goes away. So I changed my Adobe-Id password and tried it again. Same thing. I have Business Catalyst only since yesterday and created a couple of new Email addresses one of which I used for my Adobe-Id. Now I'm not sure if I have to use the old Email address with Business Catalyst or the new one and the old or new password. Anyway I tried all combinations and it just won't work.     I was on the chat with someone this afternoon and they couldn’t fix it. They even gave me a new password to try, but it still doesn’t work. I have changed the AdobeId yesterday as I have created a new Email address in Catalyst and so I don’t have to use my gmail one anymore. It works fine with all other logins, just not Business Catalyst. No matter which combination I try. The one from the chat couldn’t resolve the problem and said she’s going to pass it onto a higher level of support, but I haven’t heard of them yet unless it is you.
