Trouble uploading a new album into iTunes

I'm trying to upload my new album to my iTunes library, and the first couple of times I didn't have an internet connection so it found that it was not possible to get my cover art.
However, I later tried with internet connection and no cover art or song, band or album name appeared during or after the upload.
Can I do anything to change my current situation?

I could think of some reasons: Copy Protection, fingerprints, very small scratches ...
The easiest solution would be to try an import on a different computer

Thank you for your prompt response - I did as you said and did a drag and drop into the iTunes window - it imported and got my album art from the net. When I started Itunes with the shift key down I was prompted to choose a library but since I copied over the media folder and not the library folder I was unable to select that so I guess I will have to create a new library and add in all the music, videos, etc. unless I wait for my laptop and export the library or at least that seems to be the case? In short, all my data (iTunes media folder) is on my external drive and can be added to the blank iTunes screen but I can not choose a library folder. Is there anyway around completely making all those playlists again? I am not sure my laptop will survive the shop with data intact and really hate to start over on those.
In an unrelated question - I collect old TV shows from the 1950's. Can I make playlists within the home video folder somehow? In other words like one for Quiz shows, one for comedies, one for police and detective shows, etc. while I am remaking all my playlists for my music if I end up having to go that route?

This was thosands of songs that I had carefully picked over the years and now they are all gone. Someone please help me!!!

if you select the tracks you want and then click on get info in the pop up window where you put cover art in and tick Grouping insert art

Other people have been having similar problems with songs over a number of days.
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find those songs and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

New album from iTunes

Just bought a new album from ITUNES. It is showing in my library, and I have my IPOD touch connected to my MAC. I click on ADD TO, click on the album in the library, click again on ADD TO OWNER'S IPOD, but nothing happens.

The advice you provided me helped download songs from the album that failed to download the first time. However, there are songs that I originally downloaded that have blank spots in the song... How can I re-download songs that have already been downloaded so they are "clean" .. i.e. the play straight through without blank spots in them. Can I do this without re-paying?

I purchased a new album online thru itunes and added it to my library. When I tried to add the album to my 6th nano it wouldn't download. All the tracks are check marked and I can listen to the album on my pc but it won't sync onto the ipod. The new pc is authorized, any ideas?

You can only sysc with one iTunes library. The new computer is a new library. You have to restore your iPod on the new conputer and then sync.

i have two itunes accounts but i only use one to buy music. while on the account that i use for music, i bought a new album last night. i bought the album with my 5th gen ipod. after the album was done downloading i accidently side swiped over the first track and deleted it. when i went back to redownload the track the message "this computer is already associated with an apple id. you can download past purchases on this computer with just one apple id every 90 days. this computer can be used with a different apple id in 81 days." i do not understand why i cant redownload something i just purchased. please help.

Unfrotunately, this sounds like a dead TC.
- also, the picture does NOT pick up the 2 airport expressess in the house that I used to extend the wirelass network on the previous TC
- there is no option to extend the wireless network
You need to reconfigure the Expresses to rejoin the TC's network via a factory reset.

HT1386 Trouble with the new version of iTunes on an old laptop...

I have just spent an hour and half on the phone to iTunes support. They were great and helped me to back-up my old iphone3 which was almost dead and then restore the data onto my new iPhone4S, however the new version of iTunes on the laptop doesn't seem to be showing any of my music or apps, they are all my boyfriend's stuff. Do I need to log into my account? How do I do this? Will that have all my music and apps?

You can be on any account to show all music. But between your acct and your BFs account, if you have different songs and apps, it will be difficult to back up and/or transfer your purchased songs and apps because using different Apple IDs in one library can confused things on itunes.
But if you're missing songs on your itunes click here: Donwloading past purchases from App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
That will only restore songs that you purchased from iTunes. If you downloaded songs from a third-party site, you have to locate it on your computer and add it to itunes.

Okay, can someone please give a useful answer? Thanks! I have been experiencing exactly the same problem for some time now, and it is very annoying. Furthermore, I would like to point out to Chris CA that there is absolutely nothing ambiguous about the original post.
So here is the deal. I used to be able to burn CDs with iTunes that played back fine on both my car and home stereo. After some update, and I am very sorry but I really do not remember which one, as I am just a user and not a programmer and just want something that works, which in the end Apple used to be all about, and therefore do not keep track of all the updates, CDs won't play back on my car stereo. Nothing else changed, still the same brand of CDs (even the same stack!), still the same car stereo, and still the same 2007 MBP. So by simple deduction I conclude it must be a software update. And I do not care what the exact cause is, I just want a fix!
I'd like to apologize for my tone in the above, but it is just a very annoying problem, even more so because it seems nothing is being done about it. Thanks for your answer in advance!

Elements uses the fonts on your computer so just install the font the way you normally would and PSE should pick it up.

Cannot download the new os into itunes

i have a 2 month old ipad2 and it is having some issues with opening email. i went to restore it and it started the process to download a new os. when i try to download the new operating system into itunes i get the mesg that the network timed out. 3 times i tried this when i was not at the computer but it remained on. the 4th time i was on the computer for the entire time it took to do the download and i got the same msg. i don't know what to do next.
btw. i rebooted the ipad and my email problem went away.

Have you tried temporarily turning off your firewall and antivirus software ? A number of people on here have successfully downloaded it after doing so.
