Trouble using Safari on start-up with pop-up error

Hi,
I'm having trouble using Safari. Every time I open up the application, a small screen popped up saying "Error- Failed to load the FastBrowserSearchPlugin plugin.* -[BrowserWindowController currentWebView]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x7aa570". What can I do to get rid of this issue. I am assuming it has something to do with the Fast Browser Search engine located on the top right of the safari app. Help me please! Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

You need to uninstall that plugin.

~ (Tilde) represents your Home folder.

Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like you want to use a specific search engine.

To set the default search engine, choose Safari > Preferences, then click General.
If you are having problems with extensions you can uninstall and reinstall the extension.

Am using Safari 4.1.3 with system 10.4.11 and can only come up with advances preference page when calling up security - thus cannot see cookies. I have Safari 5.0.6 on my MacBook. Will it run on my older machine? Can I transfer older bookmarks?

I am desperate to get access to my itunes to get music on my phone and all of this just makes me want me to sell my iphone since there is no other way to add music to my phone. The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Trouble using facetime on another device with same apple id

Hi
I am having trouble using facetime with my wife. I have an iPad 2 and she has an IPhone 4S. When we try to facetime, we are able to connect for a few seconds and then it drops off. We are then unable to reconnect. We both have the same apple Id and e-mail address although I am trying to contact her via her mobile number. Any suggestions would be grateful received.

Problem in Playing YouTube Videos using Safari. It says "500 Internal Server Error" every time I am going to play video?

Is there anybody who can help me fix this issue? I encountered this problem for almost to weeks now. I can't play video on You Tube using Safari browser for my MacBook Pro. Every time I tried to play video on You Tube. It shows

When I checked my other computer using Google Chrome and Firefox browser. There is no problem in playing You Tube videos.

From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
and confirm. Test.

IPhoto does not start up with incompatible Prokit error

i installed the new version of iphoto 9.3 ( as prompted by software updates). post installation, iphoto does not start up. it throws an error " incompatible prokit framework".

I have Mac OS 10.8 too and it won't run the last versions of both iPhoto and Aperture. It does work with earlier versions (Aperture 3.2.2 and iPhoto 9.2.3).
I suggest you to downgrade iPhoto rather than the OS as in less than one week Mac OS 10.8 will be released and hopefully you will be able to update it and to run the last version of iPhoto with it.
By the way, I think that my grandmother upgraded to this new OS but I don't know how to downgrade it.. LOL

[Reopened] qtcreator starting slow with at-spi error

After the qt update qtcreator is starting slow. After seconds of nothing happending the following message is printet to the stdout:
[user@ArchBox ~]$ qtcreator
xQt at-spi: error getting the accessibility dbus address: "Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken."
Accessibility DBus not found. Falling back to session bus.
Only solution i found was removing at-spi as a workaround. But Gtk3 depends on it so this is not possible. Any suggestions?

Ok. So i removed all the qt stuff and deleted even the projects. Result is that it is starting fast now. The error however remains.
Solved for me.
Edit: Reopened. Back to slow startup after the first try.

I am having trouble paying my Citicard bill electronically. Someone at the Citi help desk thought it was because of a Firefox firewall. But I also had trouble using Safari. Have other Firefox users experienced this problem with Citicards?.

I have an iMac with OS version 10.6.8. Firefox is 5.0.1. I have never had this trouble before in the two years I have been paying Citicard bills on line. The trouble started over the weekend.

i do not have a backup of it, so i am thinking about replacing my old hard drive from the water damaged into this one, not even sure if that would work, but it did not seem to be damaged, as i recovered all the files i wanted off of it to put onto this mbp
the previous owner didnt have it set to boot, they had all their settings left on it and tried to edit all the names on it, had a bunch of server info and printers etc crap on it. i do not believe he edited the terminal system though--he doesnt seem to terribly bright(if thats possible)
tbh i hate lion compared to the old one i had, this one has so many more issues-overheating,fan noise, cd dvd noise

Trouble using Safari on iPad Air

Hey guys. I'm having trouble with my iPad Air. When I'm online using a web page, safari just closes down on me out of the blue and I lose all my info. At first I thought the problem occurred with one particular page, but then I got the same problem while being on random pages. The tech people at the Apple store advised me to make sure I close all apps to avoid overloading the iPad, but even so the problem persists.
Any ideas and/or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Cant use Safari 4.0.3 With Snow Leopard

Upgraded to Snow Leopard... Then I click on Safari I get this box that pops ups "You can't use this version of the application Safari with this version of Mac OS X." But I have the most current version of safari.. I try to redownload it..it says it cant be installed on this drive that it must be used with version 10.5 or newer..

Are you trying to open Safari by clicking the link on the dock? My friend had this issue on his MacBook and it was solved by removing the link from the dock and creating a new one from the Applications folder. Easy way to check if the link is the problem is by trying to open Safari directly from the Applications folder.
I'm assuming something goes wrong with the link during the upgrade process in this case.

I am having trouble using analog triggering on PFI0 with PCI-6110

I am having trouble with analog triggering. I am trying to use PFI0 as an anlog input for triggering purposes and this is on a PCI-6110 card. I am outputing a 10Hz 5Vpp triangle wave signal from an analog output channel and inputing it into PFI0. I am configuring the trigger with the code listed at the bottom. When I start the data acquisition is not triggered. If I increase the frequency up to about 480-500Hz then the trigger will start and then I can actually move the frequency back to 10Hz and it will continue to trigger. Also if I leave the code the same and the waveform the same but switch the trigger type to cwaiHWdigital then it will trigger at the 10Hz level. I suspect that this may have something to do with the coupling of the PFI0 input but I am not sure if this is the case and if it is I do not know how to configure the coupling of PFI0 in measurement studio VB. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I tried increasing the voltage and this did not seem to have nay affect on the frequency that it started triggering. I also tried to lower the trigger level. As far as trying other PFI's I dont believe I can. As fas as I can tell PFI0 is the only one that can be used as an analog input and analog trigger.
I looked at the article in the knowledge base 2ZD9B3W3 and it seems to be a similar problem. I tried to replicate the code in my program but I really have no experience with NI_DAQ function calls in visual basic so maybe I am doing it incorrectly. I did not get any errors but the NI_DAQ function calls are mixed in with CWAI measurement studio function calls so maybe when I configure cwai it resets what I have just changed with NI_DAQ. I could really use some specific direction on how to succesfully set PFI0 to DC coupling with the CWAI control or how to mix measurement studio and NI_DAQ functions.
