Trouble w Logic on Multiple Computers - Using Same Apple ID

Hello There,
I have purchased a new iMac and already have Logic Pro 9 installed and paid for on my Macbook Pro. I want to install Logic onto my new iMac but even with the same apple ID associated, the app store only gives me the option to pay for it again? Any help? Is it not recognizing that I have already bought it with that ID? Don't want to pay again for same program when all forums say I should be able to download. Thanks.

In the App Store, there is a tab labeled, "Purchases". Log on with the iMac, and you should be able to download it.

iTunes Match is associated with only one Apple ID and cannot be shared across Apple IDs. For your wife to make use of iTunes Match and see the music in the cloud she must login to your Apple ID on the iTunes Store and she will have to stay logged in. This may cause difficulty when updating apps purchased with her Apple ID.
Also keep in mind that a computer can only be associated with one Apple ID for iTunes Match, automatic downloads and re-downloading of content once every 90 days: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627.

That warning occurs only if you try to create a new Apple ID using an email address already in use. An existing Apple ID can be used with mutiple devices.

we have 2 iphone 4's synced to the same itunes account for apps and music since the day we bought them, but each has a different icloud acct. they have both been updated on the same itunes account with every update that has come out since we bought them in december of 2010. nothing on either phone has ever been lost or duplicated. having said all that, maybe i'm missing something here, but we have had no problems. we do have itunes setup to sync manually. i do believe i'm a piker compared to lawrence finch, but i'm just telling you what happens in my house. maybe check with apple? is there a store near you?

you have to go to your atv's settings and remove the sync setup with the in the atvs eyes "old" computer
before you can add the "new" computer as a sync computer
an atv can only be set to sync with 1 and it don't know the "old" computer is not just off

Sort of... you can set up a render farm using Qmaster so the files are worked on by all of your CPUs... If that's what you are talking about the answer is yes.

I have three kids with different ipod. My oldest has had hers and already has an itunes account. My other two just got theirs.When i set them up it was not able to use same apple ID (email). I just purchased this movie on Thursday, May 15, so just a few days ago. I have never had any trouble whatsoever since I have been in Vietnam. I have downloaded several movies and even music and they have all synced to my respected Apple products except for this purchase.

I would just follow the instructions from this article to give your unused 4s to your spouse. Since you have already started using your 5s, you will still be receiving iMessages on that phone and will have no need to receive them on a device that has been replaced. I think the issue is that iTunes (for whatever reason) thinks I have two Apple ID's.
also, to further complicate the issue, when i try updating the apps from my iPod the iTunes store is still recognizing my old hotmail Apple ID. So when I go to enter my password it won't accept because it doesn't match with the old Apple ID, even though it is the same account (just new Apple ID name).
I have tried signing out within the App Store and re-signing in with my Apple ID but it still brings up my old Apple ID name when I try to update.

Welcome to the Apple community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add a new account by tapping the "create Apple ID" button. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
