Trouble when sending pictures by mail from iPhoto

Hello. Recently, while sending pictures with the mail function of iPhoto 9, some pictures have been transformed in tiff format (in this case the name of the picture is becoming PastedGraphic-1 (or2, 3 etc...).tiff.
The size of these .tiff files being at least 3Mo (or more), in general my messages never arrived to their destination.
This problem is not recurent: sometimes it happens, sometimes not, and you become aware of the problem when you receive an error messge of your internet provider regarding the size of the mail you sent and was not distributed because his size.
So this is a little bit boring....
Who got the same kind of problem? is there is a solution?

The original pictures are jpg. That's making this issue a little bit mysterious..
One more thing: last time I got the problem, I was sending 7 pictures from iPhoto: two of them were compressed in jpeg, the 5 other ones in this PastedGraphic.tiff
Total weight of the message: 21,9Mo instead of 1,8Mo. That's the difference!

Have you deleted the iPhoto Preference file - A good general step for strange issues is to renew the iPhoto preference file - quit iPhoto and go to "your user name" ==> library ==> preferences ==> com.apple.iPhoto.plist and trash it - launch iPhoto which creates a fresh new default preference file and reset any personal preferences you have changed and if you have moved the iPhoto library repoint to it. in the iPhoto preferences ==> accounts delete your e-mail account and reenter it

IMHO the better solution is to set Apple mail as the email client in the iPhoto preferences

How to specify "From" address when sending Outbound e-mail from Siebel

Hi, when sending an e-mail to Outlook exchange server among all there are 2 fields: Sender and From, where Sender is an address of the profile from which e-mail will be sent and "From" address is the one that will be displayed to the receipient ("From" is not related to any profile and any e-mail address could be specified there).
My question is how can we specify this "From" address in Siebel while using standard e-mail functionality (Communications Outbound Manager sends data based on created activity record). Client wants to specify any e-mail address regardless ofcommunication profile used (which is only one).

Contact conflict when sending an e-mail from Mac

I would like to address an issue after sending an e-mail from my Mac computer. The contact changes to the previous name that I had given in the past and its being added to the new one. The result is to have a contact with many names.Is there any solution to this problem?

Since you helped me with this, maybe you can help me with one more thing. I haven't been able to attach to e-mails in this account for quite awhile now, just been using a jump drive, since a previous automatic update. I didn't obsess over it due to the fact that I could still send e-mails. Any more help you can provide is greatly appreciated!

How to set Default text when sending a blank mail from SAP

How to add Signature with company logo in the mail body.
User should see at least one default text (eg; Hi) in the mail body if the sender did not type any text in the mail body when sending a mail from SAP.
Is it possible to set like this on Subject also.

Error message when sending an e-mail from my phone

Recently, I have been un able to send e-mails from my phone. When I try to send them, almost immediately I get an e-mail from
"RIM_bca28a-e9c0-11d1-87fe-00600811c6a2"
The contents of the e-mail say:
This message is used to carry data between the BlackBerry handheld and an associated server. Please do not delete, move or respond to this message - it will be processed by the server.
There is a .DAT attachment as well.
Can anyone help me with this issue?

N8 - Can't send picture via mail from Photo apps

After setting up the default mail client on n8 (I used google mail and hotmail, they work fine), I can see the option "Send via mail" when I long-pressed any picture on Photos application. But after a while (I'm still figuring out what is the trigger), the options is gone, and the only way to make them appear is to delete the mail accounts and re-setup the accounts again.
Has anyone experience this problem?

Have you tried doing it the other way round, ie create an email and add an attachment from the email ?

i have created one procedure with 15 in parameter by which i can send mail in HTML format. due to length problem i am using 15 parameter, every parameter has length 32767, i am splitting HTML coding after every parameter length fulfilled

Be more clear in ur saying. As i understood that - is when coming to 5th parameter u r not able to access it. Is it right?

When I send a photo directly from iPhoto using the Mail app on my iMac, the wrong photo appears on my iPad2 Mail app. However the correct photo shows if I log into gmail on the iPad2. I assume there is a glitch with my "Mail" app on the iPad2.

Update: I was able to have the correct photo show in my email as received on my iPad2 by changing a setting on my IMac prior to sending the photo on the email.
On the iMac, I went into iPhoto > Preferences > Email photos using > Mail (in lieu of "iPhoto"). This seems to have corrected the issue. I'm not sure why. Now the correct photo shows up when received on my iPad2.

Send photos by e-mail from iPhoto.

I have problem to share by e-mail from iPhoto 11. I have fullly functional Mail on my macbook pro with 6th e-mail accounts. When i tryed to send some photos from iPhoto 11 i got message:
Your email did not go through because the server did not reply.
Check your Internet connection. If the connection is working properly, the email server may be down. Try sending your email again later.
Server and connection working properly and account is also OK (the same as in Mail from Mac OS X)
For me is now one resutls: I must select photos in IPhoto and export to the Desktop and after that send by attach to the Mail from MacOS-X. It works OK. But its horrible for me! Old version iPhoto 9 directly connect Email application and works OK. Help me.

You can send emails from iPhoto to Mail just like you could in the older versions
Iphoto menu -> Preferences -> General and select Mail at the 'EMail Photos Using...' dropdown

The specific text of the error message is very important here — I'm not sure exactly you're encountering here.
If you're able to connect to your email server and are able send email to other email addresses and if the failures are specific to one email recipient address, then please contact the intended recipient of the failing email, and confirm their address is valid. (This is the way I'm reading your question.)
If you are unable to send any email to any other email addresses and this is specific to your email address, then try the web mail client interface (if one is available) to verify your login user and password, and check with your email ISP for assistance. If your email password works via web mail, follow this Apple troubleshooting guide, then — if everything else fails — I'd probably then entirely remove the email account from Mail.app and re-add it per your email ISP's particular setup requirements. (Some issue with the setup or maybe a corrupt setting in OS X or a problem at the mail ISP servers is a common problem, but this effects attempts to send to all email addresses via that account.)
An email account setup is specific to an email provider, unfortunately. If you're using one of the more common email ISPs, then there are usually setup guides and frequently-asked questions posted online.
