Trouble wifi sync 2 phones 1 mac book pro

In my household there are 2 iphones but one mac book pro. We each have different profiles set up and itunes works fine. She has her itunes profile on her file and i have mine on my profile. However when i try to wifi sync it says that i cannot because " XXX mac book pro is not on"... The mac book is on on my profile, however it won't pick it up. it wants to sync on her profile which i don't understand.
Can anyone help?
Thank you in advance.

Yes you can.
You can set different content for each iphone - music, video, apps, etc.
Take a look at the iphone users guide to see how to set sync options, maybe this will help:

My iPad 2 only keeps a set number of emails for me to view eventually deleting from the screen. How do stop this as it syncs with my phone and mac book pro neither of which do this?

Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.
    Thanks

  • Cloud not synching between phone/imac/mac book pro, calendar and addresses not synching.

addresses and calendar not synching between 3 devices.. phone, iMac and mac book pro.
dates are correct, iCloud is on for those applications. etc.

Your profile shows that you are running OS X 10.6.7.  If that's true, you will need to update a iCloud requires OS X 10.7.5 or later.  If you are running a more recent version of OS X and your data still isn't syncing, check to be sure of the following:
That your Mac and iOS devices are signed into the same iCloud account and have Calendars and Contacts turned on in Settings (System Preferences)>iCloud.
That you have selected iCloud as your Default Account for contacts in Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars on your iOS devices and in Contacts (Address Book)>Preferences>General on your Macs.
That you have selected an iCloud calendar as your Default Calendar in Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars on your iOS devices and in Calendar (iCal)>Preferences>General on your Macs.

    Hi,
I cannot transfer data from my usb to my samsung galaxy note on mac book pro. Please help me solve this issue.
    Thanks

What are you trying to transfer? What does the manual say for the Samsung to get whatever data it is that you want to transfer from one device to the other? This may be something you want to ask in a Samsung forum, since you are trying to manipulate a Samsung phone.

  • HT1296 trying to sync iPhone contacts to mac book pro

I am trying to sync my iphone 5s contacts to my mac book pro. I am told to go to itunes and click the sync contacts tab but my itunes window doesnt have a sync contacts tab

I understand that there should be a 'sync' button somewhere in iCloud/calendar.
Mine doesn't have any reference at all to sync..  so how did we do that again?
I have OS X 10.9.1 on my iMac
I have apparently no other way of syncing calendars across all devices... right?
If not right, how can this be done? (since iCloud doesn't seem to have a built-in sync option...)
Before Mavericks, we did have that option, as I recall...

  • Trouble installing the latest update on Mac book pro.

My Mac book pro seems to have froze while installing latest update. Bar is not moving and it has said about 2 minutes for over a half hour. Internet is working, I sent this off my ipad on wifi. I can not bring up the task manager. Not sure what to do.

    Hi K.fioretti
Look I'm not sure if this can damage your laptop but many a times it happens with me while gaming my MacBook Pro freezes and then i just press and hold the power button for ten seconds and restart it and it just works fine for me.
In the process of updating, it never happened to freeze so it's upto you.

  • I was upset that I was having trouble with the mail on the Mac Book Pro.  I threw away the app for this.  Is there any place to get it back the computer.   I have looked for my install disks to no avail.  Is there anywhere I can download it back to my com

I threw the program away.  I need to have it on my computer.  Is there anywhere I can find the download for mail for mac.   I have looked for the install disks to no avail..  Can anyone help me?

There is nowhere that you can download it from.  You need your Mac OS X install disk.  If you can't find it, you'll need to replace it.  Then you can install Mail from that disk.

  • My iPad 1 wont sync with my computer (mac book pro).

It use to, but all of a sudden it wont.  I just comes up with an error that says "The iPad can not be synced. The required file can not be found."
I think this problem occured as the last time it synced, I pulled it off the cord without stopping the sync process.
Please let me know what can be done.

Try removing the iPod Photo Cache folder. Read this article.

  • How to sync iPhone6 contacts to mac book pro

Can anyone help me to sync the iPhone 6 contacts to Macbook Pro?

    Hello Koneti,
To get your contacts off your iPhone, take a look at the first article to get them on your MacBook Pro by using iTunes to sync them. The other option is to use iCloud to wireless do it without having to use iTunes. All you need to do that is to sign in on both your iPhone and your MacBook Pro and they will sync up. Let me know if this works or if you need further assistance.
