Trouble with a downloaded app fom app world

Dear forum members:
I've downloaded an app named PHP in 20 demo and it requires verification of my Blackberry ID to buy it but I enter the information and it gives an error of invalid Blackberry ID and I can't buy it.
Any help would be appreciated

The fact that it works at all indicates that Silverlight is working.
I would guess this is download speed or connectivity issues causing your problem.
Is there maybe a lower quality setting you can choose to reduce bandwidth you're demanding?
Are you wirelessly connecting to your router?
Drop outs from poor reception could cause that.
Move closer to or in a more direct line of sight to the router.
You can also fashion a simple reflector from tinfoil you stick behind the router and it improves the signal a bit.
( I'm not kidding ).
Or plug a network cable in. Way faster than wifi.
Could you download the entire file?

Trouble with OS X 10.3 apps?

Hello. I have an iBook G4 running 10.3. I am having trouble with the applications that are part of the OS X system. I first noticed this with iPhoto because I use it a lot. When I click the icon the program launches but will not start (proper term?) No page is displayed but I have to force quit the program. Several of the apps do this. It just came back from the computer doctor (authorized service person) and is worse. It has been upgraded, archived and installed, erased and installed. At first the apps would work after a reinstall until I shut it down. I just deleted several gigs of previous system files that were eating my hard drive space. I do have applecare and have spent quite a bit of time with tech support. I am wondering if my install disks are corrupted? Has anyone else had a similar problem?

I would suggest you try to repair permission (application / utilities / disk utility),; and then check you have the correct fonts installed in the right places - there are some documents on these forums that go through which fonts are needed (sorry, I dont know off hand where there are- try the 10.3 discussion area or FAQs)
Try those 2 things and come back and tell us if you still have the problem!

Trouble with AppBuilder for updating an app

I have created an app with a Single Edition serial number in late november.
Now I want to update the app.
But the original app did not appear anymore in AppBuilder. So i couldn't "select it and Edit it" as indicated in Step-by-step guide.
So I tried to create another app.
It worked ; I entered my serial number and got the dev app and distrib app.
Now I want to edit this app because I had to make some changes.
But I can't : when I click on the dev and distrib file, it says something like "the folio has been missing or moved".
So I can't do anything now :
- If I try to edit or remove it, I can't : "manage" button remains greyed
- If I try to create another app in App builder with a new folio exported, when i want to activate it, it says that the serial number is already in use.
What can I do?!

Single Edition customers cannot edit the app or make changes. What kind of update are you looking for? Send me a Private Message with your account details and reason for update. DPS Serial numbers are one time use serial number and re-use needs approval. In case you need an app which would need multiple updates, go in for a Creative Cloud Subscription.

I have an Ipod Touch (4th Gen) and I am having troubles with my downloads from purchasing music from the Ipod. On my downloads icon in the Itunes Store (on Ipod) there is a symbol of how many songs I still have waiting to download, but they wont download.

I have been having troubles with this for months and am extremly tired of not being able to download my songs. I bought these songs off of Itunes as well, so I really hope i can retrieve them. I do not know where to find a personal apple support person yet, does anyone know where to find one on the website?

Trouble with Adobe downloads

Greetings to all people of peace.
At this time I am having difficulty downloading all Adobe downloads. I have windows 8 and things have been very difficult since the Adobe Company changed from direct downloads to written help pages and survey questions. I find it a whole lot easier for me to just click on download and be done with it. Thanks in advance for those that mean well and are responding to actually help me.

What kind of problems/difficulties do you have with downloads? I am not sure what you mean by "since the Adobe Company changed from direct downloads to written help pages and survey questions". With Windows 8, Microsoft (not Adobe) has changed the way of downloading all software applications (not just Adobe software).
To download a Windows Store app, you can just click the Install button in the Windows store.
To download a Desktop app, you can click the "Go to publisher's website" link. It should take you to a direct download page.
Here's an example for Adobe Reader XI (desktop app).
You can also go directly to www.adobe.com and find a page to directly download Adobe software.

Trouble with Re-downloading paid apps to iphone

Hi, all my apps, paid and free are wipe out of itune after it was re-formatted. unfortunately i didn't back any of this up... I have seen answers to this question, that I can just go search for the apps of which i have previously paid for and click purchase, and it should say that it's free to re-download because i have purchased it already. But this is not showing up when i went through it through different apps. I have also made sure to logged into my account already in itunes prior to re-downloading it on my computer.Any ideas?

HT204266 I have an iPhone 4s and I have been having troubles with the downloaded apps. I have tried everything from re installation to restarting and deleting but nothing is working. When I press the icon, there is a flash and I return to my home screen.

Exactly as I mentioned above, the app just gives a flasha nd returns to the home screen, I have tried everything and nothing has really worked. Any suggestions?

Basic troubleshooting steps straight out of the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as NEW. Have you been through ALL of these steps?

Problems with iMovie downloaded from the App Store

I downloaded iMovie 11 from the App Store Yesterday. When I try to use it I get this message, "Missing QuickTime Component." "The QuickTime component necessary to view, edit, import and export MPEG2 movies is not installed." "It is included with the iMovie installed, Please re-install." I have tried to re-download it from the App Store and then get the message "Installed." I have searched the Apple site for information as to how to accomplish this to no avail. I have looked at the iMovie Help files all to no avail. Can anyone please tell me what to do to fix this. When installing from the App Store you do not seem to get a standard installer.

I have found that the physical possession of the software on a DVD or CD is a better way to go.
In the event you have a computer problem and must rebuild your system or reinstall software, it is always easier to do so if you have the physical media in your possession.
I would spend a few dollars more and purchase the iLife 11 disc.

I'm having trouble with Creative Cloud's desktop app, when I launch it it loads but it's just a blank window, can you help?

I'm trying to attach a screenshot but apparently that's against Adobe's guidelines.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled a few times today, even redownloaded the .exe from adobe. All with the same effect.
Everytime CC loads with a blank window and the only thing I can interact with is the gear icon for Help, Pin Notification, and to Quit.

Having trouble with a push to phone app?

If you have ever seen this error messages "The requested URL '/CGI/Execute' was not found on the RomPager server." you are not alone. I had this problem recently writing a python script to push a simple raw file to a phone and in my searching I have seen postings that were very similar but almost none of them had successful responses.
One of the main problems here is that the error message is fairly misleading. The root cause is how your XML needs to be written when being sent to the phone and the content-type header being used. I stumbled across this when examining a successful request from a simple HTML app and when compared to my unsuccessful python script post.
You need the content-type header to look like this: 'Content-Type':'application/x-www-form-urlencoded'.
the next part is the XML message you are pushing needs to look like this or some variation depending on the command needing to be sent: 'XML=<CiscoIPPhoneExecute><ExecuteItem Priority="0" URL="Analog1.raw"/></CiscoIPPhoneExecute>'

If the db is huge, you may want to copy it, and delete all but a few hundred rows.
Then you can play with the copy till you get the query doing what you want.

To left outer joins.
Also, just create a connection to the tblMonitorsPerFM all by itself, run a query and see if you get multiple results directly from the DB...

HT3500 Problem with Software Downloaded from Mac App Store

This morning I downloaded some software through the Mac App store for my Epson printer. Now the printer will not work and I keep getting an error message. In part, I believe it says printer filter failed. How do I fix this and get the printer to work again?

Open System Preferences > Print & Scan > Print
Select the printer then click - (minus)
Now restart your Mac, turn the printer off wait ten seconds then turn it back on.
Then go back to System Preferences > Print & Scan > Print and click + to reinstall the printer.

Trouble with airplay and NFL mobile app

I'm am trying to use the NFL mobile app to watch a game and it says to turn off airplay but I don't have the icon for it in my control panel. How do I fix this?

I should add that I'm trying to use the hdmi adapter to play the game on my tv with my iPhone.

Trouble with deploying a standlone Java app/client that calls an EJB

I am well aware that there are many topics that are quite similar to this topic that I am posting but the fact of the matter is I have failed to procure a satisfactory answer.
So a bit of background about the environment I am using. I am using Netbeans 5.5 development build, today's version, JDK 6 Build 77, and Sun Application Server 8.2 to create, run and learn J2EE 1.4 based apps following the Sun J2EE 1.4 tutorial pdf and the Netbeans 4.1 tutorial pdf which I realize is a bit outdated but it gets the job done for the most part.
I have satisfactorily created and built the Converter application as described in the above mentioned tutorial pdfs. For memory refreshment purposes, it is the simple session bean example where it is stateless and remote and has 2 business methods:

yenToEuro(BigDecimal yen)So I have this EJB being called, for learning purposes, by both a JSP and a Servlet as well as a standalone Java client. Now since the development machine is where I am deploying and running the enterprise application, everything works without a hitch. Once I have the Application server up and running I am able to access and execute the EJB's methods through JSP and Servlet even from remote machines on my home LAN. I realize that since the JSP and Servlet are in the same application context as that of the EJB I am not requiring the client jar which is where my confusion starts coming in. I know I need the client jar when I try to run the standalone java client from a different machine because it simply cannot access the EJB I have written.
Now I found this link below and I read it and sorta understand it. I also found that under C:\AppServer\domains\domain1\applications\j2eeapps\ConverterApp I see a file called ConverterAppClient.jar. Is this the so called client jar? If so how do I go about using it?
Before I end my rather long post, let me detail the steps I used to create the standlone Java client. I selected java application in the new menu of Netbeans and gave it the name ConverterClient and the IDE then proceeded to create a main class for me with a main method where I stuck in the following code:

If anyone is willing to help me, I will upload my Netbeans project files and all you have to do is open it through Netbeans 5.5 to recreate the exact scenario I am talking about.
