Trouble with accordion panel

I'm trying to put an accordion panel in a page of the website i'm creating but i've a weird problem.
First of all, this is the link of the page
http://wwwipiniriolotermeit01.businesscatalyst.com/menù.html
As you can see, when i choose one of the option of the panel, the background begin to shake.
Of course i've tried with other panels, included muse's widget but the results is the same.
Can someone help me to resolve this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much again.
Last time i've uncheck only the element of the master page's footer not the
entire "menu" page from the menù.
Now, as you say, the jittering is disappear.

Luca

  • Problem with Accordion Panels

    Hi
    I have an issue with Accordion Panels.
    http://characteraday.businesscatalyst.com/guided.html
    You can see in the link above that I have Accordion Panels on the right side that say open/close tip. The first one open and close and displays the tip. All the others do the same but when they open then push the one under it down. The first one does not do this and I like this a lot better. Any ideas how to make them all work the way the first one "Enter the Character's name" works.
    Thanks for your time.

    Modify the following line by adding the mark-up coloured red.
                      <div class="AccordionPanelContent"><span class="CollapsiblePanelContent"><img src="productimages/tinyimages/doorkitseat.jpg" width="50" height="50">The <strong>Door Insert Kit</strong> is a bathtub conversion kit. By   removing a portion of the bathtub wall and inserting a door, an existing bathtub becomes accessible, retaining its use a a bathtub. <em><a href="doorkitandseat.html"><strong>More</strong></a></em></span></div>
    I hope this helps.

  • Problem with accordion panel widget

    I'm having trouble with the top label.  All of a sudden I can't resize it and so it is much larger than it needs to be.  Not sure what happened.  I do remember working through a tutorial that had seemed like it might have had the answer but I can't find it now.  What is the dashed line that appears.
    Here's the page to my very preliminary site: http://fusion2013.businesscatalyst.com/advisory-board.html
    Thanks

    Hello,
    The dashed line only represents the length that have have defined for the text/label container.
    However, if the amount text in it increases the length of the textbox, it will increase the actual length of the box but the dotted line will signify where you have set it to stay.
    In your website, could you please check if you have some inline rectangle (invisible) added in the label box?
    Or may be have pressed ENTER/RETURN multiple times in the box?

    How to fix it?

    Hi,
    Do you want to use the update panel on application page or user control in SharePoint 2013?
    If that is the case, here is a similar thread for you to take a look at:

  • Trouble with front panel adapto

    Hi, I have a Sound Blaster Audigy (SB0090) and my front panel were connected to the motherboard because of the on-board sound card. I disconnected it from the mobo and reconnected it right in the sound card (it's the male connector from this picture: http://www.frontx.com/cpx57p2.gif). Ok, now that it's plugged in, my sound works perfect except that when I connect my headphones in the front panel, the sound keeps going to the speakers and not the headphones.
    I'd like some help with this issue. Thanks.

    KingAlex,
    There has been a lot of discussion about connecting SoundBlaster cards to the front case. A search of the forums for e.g., "front panel headphones" will bring up a long list of messages. This thread will get you started. I don't recommend any of the hacks because if done improperly, they might damage your card. The simplest and safest method is to plug into the rear LineOut/Headphone jack and route this inside the case to the front panel through an unused open card slot. Use a stereo Y-splitter if you also want to connect speakers.

  • Having trouble with flash and linking to Sliding panels - PLEASE help

    Having trouble with Sliding panels and flash. Otherwise everything works fine but when I'm trying to implement the link
    <a href="#" onclick="sp1.showPanel('panel1'); return false;">Panel1</a>
    to a flash button I get confused. I have tried following
    on (press) {
    getURL("javascript:sp1.showPanel('panel1');");
    and it did not work. What would you suggest? I am desperate. Please help me! Any suggestions are highly appreciated!!!!

    Thanks for your answer!
    I have tried both sp1.ShowPanel('panel1'); and window.sp1.ShowPanel('panel1'); they both give blank window with [object]
    I have found a solution that works in other browsers, but not in IE. Well basicly it works, but after a few clicks IE freezes.
    on (press) {
    getURL("javascript:sp1.showPanel('panel1'); void(0);");
    Would you happen to have a solution other than that? I believe that the void(0); causes the IE to freeze.

  • Slideshow Image Order of Go AND Problem with Sizing an Accordion Panel

    SLIDESHOW Is there a way to set the start, middle, and end in a slideshow? I have tried arranging the position of the triggers (nothing happened); and moving the targets in the layers panel (again, nothing happened). I would like the slideshow to begin and end with specific slides.
    ACCORDION PANEL Will not allow me to size it smaller than 962 pixels. The content area of the accordion panel is filled with one slide show per panel or tab, and I've checked all of the elements within the slideshow to make sure nothing exceeds 960 pixels. Nothing I can find exceeds 960 pixels, but when I remove all the elements from the content area, BOOM, I can make the panel any width I want.

    Slide show sorting:
    No, Mylenium, you are definitly wrong, You can choose any image order you want within slideshows:
    1. Make thumbnail temporarily visible and drag the thumnail to the position you want.
    or
    2. Identify the slides in layers panel and drag their panel entries to the position you want.
    Accordion panel:
    You can choose whatever size you want – even with a slideshow within:
    You have to make sure, that all element of the slideshow (caption, prev, next, counter) fit within the accordion panel. And – since the single accordeon panels don’t allow individual sizes – you have to make sure, that the content of every(!) accordeon panel does not exceed the size you want.

    The entire website is a series of spry tabbed panels.

    if you click on General construction tab things work ok...
    if you click on Machine control tab, mouse over doesnt work and all page content of each tab show through.
    ive been looking for the answer for 4 months with no success.
    Hope a fellow dreamwever-person can help
    Thanks Rick

    You called it: your links to the SpryAssets are linking to your hard drive, not to the files within the folder on the server.
    Correct these links:
    <script src="file:///C:/Users/work/Desktop/Sites/SpryAssets/SpryTabbedPanels.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <link href="file:///C:/Users/work/Desktop/Sites/SpryAssets/SpryTabbedPanels.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
    And you should be good to go.

    ps. If you run into more difficulties with the Spry Widgets, take your questions to the Dreamweaver Spry Forum http://forums.adobe.com/community/labs/spry, where they will get quicker attention.

  • Is the Accordion Panel Capable of Holding a Gallery (with multiple pages)?

    I'm trying to create a website similar to this: http://www.christianschmidt.com/ using the Accordion Panel. Can the panel's content panel hold javascript? I've tried several types of javascript based galleries and nothing seems to work correctly..
    the site I'm working on: www.anhstudio.com/sample
    if you have any suggestions on what javascripts I should use/work, let me know - thanks.

    I have spent a lot of time on this, mainly because the problems crops up every now and again. Unfortunately it goes above my ancient head and I have only managed to come up with a very partial solution. In the following, I have taken all of the links to JS files and moved them down to the bottom of the document.
    <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.5.2/jquery.min.js"></script>
    <script src="../SpryAssets/SpryAccordion.js"></script>
    <script src="../js/jquery.ui.widget.js"></script>
    <script src="../SpryAssets/SpryDOMUtils.js"></script>
    <script src="../js/jquery.smoothDivScroll-1.1-min.js"></script>
    <script>
    var nav = new Spry.Widget.Accordion("nav", {defaultPanel: -1});
    Spry.$$('.AccordionPanelTab').addEventListener('click',function(){
        Spry.$$(".AccordionPanelOpen").forEach(function() {
            $("div#makeMeScrollable").smoothDivScroll({
                autoScroll: "onstart",
                autoScrollDirection: "backandforth",
                autoScrollStep: 1,
                autoScrollInterval: 12,
                startAtElementId: "startAtMe",
                visibleHotSpots: "always"
    </script>
    If you click the first tab first, you will see it working. Alas, if you happen to click any other tab first, it will not work.

  • How can I use the accordion panel widget with a footer?

    Hi,
    My question is may be not clear. So I'm gonna be more specific. I'm using a menu for my website with the accordion panel widget. The menu is working fine and when I'm opening it, it pushs the items below on the pages.
    My problem is with the footer of the page. Because, when the items below the widgets are pushed, they go below the footer and the footer is not pushed.
    Is there any way to pushe the footer when I use the accordion widget? I don t want to overlap it.

    I assume this is what you want to achieve in the footer....
    Make sure in Muse before you export that the panel is closed, and also as Brad suggested, make sure Overlap Items Below is unchecked. I would also check the "Can Close All" button.

  • Start with all Accordion panels closed with variable height panels

    I inserted a Spry Accordion on this page: http://www.brucebarrdesign.com/video_new.htm
    I want the panels to open to a size depending upon the content within them so I set the height to auto. The problem is that when you go to the page, the first panel is open. I want all of the panels to be closed when you first go to the page. Per the Help docs and some posts I've seen in the forum, I tried inserting this code:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    var acc1 = new Spry.Widget.Accordion("Acc1", { useFixedPanelHeights: false, defaultPanel: -1 });
    </script>
    However, this only works with fixed height panels. If I use it with the variable height, it opens all of them, so I commented it out for now. How can I get this to work?
    Thanks

    I located the answer to my own question (how to get all the accordion panels to remain closed when the browser opens) but I still don't understand the answer. Can someone explain this?
    This feature is only supported when using variable height panels, so you must pass a false into the Accordion's constructor for the "useFixedPanelHeights" constructor options, and a -1 for the "defaultPanel" option:
    <script type="test/javascript">
    var acc1 = new Spry.Widget.Accordion ("Acc1", { useFixPanelHeights: false, defaultPanel: -1});
    </script>
    Angela
    Hi Angela,
    You are right, the only way it will work is by setting the fixed height to false. As for the for the default panel option, -1 is not a panel and if you had 3 panels we could have used the number 3 (panel1 = 0) or 99 or whatever as long as there is no panel with that number. If we had used the number 1 for instance, then the 2nd panel would be opened by default.
    Hope this helps.

  • Spry accordion panel not lining up with top of viewport in FF3.5

    I have created a new web page using spry accordion for the first time on my site. In IE8 all works perfectly - opening and closing and moving between tabs is smoothly done. My first tab opens a very long panel (way over the web browser's height), and scrolling down through the text brings us to the second tab. I disabled fixed panel heights  - these expand fully when the relevent header is clicked. Clicking the second tab in IE8 closes the first panel smoothly, opens the second panel smoothly and leaves the browser sitting so the 2nd tab is in line with the top of the browser window. Perfect!
    In FF3.5, following the same routine, with the first panel open, and scrolling down to the 2nd tab - click this and it closes/opens the panels, but is very jerky doing this and you are left with the browser window looking at the very bottom of the web page, instead of at the top of the panel.
    I'd appreciate any advice on this before I give up and move to JQuery. Is this a bug?
    **UPDATE** I tried Jquery and the results are worse! It doesnt even line up in IE8.
    Please feel free to check out the code here:

    so take an anchor at the begining of the Accordian panle, link the <a> tag to the anchor point.

  • Strange issue with Spry Accordion Panels

    Hi, I'm having some strange issues with the Spry Accordion
    Panels.
    Here is the page:
    http://www.bellaclientcenter.com/browncollege/aboutus.html
    For some reason when I preview this message it adds extra
    characters to the url above, so just delete those off to see the
    correct url.
    The only browser this does NOT happen in is safari, I'm
    seeing it all of my other browsers. You'll notice when you first
    load up the page, you'll see that the active panel header
    background is green, and the non active is a dark grey. But when
    you click one of the other panels they all turn a strange neon blue
    color. This is very apparent in firefox.
    Any thoughts on this? I've attached the spry css code in case
    the problem is there.

  • Problem with Accordion Widget INSIDE Sliding Panel Widget

    Hello,
    perhaps I should not do this, but I nested an Accordion
    Widget inside a Sliding Panels Widget:
    - There are eight Panels.
    - Each one contains a complete Accordion.
    The sliding works fine, and so does the Accordion animation,
    but the text inside the Accordion Panel Tabs won't move along, when
    a tab is activated. I need to hover the mouse over the accordion to
    make the panel texts appear again.
    Of course, when I un-nest the widgets and move the Accordion
    widget out of the Sliding Panel widget, everything is fine.
    My question is:
    - am I demanding "too much" by nesting the widgets?
    - or should this basically work, and the problem arises from
    rivalling scripts?
    Here is a link:
    Nested
    widgets Test
    The horizontal top menu will activate the sliding panels, but
    as of now only the leftmost menu item contains an Accordion (I know
    the CSS does not look nice yet).
    Is there anything I can optimise to get this to work?
    Thank you so much,
    Greetings, Jensen
    Edit: The problem does NOT occur in Firefox, but in
    Safari.

    Hi John,
    That is the expected behavior if the "Overlap items below" is unchecked. Please refer to the following link http://screencasteu.worldsecuresystems.com/aish/2013-08-21_1947.png. If you don't want the page to wiggle up and down, please check the box shown in the screenshot.

  • Having trouble trying to link to an accordion panel on the same page

    Hello all,
    I've been following instructions on
    http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/samples/accordion/AccordionSample.html#EnablingKey boardNavigation
    to try to link to/open a specific panel in an accordion panel from a menu on the same page, but it's not working. Could somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong? My page-in-progress is:

    1. Remove the constructor in the HEAD section of your document
    var acc1 = new Spry.Widget.Accordion("SpryAccordion1", { useFixedPanelHeights: false });
    2. Change the HTML markup to the following
    <ul>
      <li><a href="#" onclick="Accordion1.openPanel(0); return false;"> how <span class="title">You've Got Rhythm</span> works</a></li>
      <li><a href="#" onclick="Accordion1.openPanel(1); return false;">sample pages</a></li>
