Trouble with activation of iCloud Keychain

I cant activate keychain on all my devices (Mac,iPad,iPhone). a fill all steps and then nothing. After fill  code from SMS, it starts loading and nothing else. And that issue have all devices on this iCloud account.

If problem is recent - check it out, judging by your name that may be the reason.

    It may take a while becuse millions of people are doing it at the same time. Patience young grasshopper. Try restarting the phone and then try activating again. It took mine a good long time before the activation completed successfully

    For the ones that give you an option, select the option you want (keep on the Mac or Delete). For the ones that are simply warning you, click on Delete from Mac.
    They will all come back when you sign back on, since all you did was change your existing Apple ID to a new email address. It's the same iCloud account, just with a different name.
    It's the only way to get your updated ID signed onto iCloud.

    Is anyone having trouble with email via iCloud?  I'm not getting it on any of my devices, iPhone, Mac ... even the iCloud website.

    yes!  just loaded mountain lion yesterday beacuse my mail server was acting up and i thought it would help. now its worse, apple mail is giving me error messages, cant connect to server.  i can get emails but can not send out. everytime i open the program it takes a VERY long time to load.  thanks apple, great job!

    I also don't know the answers to my security questions. I spoke with iCloud support on the phone for about an hour, but we got locked out of my account and they eventually encouraged me to check if I could log into old devices (I now know I can't-they've either been sold or are not using iCloud keychain).
    Anybody think they can help? I don't want to have to set up a new iCloud account.

    If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID.
    This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
    However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
    The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device.
    You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

  • When I first activated the iCloud keychain it was working great. But now it doesn't seem to be working on my iPod or iPads, i.e.: a wifi password it was able to use a few days ago over all devices now will only automatically work on the MacBook?

    When I first activated iCloud keychain on my stuff (MacBook Pro, iPod and 2 iPads) it was working great and the all logged in to a wifi network that I had only used the password for on the MacBook. But yesterday the others all started asking for the password again (which I unfortunately don't remember and the friend who had it has recentlly had a stroke and also cannot remember it). I've tried turning iCloud keychain off and then back on again, but to no avail. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

  • How can I figure out what my password is and keep it unlocked?  Every time I do a system update, it requires the password and sends me into cyber trouble with the remember my keychain access, requiring it every time I log in.  A real hassle to be avoided

    How can I find out what my password on the computer is?  I had to change it due to my teenagers helping themselves, and now every time there is a system update, I have to have the password, which I cannot remember or find.  It then wants it every time I log in and pops up Key Chain Access as well.  Very annoying.  I do not have the disc to reload it and fear I would loose everything on my computer as there is also trouble with the back up system.  Too many issues and not enough solutions.  Many thanks in advance!

    Why not?  You need your system dvds to troubleshoot & to reset/change passwords in view of your current OS listed in your  profile. 
    You can get replacement System Install & Restore CD/DVDs from Apple's Customer Support - in the US, (800) 767-2775 - for a nominal S&H fee. You'll need to have the model and/or serial number of your Mac available.

    I have to have the password, which I cannot remember or find.
    When selecting passwords, make sure it's one that you will NEVER forget AND no one else can figure out. 
    Old school--- > Print it out & keep in a safe place.  A place that ONLY you know about AND never forget.
    New school---> Get a password manager utility.  Highly recommend 1Password which is shareware.  Do a Google search for free password managers.

  • Trouble with login password in Keychain Access

    Since upgrading to Snow Leopard, my "Login Password" seems to have changed. Not my account password, thankfully, but the Keychain Access Login Password that enables me to access my Login Keychain. I certainly did not change it, but the password I used in 10.5.8 doesn't work anymore. This has actually happened on two different machines
    I tried the 'First Aid' function in Keychain Access and got this error message:
    Checked password for ~/Library/Keychains/login.keychain
    *Password for ~/Library/Keychains/login.keychain is not the same as login password*, so keychain can't be unlocked automatically
    Login password could not be synchronized with keychain ~/Library/Keychains/login.keychain (-128)
    Unable to read settings for ~/Library/Keychains/login.keychain
    Okay, so how can the Password for the Login Keychain be different from the, uh, Login Password?!?!
    Is there any way to reset a Login Password, or do I just have to start a new one from scratch (really don't want to have to do that)?

    the password for any keychain can be set to anything you want. by default the password for you login keychain is set to be the same as you account password but that's done just for your convenience so that it can be unlocked automatically when you log in. those passwords are completely independent otherwise. changing one has no effect on the other. that said, unless you changed the account password or the keychain password yourself what you are seeing should not be happening.
    did you change your account password? if not your keychain could be corrupt.
    in Keychain Access is your login keychain locked? if it is select it and click on the lock above. if the keychain works ok it should ask you for the keychain password to unlock it. does it work?

    I have just gotten a Iphone 4 16gb from my friend because I lost my droid. I went through the activation process, and when I got to the last page it said "Cannot load page"I reloaded the page and it still wouldn't load the page.The phone still says its not activated. Anybody know what the problem is.

If it was a 4G LTE droid, then you would likely have to have us assist with the activation since the iPhone 4 is not a 4G device, we would have to deactivate the SIM card that was in your android device.     I bought an iPhone 5 off eBay and it's wiped and reset and everything but when I went to activate it on iTunes it said it was registered to a different Apple ID. Is there any way around this? I have no way of contacting the previous owner, and I doubt they'ed give me that information if I could.

    You are experiencing Activation Lock.  If the previous owner will not remove the device from their account there is nothing you can do unless the place you purchased it from will give you a refund. (Look for Buyer Protection on Ebay)

  • HT4759 Trouble with my iPhone/iCloud

    My phone has not backed up automatically to iCloud in 3-4 months.  I've tried the chat option on the support site as well as spokes with customer support.  The last support I got was AWFUL!!  She told me all about how her friends phones have the same issue mine has and how even her phone, not an iPhone, does the same thing.  Then told me that since my home computer uses Microsoft XP that my iCloud won't work.  That's not correct is it since I have an iPhone it should work via that?
    I keep getting pop up messages that say my storage is almost full and to manage storage in settings.  I have 10.6GB remaining in my iCloud storage so I don't know what's going on.  I have a 32GB iPhone with only about 35 apps on it so it shouldn't be full and I have no songs on it either.  On top of all this I keep getting kicked out of apps and back to my home screen, and more...
    Any help?

    I understand the support person was correct in part of her statement.  However it's my phone that isn't backing up and I could care less if I can access iCloud from my computer at this moment.  But I don't think it's a correct statement to say that my phone won't back up becuase my computer doesn't have Vista. 
    I only have about 250 photos and 5 videos on my phone and no songs or anything like that via iTunes at this point.  My phone was backing up on it's own when home and on wifi up untiil April 24th (I bought the phone in Feburary).  I believe it was around this time I updated to the newest operating system and since then it hasn't backed up via wifi, on it's own or manually.  My home computer and software there haven't changed.  I may be wrong in my assumption of this, I know virtually nothing about iPhone's nor computers for that matter, so maybe my home system does make a difference however I can't understand why at this point. 
    My first experience with support they had me delete my backup and restart it but that didn't help either.  While waiting for the manual iTunes backup we ended our original call (with a support person who seemed knowledgeable) and I was told I'd get a call back in half an hour when my phone had finished the backup to try more options for fixing it.  I waited an hour and got no call so I called them myself and got the second person who was terrible!!
    Thank you for taking the time to write back and for your advice.  I believe I have tried most of it and may just have to take my phone to a store in Houston (a 2 hour drive) to get looked at.

  • Troubles with activating trial version of illustrator CC

    I know this question came up many times, but none of the answers posted fix my problem.
    I'm using CC account from my work, we have a business pay monthly plan. Therefore we don't have actual serial number, but various CC programmes have been installed on various work computers and they work in full version, as they should on a monthly subscription basis. However when I downloaded Creative Cloud on my computer and then proceeded to download Illustrator I can only choose trial. I initially did download the trial, thinking it will activate once I open Illustrator but it asked me to activate the product by inserting serial number. Proposed solutions I found, like clicking 'License This Software' and then clicking sign in and signing with my account, don't work and every time I just get taken to the insert serial window. We thought it might be some error so I uninstalled Illustrator and downloaded it again and then it didn't even give me trial, it straight away tells me that trial has expired (earlier I had 26days left) and I should buy the product, which, when I click it, takes me to the website with subscription plans. Now I tried uninstalling and installing again, uninstalling whole creative cloud software and installing again, downloading Illustrator from scratch and it doesn't fix anything. I also tried logging in on another account and the same thing happens. I'm on mac, running OS X 10.9.5.

  • Trouble with Activating Trial vs CS5.5

    My hard drive crashed and I lost my CS5.5,  thanks to the community I was able to download a trial version on my new hard drive. The problem is that Adobe is recognizing my serial number as an upgrade version, which at the time I purchased it was not what I thought I was buying.  I was running CS2 and they could not or would not up- grade from that series.  So when I try to activate the trial verson with my CS5.5 serial number,  I get a window that opens and doesn't recognize my CS2 serial number as valid,( there is no option for CS2)   So trying the other option of clicking the buying button, I 'm informed that It's no longer availabe. 
    I tried calling  Adobe and the women I spoke to, told me that they did upgrade from CS2 and that's why I had that product.  She tried to turn me over to the tech support,  but after a long wait on hold, I gave up waiting.  So how do I resolve this loop?  I no longer have CS2 on my new hard drive because of the crash, and I'm not sure if I still have the software.  I'm sure I paid for the full version of CS5.5.  And the days are counting down on my trial version.

    I'm not sure how this helps. I went to the web page found the cs2 serial number.  when the window came up to activate the trial version, it looked for an older versions  to upgrade,  and of course mine has been lost, and it dosen't have CS2 on the activate window.  I inserted the new serial number from the sight but nothing happened.
