Trouble with compressor 1.2.1 update

My Mac update software always ask me to install compressor 1.2.1, I install the update but when I relunch the software upadate it ask me again to install compressor 1.2.1! What's wrong?

Seems to be a problem with my system also. What the **** Apple? Can they please address the problem?
And when I try to run the freakin Compressor program, it shows up with an error message saying "Configuration error - This software requires certain hardware or software which is missing. -AGP graphics card." I have to click the "Quit" button everytime.

After reading your post, it sounds like you are experiencing an error with Safari. You may want to consider resetting your device, which is different from restarting. This article provides detailed instructions for Restarting, and Reseting:
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
How to restart
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
How to reset
You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Trouble with Compressor/Batch

I had a huge problem with Compressor yesterday. When setting up a batch encode I have trouble getting back to FCP (6.05) to get my files to complete my batch. I use a shortcut button from my button list as opposed to file>export to when I do this most times I will end up with a spinning ball and when I try force quitting it says FCP is not responding. I have a Quad 2.8 .

Troubles with IdeaTab S6000-H firmware update

Hi to everybody!
A few days ago a firmware update message appeared in the status bar. I had downloaded S6000_A422_001_014_130717_WW_SMS_TO_S6000_A422_101_016_130906_WW_SMS file (approx.76 MB) and started an installation. But this installation aborted with the following message:
Installing update...
Reverting current system by Set CountryCode...
Verifying current system...

Can anybody tell me what it means and what should I do to update my tab firmware?!

I did it four times. Every time it downloaded successfully but then an installation was aborted again with the same warning message. Last time I entered the recovery menu and proceeded "wipe data/ factory mode" and after this I tried again the update redownloading, but - unfortunately! - with the same result...

My music and playlists were wiped out. THen I tried to sync my iPhone and it tried to wipe out everything on there with the new iPhone software update.

Typically one buys an external hard drive and at regular intervals you copy the contents of your main hard drive to the external hard drive in case something happens to the contents on the internal drive. That is a backup. There is software to facilitate this, including Time Machine which is part of the system software OSX 10.5 on. If you don't have this then it's like owning a house without insurance.
An external drive costs around $100 so it is cheap given the high degree of inconvenience caused by losing the contents on your main drive. Your main drive will fail at some stage and then you lose everything, 100%.
If your library truly is gone then you will have to start over. iTunes is not supposed to erase it when updating but it does happen occasionally which is why you always make sure your backup is up to date before updating software. If your items are purchased from Apple you may be able to download them again. If it came from another source then you will have to turn to that source.

Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can re-download your available previous purchases.

This is my second ipod after my old one went dumb. Anyway, this is my second time updating my ipod and I updated the latest version of itunes. 6.0.5 and it works perfectly. I also downloaded the newest ipod updater. 2006-06-28. So, I plug my ipod in and click on the updater thing and it gives me the error: "Ipod service error" WHAT ON EARTH DOES THAT MEAN??? This is a totally new ipod and it's not updating. Ok, so, then I open itunes and it says: "The software required for communicating with the iPod is not installed correctly. Please reinstall itunes to install the ipod's software." So, I reinstall itunes again. five times to be exact. Does anyone know what's wrong with this thing? HELP ME PLEASE!!! thanks!

works... the error means there is a software conflict
with the ipod service. it happens.
I have been to "this document" followed all of the steps as well as the 43 steps to uninstall itunes/ipod completely, nothing seems to work so far. Turned off virus protection, viewed hidden files, installed, reinstalled...blah, blah, blah. There have been so many problems on the message boards that itunes needs to do another update and correct these issues. This is my third ipod so I am not new to their software updates, but this 5th generation is somewhat of a disappointment.
Some of you guys have been lucky enough to do the updates and have your ipods noticed by the itunes software, be thankful, for there is always a next time and it may just be your turn to be as frustrated as the rest of us.

Trouble with ä,ö,ü in Music Manager after updating...

Hi, it seems there is a bug in the Nokia Music Manager after updating the PC Suite to version 7.1.26.0. The german special characters (Umlaute) like ä, ö, ü, ß are no more correctly saved or displayed in the file names and tags.

Troubles with the Safari 4.1 update

I just downloaded the Safari update and it doesn't launch at all. No window at all. I have to use Firefox if I want to use the Internet. Anyone know what's wrong. I'm afraid to update from now on because it turns out to be worse.

I just updated the computer and now Safari will not open for network users -- it works fine when I log on locally. I have cleared any and all caches and preferences I have found relating to Safari. Below is the report. Please help!

Trouble with 12.2 Srvc Pack Update

Hi,
I have 12.1.0.892 and installed the CrystalReports 12.2 update. It appeared to finish successfully. However, when I open Crystal to verify it's version #, the version is still 12.1.0.892.
I also can not install any of the the Srvc Pack 2 Hot Fixes (Error: "Crystal reports 2008 SP1 FP 2.1 Update can not install because the version of the product on the system is too low.").
When I go to Programs and Features, I have the followin installed:
- Crystal Reports 2008 Runtime SP2
- Crystal Reports 2008 SP1
as a side note, for other reasons I can't just go with a 12.3 full build install. This version's runtime conflicts with our back office apps.
So, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or need to do to get Srvc pack 2 to work correctly?

Depends, where did you download the Fix Pack from and what is the name of it? Could be you are applying a BOE fix pack from Service Market Place or if you have runtime installed for that other program the installer may be seeing it and determining the version it is using is higher so the FP won't over write that version.
Search Microsoft's site on how to enable MSIEXEC logging. then run the FP again and see if the logs indicate what CR is finding.
Also, CR and applications use the same shared folders, so you may have been using a set of updated dll's.
I suggest you contact the makers of that program and ask them for help to upgrade. If may be what you are doing is going to break their app. They should be able to test it for you.
Is there a specific reason you need to get to SP 2 and that fix pack?

Trouble with phone ever since Denim update on Lumi...

Ever since my phone did the latest update, it has a mind of it's own. Cortana pops up for no reason, it freezes, and sometimes it acts like someone else is in control of my phone, opening apps that I didn't even touch, sliding the screen up and down. I am really getting frustrated with it. I even did a factory reset on my phone and it is still doing the same things, if not worse. Sometimes I have restart my phone 5-6 times in a row to get it to act 'normal' for at least a few minutes. Has anyone else been having these problems?

This problem has been reported numerous times on multiple sites and there is no resolution that I am aware of. Have tried it all. Lumia recovery, reduce sensitivity, disable background apps, disable glance screen etc etc. There are a fair number of users stating that this started after update so either we are all extremely unlucky to have hardware faults occur at the same point as an update or this is a software issue. Seems to me that there are too many people reporting this at point of software update for it to be a coincidence. Also its so random, sometimes get a few hours with no issues and others freezes several times an hour. Often putting the phone to stand by and back fixes the issue so not sure how this could be a problem with the digitizer. I love windows phone OS but this is the first phone I've had in a long long time to have problems and it has seriously put me off buying another keep hoping an update will be released to fix this but nobody seems to have any idea what is causing this so not very hopeful on that. Again there are far too many reports of this for it to be considered the users fault and yet they want us to pay to send it away. I've taken very good care of my phone and it doesn't have a mark on it so if this is a hardware issue it must be a design flaw. Totally gutted and my phone is barely useable at times.

Trouble with acrobat 8.1.7 update

I downlod the last update for acrobat pro 8.1.7, no problem for install, but after running acrobat it is impossible to print any docs (under acrobat) ? Window XP switch on DEP (Data Execution Prevention) and even I try to remove DEP the problem is the same. Is someone have the seame thing with this update ?

The DEP error occur when I have clcked OK on the print dialog, little print window appear in %, stay about 5 s at 0% than the DEP occur.
So I tell you that, but I have installed the 9th Acrobat version .... no printer error nor DEP !!!

Anyone have trouble with phone crashing after Facebook update today?

After pressing the update button for the Facebook app this morning, I set the phone down. A few minutes later I picked it up and the phone didn't work at all. It's as if there is no power to the phone. The screen is black. I can't get it to power on. It doesn't register when the phone is plugged in to charge. Nothing. Dead. Help. Please!

Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)
