Trouble with custom viewer for Android

Hello, I have created a Custom Content Viewer for Android using Viewer Builder 1.5.1. After building the Content Viewer I sideloaded, v15 Android.apk and tested it on a Samsung Galaxy tab. It shows the empty gray viewer with no content.
Is there something that I may have not done correctly with the android app? I want to test my viewer locally. I have uploaded folio with the same adobe Id, which I have used to create my content viewer but not able to find my content on tab.
I have professional account for DPS, how to get "Sign In" button for my Content viewer and test it before uploading it to Android market? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanx in advance
Kundan

Got it. I tried booting with MOD_AUTOLOAD set to yes, and it was working fine. Looks like I needed to specify some more modules in my list.

  • Trouble with custom kernel for EeePC 1000H and bluetooth

I believe I've got pretty much everything working on my 1000H except for bluetooth. I can't seem to get the hardware working. The module is loaded, and dmesg has references to bluetooth, but blueman does not list the adapter, and running "hcitool scan" from the command line returns "Device is not available: No such device".
I've enabled every bluetooth-related item I can find in the kernel, so I don't see what I'm missing. I did import the config from the stock kernel, where bluetooth was working fine.

Do you even know how to nuke and re-set Photoshop's preferences, colorplak?  Your last post seems to reveal that you don't understand what I'm talking about. Here's a link you can click on:
Preference file functions, names, locations | Photoshop CC
To re-create the preferences files for Photoshop, start the application while holding down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"
Note: If this process doesn't work for you while you're using a wireless (bluetooth) keyboard, attach a wired keyboard and retry.
Important: If you re-create the preferences by deleting the Adobe Photoshop CC Settings file, make sure that you only delete that file. If you delete the entire settings folder, you also delete any unsaved actions or presets.
Reinstalling Photoshop does not remove the preferences file. Before reinstalling Photoshop, re-create your preferences.
Note for Photoshop 14.1 and later: If you use Generator and reset your Preferences, Generator is disabled. Choose Preferences > Plug-ins to turn it back on.
Video: Julieanne Kost created a video that takes you through two ways of resetting your Photoshop preferences. The manual preference file removal method is between 0:00 - 5:05. The keyboard shortcut method is between 5:05 - 8:18. The video is located here.
    Mac OS
Important: Apple made the user library folder hidden by default with the release of Mac OS X 10.7. If you require access to files in the hidden library folder to perform Adobe-related troubleshooting, see How to access hidden user library files.

Yes, the file extension is M4R.  Does it matter where I save these files on my Macbook?  I then opened them in Itunes and played them.  I did find the Tones folder in Itunes but the Tones or Ringtones tab does not show up when I select Iphone (within Itunes).  When I open the Tones folder in the Library, it is empty.  Thanks in advance for your help.

Anyone having trouble with iPad app for Comcast?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
    Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
    from the menu bar.
Enter the name of the crashed application or process in the Filter text field. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
    Step 2
In the Console window, look under User Diagnostic Reports (not "Diagnostic and Usage Messages") for crash reports related to the crashed process. The report name starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report and post the entire contents—again, the text, not a screenshot. I know the report is long. Please post all of it anyway.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful.

I have shared Contacts and Journals with other users.
I have a custom View for each, how do I share the "View"?

    Hi,
Custom view won't be shared when you share your Contacts or Journals. You'll need to copy the views you want to share to a pst-file and then share the pst file to others.
To do this, please refer to the following link and look at the "Method 3: Copy views to a Views_backup.pst" section:

  • Adobe Content Viewer for Android?

Anyone knows if the current version of the Adobe Content Viewer for Android is the final one? Some features that work in the iPad just won't work in the Sony Tablet S.
    Thanks in advance!
    al3nai

Installation works flawlessly. So far I've only been testing with the normal desktop preview. Now I wanna try the preview function for android (I think the previous version didn't work, right?) from the folio overlay panel but I cannot seem to find my Nexus 10 device even though I am logged in with the same account on both InDesign and the Nexus 10. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?
Nevermind I got it to work. But how do I update my folio once I uploaded it to the folio producer?
Also there's something that I'd like to achieve now.
The content viewer browser version (checked via whatismybrowser.com) is:
    Chrome 30
    Version 3.0.0.0
    Webkit 537.36
    The installed chrome is:
    Chrome 32
    Version 32.0.1700.99
    Webkit 537.36
The 32 version has WebGL enabled or rather it works better. By default only the normal WebGL features are enabled in Chrome. The experimental WebGL features (found under chrome://flags/) have to be activated manually. I suppose the WebM view of the viewer doesn't have these enabled. Can I enable these fancy features somehow?

  • [SOLVED] Lousy fonts with .chm viewer for Linux

I installed the .chm file viewer HelpExplorer 3.0 in both Windows XP and Arch Linux (chm = compiled HTML help file).  In Windows XP, with default fonts installed, the fonts in text read with this viewer appear crisp, sharp and anti-aliased.  In Arch with KDE 3.5.7, on the other hand, the fonts appear fuzzy, grainy and don't seem to be anti-aliased, in contrast with their appearance in all other apps (except for a few such as Dillo) which render text good-looking, sharp and anti-aliased.
HelpExplorer for Linux was provided as a tarball that included a precompiled 'helpexplorer' binary.  The program doesn't seem to allow for customizing font settings.
The following fonts are installed in Arch (in /usr/share/fonts/):
    ttf-bitstream-vera-1.10-5 is installed by default

What do I need to do to improve the font appearance in this program in Linux?
Last edited by RobF (2007-10-02 18:06:46)

I found a solution of sorts by installing and running the Windows version of HelpExplorer in Wine or Crossover.  There is still very little control over fonts but when I enlarge the default font (with 2x CTRL-+) I do get a nice-looking anti-aliased Times New Roman font, and this solution would be my preferred way of reading .chm files in Linux (i.e. better than KchmViewer or Xchm).
    Recap of the problem:
    1. The .chm viewer HelpExplorer Viewer 3.0 when installed in Windows XP renders fonts crisp and clear and anti-aliased.
    2. The Linux version of HelpExplorer Viewer 3.0 (delivered as a precompiled executable in a tarball) doesn't render fonts antialiased, regardless of what I tried, and they look grainy and unattractive.
    3. The Windows version of HelpExplorer Viewer 3.0 when installed and run in Arch in Wine or Crossover does render the default font they offer (looks like Times New Roman) fairly crisp and clear and anti-aliased, at least at the enlarged setting.
Can someone explain to me what might be going on?  Why is it that the Linux version cannot render fonts anti-aliased when the Windows version running in the emulator in Linux can?  Is there something that I have to change in my fonts config, fonts location, symlinks or path to get the anti-aliased fonts to work in HelpExplorer in Linux?

  • Adobe Viewer for Android Phone

    Hi guys,
The Adobe Content Viewer from Google Play (May 1, 2013) is both compatible and works fine on my Nexus 4 phone. We understand that adding the Android phone compatibility might cause poor app rating as the buttons/controls will be hard to tap on the smaller screens. But publisher could add these limitations to the app description. So my question is if support for Android phones could be added to the custom viewer as an optional feature checkbox, please.
    Thank you,
    Gennady

    Hi Gennady,
You won't see support for Android phones until we have our new, native Android, viewer available later this year.

  • Can't create a new account at ePrintCenter - trouble with the server for 2 weeks.

Hi. I'm trying to create an account at ePrintCenter and all the time getting mesage 'Возникла проблема с сервером. Проблема будет устранена в ближайшее время. Приносим извинения за неудобства.' (A trouble with the server, wait, bla bla bla). When will it be fixed?

For those who are experiencing ongoing issues with their web services, you can attempt to try the following steps that may help resolve your problems.
1.) Completely shut down your printer and restart it
2.) If you have prints that have not printed, log into ePrint Center (or create an account if you do not have one) and then look for your printer status. If printer status is green but you still have pending jobs, delete the pending jobs one at a time (Starting with the oldest first). There may be a print job stuck in the queue that further restricts other jobs from completing.
    a. If option 1 or 2 above still doesn’t work, removing web services and re-adding web services will cause the printer to reattach to the cloud.
    b. Please note that if you attempt option 3, you will get a new eprint email address (and lose your custom one with no ability to get it back) furthermore, you will need to re-add your printer back to your ePC account.

  • Trouble with Materialized View

    Hello,
I'm in need of some help enforcing data integrity using a materialized view. In my example, each system may consist of three types of components and this is modeled using supertype/subtype relationships. I'm trying to enforce that, for a given system, a component cannot reside in more than one component table. For example, given System 1, if Component A exists in the mobile_components table, it cannot be inserted into the desktop_components table for System 1. Rather than using triggers, I'm attempting to use a materialized view with unique constraint to enforce this rule based on the example from Tom Kyte's "The Trouble With Triggers" article http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/issue-archive/2008/08-sep/o58asktom-101055.html. However, I can't seem to get it to work as it gives me ORA-12054: Cannot set the ON COMMIT refresh attribute.  I'm using UNION ALL, and I know that can be tricky, but I can't figure out what rules I'm breaking.  I have the necessary privileges.  Oracle 11g.  Can anyone help?
    Thanks,
    Mark

    alter table mv_components add constraint mv_comp_uk unique (comp_id, comp_name);

You need a marker column to distinguish which of your queries you union, that data came from:
    e.g.
    create materialized view mv_components
refresh fast on commit with rowid as
    select 'a' marker,rowid as row_id, mo_comp_id as comp_id, mo_comp_name as comp_name
    from mobile_components
    union all
    select 'b',rowid, de_comp_id, de_comp_name
    from desktop_components
    union all
    select 'c', rowid, in_comp_id, in_comp_name
    from internet_components;

  • ArchWiki Viewer for Android

This is something I mentioned a while back and I finally put it together.
The application is very simple. Basically it grabs pages from the wiki online, then replaces the css with my own, which is used to hide parts of the page that are not essential to the content. The result is a clutter free viewer for reading and searching the contents of our beloved ArchWiki. It is a dedicated reader as the full function of the wiki (editing, viewing changes, etc) can still be accessed through the standard Android browser. For the time being, it's (mostly) English only. However, I haven't figured out how to filter other languages out of the search results.
This is my first Android application and I intend to update it based on feedback, so expect frequent updates for the time being. If you have any input, please leave it in this thread or email me at the address listed in the Play store.
The source is available on my github.

    2) Dark CSS theme please
Very nice app otherwise.  (I'll test it on my old LG Ally if I can find the thing ...)
I'll look into the title bar. It should scale to the screen size, but I can see how it might be too big on smaller screens. (Most of my testing is done on Nexus 7.)
Not allowing it to zoom out further was intentional. I don't think it would be readable if the text was any smaller. Please tell me if you feel differently.
Dark css might be something that I look into down the road, but for now I want to focus on making the core functions work before I add any "unnecessary" complexity.

99% of the page content will be formatted to the screen size. Most pages don't have the white space on the side. The ones that do, for example the Beginner's Guide, have a portion of text formatted as "code" which never wraps the text by design. I'll play with the css to see if I can force it to wrap in a way that makes it clear that it's a continuation of the previous line. I'm not sure if it's possible though.
EDIT: Dumb. Of course this is possible.
Thanks for the compliments guys. If you like the app, please don't be afraid to leave a rating in the Play store

  • Having trouble with custom web auth page on 4404

    Hi all
I am having trouble with a custom web auth page on my controller, we have edited the original file, but when we click login it goes to page cannot be displayed and it doesnt redirect to the page I want, however when I close the window and reopen it has already authenticated me.
Has anyone got a copy of some working html code I can use ?
    cheers

There is sample Web Authentication bundle avaiable for download from cisco.com. if you go to the software download page and go to Wireless->Standalone Controllers->4404 you should see a link for Wireless Lan Web Authentication Bundle.
Its the same bundle whether you have a WiSM, 4404 or 2100

  • Custom view for section header in TableView

    Hello,
I want to put a custom view, which I created in Interface Builder, as a section header for my TableView. I created a method in the HeaderViewController to set the label in the TableView header but the header doesn't change. I also tried manipulations the header directly in the HeaderViewController and also the other way round by putting a button in the HeaderView, but nothing works.
Do I have to create the header directly in the TableView?

    That's what I did already.
I allocated the ViewController for the header inside the tableView:viewForHeaderInSection: in the TableViewController and initialised it with the View and sent a message to the controller to display individual headers for each section.
Another strange thing is that I can't set and get the label text in the ViewController from the View, but I did everything connected with Interface Builder like on each other normal view.

  • Trouble with help viewer

    Hi!
My help viewer is not any more helpful. First when I opened help viewer for any application it appeared onlye blank window. I tried many different ways to fix it searching in google. Then I tried to solve problem re-installing HV with PACIFIST http://www.charlessoft.com/. And now report says "no help available for..." if I try to get help for any application. Any ideas how could I re-install or solve this problem?
BTW using pacifist was successful reinstalling Dictionary.

I've never got sollution with my problem with Help Viewer. I fixed it, but somehow some of information appeared on... chinise or I don't know what language. Recently, I had a trouble with my HD and I just went to Genius bar. They fixed everything fast and very good(hope), but I've never got clear answer what exactly happened with my MacBook...
