Trouble with detect network "Domain network" in the domain member server

HI a have quetstaion about detecking "domain network " in the windows 2012 r2 server . after instaling and adding this member server to domain i look that i cannot connect to this server . After I connect to console a detect site also public site
. After I disable and enable this netwotk site the network is correct domain. How is detect which network is it ? this contacted domain controller ? etc. ???

Not fully understood the problem. But if you have a Windows domain and you can't add the new server to the domain or can't connect
to the server after or before joining to the domain. Then it could be no of reason first one to check is firewall.
Turn the firewall on host and source and then try again. Also are you able to ping the new server?
How are you trying to connect to the server via RDP?
If yes then you need to enable the RDP and give yourself permission to remote dial in.

Hi Miky. After upgrading to ios 5.1 I had the same problem.
I reset the APN on network settings and rewriting the same. iPad now working on 3G.

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Source list, and then click Restore.

If you are wondering why you are not getting any responses, it is because you have vented a complaint without any details that make any sense or give anyone something to work on.
If you want help, I suggest actually detailing what has happened, with versions of software etc. Anything that would let us assist.
As a start I am guessing that you have not really got the hang of "How it all works". Firstly download the Pages09_UserGuide.pdf from under the Help menu. Read that and view the Video Tutorials in the same place. A good addition would be the iWork 09 Missing manual book and something to help you learn how to use your Mac.

Well I am feeling a bit silly now because that was all I had to do. In the past Workgroup Manager had always opened right up to the list of my users, I never even thought to click on that but apparently that was all that was needed.
I still am not sure how the iChat Server preferences changed themselves on me, but it is not the first time I have had weird "settings" issues with our Snow Leopard Server.

I'm looking for some suggestions about installing CiscoWorks LMS 4.0, and upgrade, on a domain member server running Windows 2008 R2 SE 64 bit.

Here are the basic install best practices:
1) Install as a local administrator (this means create a local account and add it
the "Administrators" group).
2) My Computer -> Properties -> Advanced -> Environment Variables
Set the USER TMP and TEMP to a shorten path like
C:\Windows\temp
3) Make sure you have FIXED pagefile size like 8182
My Computer -> Properties -> Advanced -> Performance Options -> Advanced
4) May need to reboot, certainly log out an back in to make sure step 2 applies.
5) Stop all anti-virus and firewall during the installation. Disable them in services and reboot if necessary.
* NOTES: Anti-virus can be re-enabled after installation, but you should EXCLUDE
the NMSROOT directory as long as LMS is installed on the server. DEP should
remain off (that is, set to only protect critical Windows system files) as long as LMS
is installed on the server.
* If Internet Information Services (IIS) is detected on your system and if you have
continued the installation with IIS services, you cannot use the port number 443 for
HTTPS. Instead, you must use the port numbers ranging from 1026 to 65535 for
HTTPS to avoid this conflict.
When performing the installation, make sure these two steps are followed:
* Install from original, locally attached media
* NEVER abort the installation after the installer says not to
It may not always be possible to install from original, locally attached media
(especially on VMs). But you should avoid from installing over the network as hiccups
can cause bad installations. If you are installing on a virtual machine, convert the DVD
to an ISO image, then mount that within the VM.

If you want to upgrade the operating system from Windows 2003 or Windows
2008 to Windows 2008 R2, you must first complete upgrading the operating

and not on the lower version of LMS.
* You cannot install Integration Utility and HP Open View 7.x or 8.x on
Windows 2008 or Windows 2008 R2 servers.

I have installed the new i OS 7 on my IPAD, I am having trouble with sending messages. I reset the imessage and networking as I did for the iphone but it still does not allow messages to be deleivered. any suggestions?

Trouble With mouting network share

We got this problem on 3 mac who are in 10.3.9
When the user mount a network share, ok no problems.
When he want to mount a second share the first one disconnect.
the alias on the desktop dissapear, but the one on the left panel of the finder stay, and it's impossible to remount it because, the share stay on /Volumes/
i tried to remove it => impossible sill reboot.
i got another problem on these machines with mounting network sharing.
When i select a share on the dropdown list, it mount the one who's before.
i did a onyx, diskwarrior repair permission etc ...., other ideas ?

Wrt 310N on a network with a sonicwall, domain and server

I'm using a wireless router on a network in an office, to provide wireless to guests and also to a computer where cables won't reach. I have been able to set it up so a computer can connect to the router and thus the network, but it can't connect to the internet. How can I get it to connect to the internet? Here's the configuration in a nutshell: - DHCP is turned off and is being provided by the server. - Internet setup is set to automatic, but when I go to status everything is at 0.0.0.0 under internet connection. - I have the cable connected from the network to the 1 port (LAN port) so that I can use the router as a bridge (as advised by the Linksys support tech). - I have WPA encryption turned on. - The SPI firewall is disabled. - This network has a static WAN IP.

The reason everything is showing as 0.0.0.0. is because the "Status" window only monitors internet settings as they relate to the WAN port which you have nothing connected to. All the linksys should need to do here is get the computers wireless cards on the LAN and then the DHCP server should take over and route traffic through the sonicwall. I have a WRT54G at my office with a sonicwall and is configured the same as your 310n except that everything is working fine.
What I would be interested to know is, on the systems that connect to your linksys via wireless, what does the "IPCONFIG /ALL" bring back from the command line? For everything to be working correctly, it should return the same information as a system that is wired into the sonicwall. Can you let us know if this is the case? DNS servers and default gateway are possible culprits here as well as subnet mask settings which should almost always be 255.255.255.0 for most single office environments.
For what is worth, we did not need to clone a MAC address (why would you? The sonicwall is accessing the internet not the linksys) and we did not need to modify the MTU settings...

Trouble with "body" images lining up at the top

Hi, I am having troubles with the #body style in my web page. I have inserted a table into the #body area and the the body editable region will not line up on the top with the sideBar editable region when I add text and apply my css to it. You have your image in the 'body editable region' wrapped in <p></p> tags (paragraph tags). <p> tags have padding and margin set on them by default.

You can either just remove the <p></p> tags or you can zero out the padding and margin:

margin: 0;
Unfortuanately the above will target every paragraph on your page which might not be desirable so I would just remove the <p> tags as it is not necessary to wrap an image in them.
If you do want to keep the <p> tags then use some inline css to specifically remove the padding and margin on that particular one:

Having trouble with my screen becoming larger than my phone supports. Can this be corrected without taking the phone to an Apple store?

The sign on screen (where the current time and the slide to unlock) and if I can get it to open, the next screen that show all the apps. Have been unable to get any further that that second screen. The screen contents appear to be about twice the size they should be. I have been able to "reset" the phone by turning it off, but the problem happening several times a day and now occasioanally the reset does not work. This just started happening about 3 days ago and is increasing in frequency. I have had this phone about 14 months.

I am havering trouble with an app purchase. In the app there are gems you can buy an I tried to buy $50 worth but it kept saying it wasn't working. Then I checked my bank acc and it has charged me $1 four times. I don't need it to change to $200.

For the $50, does anything show on your account's purchase history ? If you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases. On your phone you can a cut-down version of your purchase history, and optionally contact iTunes Support, via http://reportaproblem.apple.com
For the $1, did you add or change your credit card details on your iTunes account ? Each time that you do so a small temporary store holding charge (i.e. $1) may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

File sharing to Windows with XServe as Domain Member

I have an XServe (10.4.3 server) that I am attempting to use as a new fileserver on an established Windows network (with SBS2000 on the old Windows server).
I had the XServe as a standalone server, and set up some folders to share, and used WGM to share them. This worked, but of course windows users accessed as guests, as they weren't identified properly.
I changed the XServe to be a domain member, and after a little hassle got this working, but now "Sharing" in WGM is greyed out, so I cannot mess with the shares (i.e. I cannot add or remove shares, or change the attributes of those folders that I have already shared).
How do I manipulate shares on a server which is a domain member?

Wow - 3 posts in my own thread - it just shows how much of a nuisance beginners can be. Sorry.
My issue, it turns out, was between the chair and the keyboard. I was connecting to the server using its Rendezvous name, not its domain name. (an easy mistake to make, in my case, as both start with the server name, and both end in local).
When WGM is connected to the renezvous name, the sharing tab is greyed out, when connected via the domain name, it works splendidly.
Sorry to bother you all, and I leave this here just in case others are as stupid as me, and therefore my solution may help them.
