Trouble with editor screen

When I call up a photo in editor I cannot do any thing with the photo. I click on say the brush tool to burn an area and only get a hand on the photo instead of the expected circle delineating the brush. I try the resize tool and still only a hand appears on the photo when I should get the resizing tool????????

If that doesn't work then resetting preferences should. Simply hold down ctrl+alt+shift while launching editor. You will be prompted if you want to delete the Adobe Photoshop Elements settings ? Click Yes. This should fix the problem.

Anyone having trouble with full screen shortcut key?

For no reason, the shortcut keys for full screen window quit working. They started working after a reboot once but just quit again and restart did not correct this time. Quite annoying, any fix for this?

Powerbook G4 17" troubles with the screen

Hello,
my powerbook G4 1,67Ghz seems to face a new problem.
When I open the screen, I must stop to open it half way, if I go to the normal way (90°) the light is very, very , very low (even black sometimes....)
Not easy to work with a 45° open screen....
Any idea on the problem ?
someone told me to open the computer and replace the inverter cable.....

Sometimes your problem may also be:
1. The backlight. See http://www.ifixit.com/ on how to replace.
2. The PRAM battery. See http://www.ifixit.com on how to replace.
3. The "glossy" screen. Glossy screens don't do well with certain types overhead or light from behind you. They can be especially sensitive if there is a window to your side or behind you, or if the overhead light is flourescent, or if any of those directions the sun is shining. Matte and anti-glare screens have less difficulty on that account, though may still have issues if there is sun shining.

Trouble with normal screen mode

My I phone has unexpectedly entered a mode that would appear to be useful for those with either blindness or severe sight problems. The screen does not work as normal on the slide to unlock. I have to double tap to get anywhere. I managed to get to settings but the scroll up and down does not work and I can't de-activate this mode. I don't know how the phone entered this mode. Can anyone help?

Trouble with touch screen

I own a Photosmart Premiyn c309g it's a touchscreen-well it's supposed to be! Quite often I can't get it to
touch on; which means I can't access the menu and thus can't copy or scan. Also, the on/off button has never
worked. Not sure if any of this is because of how I set it up. I have both usb and wireless hooked up.
I can get it to come on if I unplug and replug the unit; but, it hates this/I get a improper shut-down warning.
Please tell me how to fix this and/or how-to access the copy/scan possibly w/o the touch screen.

Welcome to the HP forum.
I understand that your printers touch screen is not responding correctly.
I would like to help.
Step one: Turn the printer off and then on again
Step two: Connect the printer directly to a wall outlet
Unplug the power cord from any power strips or surge protectors.
Plug the power cord directly into a grounded electrical outlet.
Try again to use the touchscreen menu.
If the touchscreen responds when connected directly to the electrical outlet, do not reconnect the power cord to the power strip or surge protector.
Step three: Reset the printer
Press the Power button to turn on the printer.
With the power on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
Wait 60 seconds.
Reconnect the power cord to rear of the printer.
Press the Power button to turn on the printer.
Try again to use the touchscreen menu.
I have sent you via private message with instructions for another reset.

Does anyone have trouble with the screen disappearing while making a call and trying to turn the speaker on?

I have to use the speaker portion of my phone whenever I make or take a call. Sometimes the screen goes out as I'm trying to hit the speaker button. Does this happen to anyone else? And any suggestions how to stop this?

The iPhone is designed to have the screen go dark during a phone call, since the phone is normally up to your ear and you would not want to be touching the screen with your ear and possibly touching random buttons. This is done by the proximity sensor, which is located near the ear speaker on the phone. When you are reaching to turn on the speaker, it is possible that you are crossing this sensor light and it turns off the screen. I have done this before. If you try reaching from the bottom of the screen, does this still happen? Try to keep your hand away from the top front portion of the phone and see if that helps.

Troubles with the screen

my ipod's screen suddenly started not working properly. it shows only lines. the most of the times is like that, but when it's warmer (for example if I put it under a blow drier) it's more likely to work properly, but if it does, I just turn it off and on and it won't work. it didn't fall or anything.
do you have any idea what this could be? do I have to go to an apple store and get it fixed? if so, do I need the receipt?

the thing i'd like to know the most is: if I bring it back to the store and I need the receipt, and mine is some thousands miles away, is it okay to have just a copy?

HT201406 Trouble with touch screen for iphone4

The screen displays an outlined box around each item I touch, I have to press down on a number and tap it several times for it to work, and I am not able to scroll. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I tried turning the phone off, however, that didn't help. I took off the screen protector and cleaned the screen to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions that I have not tried that may work?

Trust me, I know how frustrating this could be. I'm glad the problem was solved for you. My phone wouldn't scroll either, but I found out that it will scroll if you use two fingers. I would suggest turning off the Voiceover setting to prevent future problems.

Trouble with call screen wallpaper

I just got an iPhone 5 and once I had sync'd the info from my old iPhone, I decided to change the wallpapers (both home and lock). This seemed to go fine until I noticed that when I received a call from a contact without an assigned photo, the call screen shows my old wallpaper. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.

My screen (iMac Intel) is not displaying correctly. My menu items are off the screen. I'm wondering if I hit some kind of key commands, but am not sure what has happened. If I scroll to the edge of the screen, I can find them, but everything else on the other side moves over. I've tried restarting and that isn't helping. Any suggestions please?

Check your display settings, but I suspect you've accidentally zoomed the screen. If you go to System Preferences, Accessibility and then Zoom you may find that you've accidentally switched on screen zoon.

It says it is in recovery mode and i need to restore . after clicking restore it says that my iphone cannot be restored . As soon as i turn on my phone it goes to the apple logo for about 2 seconds then the connect to itunes screen . SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ! my phone is my life and i need it back on .

Connect the device to iTunes and restore from the most current backup.
If the issue continues, restore as new.

Hi i am havin trouble with my ipad after i have downloaded a game and have been playing for a while it seems to of diapeared and the screen goes a white blank background there is nothing on the screen at all so i switch it off and back on and it is white

Quit the game and restart the iPad.
To quit the game - Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If that doesn't work try this.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
