But it can auto sync when i connect it to my old laptop. what's the problem that it can't auto sync and when i did a backup in my new laptop, it was corrupted the next day and i was forced to use back a backup which i did in my old laptop 4 months ago. do i have to reinstall the itunes? will my backups be corrupted after i sync again? pls guide.
P.S/ its the latest version of the itunes whenever i did the backups.iPod touches or any iDevices from Apple sync only to one computer. If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. If the music were purchased from iTunes, you can re-download them again otherwise the music on iPod touch will be deleted. Do you have iTunes backup?

New to this site, sorry if I didn't enter my question correctly ... Updated iPhone 4 to iOS 7.0.3, some older Visual Voicemails disappeared. Just noticed today. Not backed up in iTunes. Can I get them back?
HALF-SOLUTION!!!! (Restoring only, basically.)
Restore the phone via iCloud.com
1. Go to iCloud.com , and log in.
2. If you want a back up, make sure you back it up to itunes now!
3. Now back to iCloud.com - select the device you want. Press "Erase iPhone" (or iPad, iPod whatever).
You will go through a few steps. Skip the phone number and leave a message, as it isn't lost. Your phone will be restored. No need for plugging in!
4. IMPORTANT: Just set it up as usual. Language, country blah. But then you'll get to a step where it says something like "This iPhone was erased with iCloud. Log in with the Apple ID you used to erase it". In this case, my Dad's. So please do that. Later on, the phone will ask for an Apple ID to be used for the phone. I put my own one as I didn't want my dads!!!! Lol....
5. Plug into iTunes and back-up.
As for updating, I'm still on 7.0.2,,, it ain't working on my phone or itunes!! :( -

I have a problem. When I start to sync music to my iPod touch, you have to enter the password of your account. I downloaded the game from the general account, and do not always know the password. Is this the iTunes library/computer you sync with? You can rally only "sync" with one iTunes library/computer.However, yo can manually manage music and videos among different libraries/computer. See the manual method of:

I cannot get any of the zoom functions to work, period. When Firefox starts up it begins to display the page then it stops and redisplays it. So its like it flashes on for a second then completely regoes to the site, any site. The text zooms dont work even when i try to change the font on the content tab, nothing. The home button on my iPad is no longer working. To get to a new screen or App I have to turn the iPad off and then restart it.
Try calibrating the home button and see if that works. If it doesn't, you could also try restoring with iTunes. Try this first.
Calibrate the home button
1. Open a stock iOS app, such as Contacts
2. Press & hold the sleep/wake button at the top of your device until the red slider control appears.
3. Immediately release the sleep/wake button and press & hold the home button. Hold until the red slider disappears. -
I tried to update my address book on OS X6 with an abbu from my other computer which has Lion OS X 7. It wiped my address book clean and I cannot retreive by Address book on my OS X 6 computer and saves out there?

The address book syncs via iCloud, not Bluetooth or iTunes.
You upgraded to Lion so you could use iCoud.
On the computer. go to Apple menu > System prefs > iCloud.
Sign into your iCloud account.
Tick everything.
This enalbes the se items syncing to iCloud.
On the iPad, Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Create a new iCloud account.
Sign in with the same AppleID as your computer.
Settings > iCloud and turn everything on.
BAM!
That is all you need to do.
Your contacts (and all other checked items checked) will sync between computer and iPad.
No need to use iTunes -
Ive just upgraded my late 2009 macbook, and things are not working properly. First of all, when I started the computer first time after installing Mountain Lion, some message advised me that some files were impossible to install. Once I wrote my password, and for now on, everytime I start the session, another window advise me that "Java SE 6" is missing, due that, the computer can't run some "CS5Service Manager". If I try to install it, the download ends with an error. If finally, you skip the istallation, you arrive to the dock, but the menu bar at the top of the screen doesn't show up.
In addition, my trackpad doesn't works either. I can move the arrow but i can't click anywhere, probably because the option of clicking by touching is disabeled and I can't performance a regular click.
I'll be very glad if someone know what the heck is happening with my computer. Anyway, I'm going to the genius bar next Saturday. Thx!We're sorry.

I want to know how to backup my library to a fixed backup drive rather than to a CD or DVD. I mostly have audiobooks in the library and my computer is running out of space. There are so many that copying them to a CD or DVD would be a horrendous waste of time and resources. Can you please help me?

I've had a Samsung network extender for over a year and it's been great. About a week ago, my iPhone 5 stopped connecting to it. I've never had problems with this. All the lights on the extender are blue, so it seems it's working fine. Any suggestions?
Oh no! Lets ensure that you are connected. Have you tried to reset the Network Extender? Are other devices able to connect to the Extender? Is your Internet service up and running?

My ipad2 (2 years old) will not turn on at all, with home key, or power on key, or both at same time. I just updated to 7.0.4 and there is a passcode, but my screen is blank and I can't turn it on.
Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.
Pictures taken with the device are designed to regularly be copied off the device to a computer as would be done with any digital camera.
If you have failed to use the device as designed it may be too late to recovery anything.
Is the device regularly backed up to a computer via iTunes? If so, the most recent backup (when restored to a replacement iOS device) should contain all contacts and pictures as of when the backup was created. -
Hi there, I have MacBook Air (Mid 2012) with OSX 10.8.2. I want to update to latest OSX but it is saying that I need to first install MBA Flash Firmware Update 1.1. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data, then reinstall the OS.* You don't need to erase the startup volume, and you won't need the backup unless something goes wrong. If the system was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you may need the Apple ID and password you used.
If you use FileVault 2, then before running the Installer you must launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the FileVault boot volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name.) It will be nested below another icon with the same name. Click the Unlock button in the toolbar and enter your login password when prompted. Then quit Disk Utility to be returned to the main screen.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
If you installed the Java runtime distributed by Apple and still need it, you'll have to reinstall it. The same goes for Xcode.
*The linked support article refers to OS X 10.9 ("Mavericks"), but the procedure is the same for OS X 10.7 ("Lion") and later.
