Trouble with Infinity installation and now phone l...
Hi, I was meant to get Infinity installed yesterday but the engineer didn't show up. Well actually he drove straight past my house because I was standing outside waiting for him. He then told his manager saying he knocked on my door at 4:30pm which is odd as I saw him drive by at around 4:45pm.
So after multiple hours of waiting and calling to sort this out I decided today to cancel Infinity. However BT instead went and cancelled everything even though on the phone the staff I spoke to understood I only wanted to cancel the broadband.
The problem is that I paid upfront for the line rental and today I received an email saying I wouldn't get reimbursed.
After this email I spoke to BT again who said there was a mistake and my line is still working. Anyway I get home and lo and behold I can't dial out. All numbers are "not recognised".
I'm at my wits ends. I've spent multiple hours dealing with this. Does anyone have any suggestions to how I can sort this out?
I'm considering just moving everything to Virgin and taking BT to the small claims court to get my money reimbursed.

I am really sorry you had to stand there and watch your engineer disappear over the horizon! Its poor when that happens and I apologise you had further problems trying to get help on our call queues.

Trouble With Opening InDesign and now Photoshop and Illustrator
First off I apologize if this isn't in the correct section. I couldn't find a section specific to my problem since it involves multiple aspects of Adobe products. I was having trouble with InDesign, it kept crashing. So I followed all of the advice I could find on the forums about deleting the preferences and cache information in the Library folder, and that didn't seem to make a difference. So then I thought maybe it needed an update, so I logged into Adobe Application Manager and sure enough, it did. So I clicked on "download" and it stalled there too. Then the manager became unresponsive. I couldn't cancel the update or log out or anything. So then I saw in the forum someone suggested the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool if your manager becomes unresponsive. I ran that and then shut my computer off. When I turned it back on, InDesign started working BUT my Photoshop is completely gone from my system (I never messed with it in the first place since I wasn't having any trouble with it.) And the when I tried to click on Illustrator it said "Do you want to begin your trial?" Huh?
I have had a subscription since 2012, why on earth would it suddenly think that I no longer should have access to these programs? If I log on to my Adobe account it shows my subscription and that it's up to date (last payment was April 5, 2015). The versions I was using were the CS versions that I had downloaded directly from Adobe and when I used to have any trouble or when I got a different computer I could just log into my account and then redownload them. They are no longer showing under my products, so I can't figure out what on earth is going on. The website has changed since the last time I downloaded them, so that partly could be me, but I thought they would at least be showing up under products. I contacted Adobe support and the first person I talked to on chat said "this is clearly a technical issue I am transferring you to someone better suited for this," but that's all he said. And I haven't heard from anyone since so I thought I'd make a topic and see if anyone else out there has had a similar problem.The versions I am using are the CS6 versions.*

I had trouble with my pc it had an invalid drive. After I repaired it, I went to my Itunes library where everything was listed, but when I tried to play music I got a message the file could not be located. Can I just plug in my ipod and sync it with the library to bring back the files.
Hi,
It means that the files are not stored on your hard drive anymore. So when you click on a song in iTunes, it comes up saying that it can't play the song. A file is missing. This means that when your hard drive crashed, you lost your data but iTunes some how kept you songs in iTunes. Sorry to have to say this, but it looks like you have to re-download every single song all over again.

I had problems with my password for apple and I have fixed that but now my apple TV doesn't seem to work. Just a blank screen. How do I get it to come up with the screen with Netflicks, HBO to Go, etc?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
1. Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
2. Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
3. Restart your router.
4. Reset the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings)
5. Restore the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Restore) -

Hi mnomi! Sorry to learn of the trouble you're running into with your new phone! Have you already switched the device via your My Verizon : http://vz.to/16lkVUY Once you have done this, and verify the sim card is inserted securely, the activation will begin. If the phone is stuck on the wheel and you cannot move forward, you may want to do an alternative reset. Please follow the below instructions:
1) Ensure the device is powered off.
2) Press and hold the Volume Down button (located on the right edge) until instructed to release in step 4.
3) Press and hold the Power button (located on the top-right edge) until the device vibrates (approximately 2 seconds) then release.
4) When the restore screen appears (exclamation mark), release the Volume Down button.
5) From the restore screen, press then release the following keys to initiate the reset process:
1. Volume Up button
2. Volume Down button
3. Power button
4. Volume Down button
*Allow several minutes for the process to complete (rotating gears appear on the display to indicate that the reset is in progress).

I downloaded latest software on iphone 4 and installed new software on my imac (snow leopard 8.6)and now phone not synching with new itunes. Itunes does recognize the phone but the itunes is totally different now. It doesn't look anything like the previous vesions. I can't even find a tab for synching. very strange. any help is appriciated.

Did you check the box that says 'Synchronize Apps'? This happened to a friend and after she enabled this synchronization she was able to use her apps as she did before.

having trouble with iTunes playing on my phone...how do I adujust playlist from playing same song over and over...driving me crazy!....
Check and make sure the repeat indicator isn't set to repeat the same song. It will have a little number 1 inside a circle on it if it is. Just keep hitting it until it goes white. It will cycle through repeat all, repeat 1, and repeat none.

I downloaded a ringtone last week for my iphone5 and it was active on my phone until I did a sync on the weekend with my laptop and now I find the ringtone has disappeared how do I reload it without being charged again? I still have the tax invoice.

I synced my sisters phone with my itunes and now all her contacts have disappeared and been replaced with mine and also photos... she has never done a back-up is there any way we can get all her contacts and pictures back?
Look under iTunes>Preferences>Devices...is there a backup listed for her phone? First thing done when you sync is an iPhone backup. If you have not synced since screwing her phone up, restoring from that backup(if it exists) should restore her content. Do not sync after you restore her phone, eject it. So, first disable auto-sync on that same device pane in iTunes before you proceed. If this doesn't work, is your sister bigger than you? If so, run 'cause her data is gone .

You will have to contact orange to get your phone unlock. ONly the carrier that the phone is locked to can unlock the phone.

I suspect you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1.
