Trouble with installation of IDE

Hi!
I want to install an IDE. Everytime I start the installation routine of any, it keeps telling me there wasn�t any JVM found. I installed Java SDK 1.4.1 properly several times, it won�t work. Only BlueJ offered me to browse for the JVM and after giving it the right directory it worked. But I�d rather like to use Sun One Studio :/. So what to do? Ah, yes, I use Win2k and set the enviroment variables J2EE_HOME,JAVA_HOME and inserted the bin-path to PATH. Perhaps I set wrong directories?!

It really sucks... I just tried to deinstall the SDK in order to reinstall the new ver and to make even more sure, that I installed SDK. I started the deinstallation, a progress bar appeared, accelerated from 0 to 100 in some nanoseconds and closed. SDK is still there, as well on HD as in the registry. I can start the Deinstallation as often as I wish to, it�ll keep the same...

Hope this is the right board.
We have some trouble with our Installation of BO Edge 3.1, so at first we will tell you which software we have already installed on our System:
1. Windows Server 2003 x64 Standard Edition on VMWare
2. BO Edge 3.1 with Tomcat
3. CrystalReports 2008
4. Microsoft Office 2003 (Excel only)
5. Xcelsius 2008
6. LiveOffice
7. Java Connector 2.1.8 (We did not find the %/Tomcat55/shared/lib% so we created the shared and lib folders and pasted the dll file)
8. Integration Kit 3.0 with troubles...
...we get the error that the CrystalExtension.dll can't register. To solve the Problem we try to register it manual by regsvr32. But it did not work (Error: LoadLibrary (path...) failed - The specified module could not be found.) In the board we found a notice that we can't use Integration Kit 3.0 with BO Edge 3.1. So we will download Integration Kit 3.1 from sdn but we don't know how we can install a *.war file on our System...
We can't open the CMC Site, we recieve the following error:
HTTP Status 404 - /CmcApp/
type Status report
message /CmcApp/
description The requested resource (/CmcApp/) is not available.
Apache Tomcat/5.5.20
Where is our mistake and how we can solve our problems?

And now I can login to the CMC. So the problem ist solved.

indeed I do not manage to launch the Oracle Console Management,
it launch out but disappear at once...
to install 9iFS I have to pass the patchset Oracle 8.1.7.2

1882450) to migrate my base Oracle 8.1.7 into 8.1.7.2. this
installation works fine. On the other hand at the time of the
installation of 9iFS, during the checking of the variable of

- OS: Windows XP Professional

- I can create the accounts nspadm and SAPServiceNSP by hand (with the same user!) and the installation continues but I ran into further errors in step 4.
Who can help?

What I did : create manually the user nspadm and NSPServiceAdm under Windows user.
pb was, as it is a company computer, we also have policies about what to put in passwords (capital letter, special caracters etc ...)
Now I'll see until which step I can go.

I think it is Ok for the installation, this problem you mentioned happened a lot in this forum,
you can fix it by start it up manually:
sql> connect sys as sysdba
startup;If not, you can try to restart the services at the sevices of linux OS page.

Trouble with installation on new HD

Hi guys,
I had a bit of a problem with my mac (grey screen, flashing question mark) so i bought a copy of 10.4.3 to boot from and reinstall as I has lost my original 10.2 disc that came with my mac. When i tried to install the installer couldn't see my hard drive and it couldn't be seen on the disk utility either. So I came to the conclusion that my HD had failed, I had everything pretty much backed up onto an external usb drive so this was not too much of a concern. I decided to install a new internal drive and install my new OSX onto that and start from scratch.
Again the OSX installer couldn't see my HD, but the disk utility could. So I had to erase the disk, restore it from the CD and finally the installer cuold see the HD and I was able to install. When the installer has finished the machine reboots.
Now it does not seem to be able to get past the grey screen with the apple and the rotating disc that indicates it is loading. I have left it on for hours and it does not seem able to get onto the desktop. How long should this be taking? Have I done something wrong?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Troubles with installation

as a teacher at a audiovisual institute i bought adobe cs 6 mac nl. Unfort. it does not accept my number ( i uninstalled all my previous adobe's) what to do?

The product registered under the e-mail provided here has Design standard CS3, volume license, please check the installer, the download link might be under downloads in www.licensing.adobe.com under this Adobe ID.
There are chances that the installer is bad, do check the technical specifications too as old products are not that much compatible with upgraded Operating systems.
I was unable to find any CS6, do let me know the order number to investigate further.

Trouble with Installer

So I have had my Macbook Pro for a few years now, and now I can't download anything. I have plenty of room on my hard drive, but every time I use the installer (for flash, growl, really anything!) it tells me:
"You need about 13.1MB more free space on the destination volume to install the software. Quit the Installer and make more space available on the volume then start the installation again."
When I open Finder, it tells me I have 27.29 GB available, so I don't know what it wants me to do.
Here is some info about my Mac:
Mac OS X Version 10.4.11
Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Here's my step-by-step problem.
I need to download Adobe Flash Version 10 so I...
1. Go to Flash's homepage and download installflash_player_osxub.dmg
2. Double-click the file and the "Install Flash Player 10 UB" drive shows up on my desktop
3. Double-click the drive and it shows me "Adobe Flash Player.pkg"
4. Double-click that and my Installer comes up.
5. I close all of my browsers and click "Continue"
6. A drop-down message shows up that said "You need about 13.1 MB more free space on the destination volume to install the software. Quit the Installer and make more space available on the volume, then start the installation again."
It tells me that the destination volume is "null". I have tried repairing the Disk Permissions on my Disk Utility, tried dragging the "Adobe Flash Player.pkg" out of the Installer drive and then ejecting the drive before trying to install, adjusting Installer settings, and just about everything else Google has turned up. I'm about at my wit's end here

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.

System Restore, trouble with installation

I have searched and did not see this type of problem, if this is a duplicate post , sorry
I have never been to this group before and hope you can help, I will do my best to
discribe my problem.
I am working on a T61 for a friend
He messed it up and wanted to do a system restore, it did not work
He order the disks directly from Lenovo, he got a system restore, an add on, and 6 disks which I'm
assuming are the XP operating system.
I used the restore disk, first oddity
The instructions say I should be prompted for a few answers before beginning. I am not prompted,
but rather it just starts the restore, then prompts me to remove the disk and reboot.
Second oddity, when the pc boots, I get the 'ntldr is compressed message'
thanks to this group, I found the fix for this is to boot from a standard XP disk, then use restore console
to uncompress ntldr.
When I boot with my XP disk, I get to the prompt to run the restore console, when I press yes,
the system comes back with a 'no hard drive found' message.
I have run the hard disk verification utility in cmos, it reports no problems with the hard drive.
So, I am stuck at the ntldr is compressed message, I have done this procedure at least ten times, always
with the same result.
Any help would be great.

please refer to this clean install guide for XP.
You need to go into bios and turn hdd mode from AHCI to compatible, before installing from a XP cd.

Having trouble with installation for windows 7

I downloaded flashplayer 10.3 for internet explorer 32bit and now it is completly not working. Are there any files licenses that I am missing? i have uninstalled it and done everything that i could to get it working again. What can I do to get it working again?

Help ASAP, Trouble with Installation

I have tried several times to install Aobe Illustrator CS5 and everytime the installion will get stuck at "JRE" at 5% or 8%. The time remaining starts to slowly count up from 10 minutes to, after trying to leave it on all night, around 3000 minutes. I've ran the Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner, and have made sure I have the latest version of Java. Help would be greatly appreciated, as this is making my project much more stressful than it already is.

Ypu have to tellus what system if a Mac running 10.7 did you install the Java Runtime Extension that is required.
If a PC let us know?

Is there any error code when user access their mailbox on OWA. Please confirm if there is no results returned in EMS when you run Get-OWAVirtualDirectory cmdlet. Also check whether there is any Event Logs related to OWA in Exchange.
In IIS manager, make sure the OWA virtual directory is listed in the Default Web Site. In EMC, we can navigate to Server Configuration > Client Access, select server and turn to Outlook Web App tab. Then we can click Reset Virtual Directory in the right
Actions pane to reset OWA virtual directory.
Additionally, please restart IIS service by running iisreset /noforce from a Command Prompt window.
