last update stopped me from downloading audio books from my community library. I think it has something to do with ios 5.

I doubt it. iOS 5 is for the latest iPod Touch model, not the iPod Classic , which I assume is what you have since that's where you've posted.

Edge Animation having troubles with iOS devices within Muse Site

Hi All! I've been creating a mobile version of my website www.rinkdesigns.com and have it all complete. I created an animation/navigation bar within Adobe Edge Animate and imported it into Muse. It functions AMAZINGLY on my Nexus 4 (Android) in Chrome but on a buddies iPhone 5 Chrome only loads about 3/4 of the animation/nav bar, in Safari the animation does not load at all and half of the page background does not load either. Has anyone else been having animation/mobile troubles with iOS devices? Any hints as to how you fixed your errors would be extremely helpful! I also posted this question in the Muse forum and haven't gotten a response...

Does anyone know how to have Edge Animate objects that utilize "_top" in an open url trigger make the Muse site that they are a part of open a new window/tab with that action (as opposed to having it open the url in the current page, or using "_blank" in the trigger)?

I'm sorry, but Apple does not provide a downgrade path for iOS. Because downgrading is unsupported by Apple we cannot discuss it on these forums.

Trouble with iOS 8 2 on iPad 2

i updated my iPad 2 to iOS 8.2 and cannot send or delete email any more on my usual ISP.
i Can receive,although slower,but cannot forward,reply,or send new to my contacts.
also having trouble with my later mini iPad after update...what is going on with Apple?

iOS 8.0.2 update to my iPad 2,2 did not work, nor obviously, did the "upgrade" to iOS 8.0 with the following observations:
Responsiveness to Wifi and Cell reception is very slow
I loose Cell reception (AT&T) a short time after restart, hard restart, or normal use.
General responsiveness is perhaps half that prior to upgrade to iOS 8.0

I've got a Problem.
My IPhone 3Gs doesn't work after downloading IOS 5. It turns off and then on. While it is on i can do nothing. I can't write Text messages, i can't call someone. Then it turns off and on. Off and on. And so on. I asked in 3 Apple Shops, but they couldn't help me. So...could you?
I've read a lot of the same problems on internet pages, but the people there got no solutions. (By the way, if my English sounds strange, i'm still learning )

I suppose it's a problem with IOS 5. Before that upgrade it was all perfect. But now... it is only 2 years old. But i will try it with the battery. Maybe it works, who knows it. :-)

My phone can't open pics since the software upgrade ! Also crashing often in apps. Any suggestions ? Re update ?

Nothing to do with iOS 5.1 and everything to do with problems in your phone. Do the basic troubleshooting steps described in the User Guide.
Start with resetting the phone (no data loss): Press both the home and power buttons for at least 10 seconds, releasing when the Apple logo appears.

Any one else having trouble with IOS 7.1 update?

Since I have installed the new update my phone has been very slow.. The internet is slow I get kicked off my apps and my phone use isn't the way it was with the last update. This update was supposed to be better but I think the last update was far better than this one. Anyone else agree? Or how can I get the last update back?

You can't get the old level back. iOS 7.1.1 is not slow on my iPhone 5. You will have to do some troubleshooting to find the cause of your trouble.
Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPhone?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).
No data will be lost.

Trouble with IoS 6 on iPhone 4S

I just updated to IoS 6 today on my iPhone 4S and I have been unable to download any apps. I attempted to download the Google Maps app and after I typed in my password and it looked about to begin the download, nothing happened and it just disappeared. It did this the several times that I tried it. That being siad, I attemped again with another app, this time some free random game I found in the App Store, but again the same thing happened. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so, do you know how to fix it?

Trouble with iOS 6.0 - Crashed my iPhone? Having trouble restoring it...

I tried to download the iOS 6.0 update last night, but now all I have is a black screen that alternates between the loading wheel and the apple icon. My iTunes is not recognizing it when I connect it with my USB to try and address the problem. This has been ongoing for the past 12-13 hours... Help???

Reset, hold both Home and Power buttons until the iPhone restarts. This usually takes about 10 seconds of holding both buttons. If still problem you should Restore your iPhone with iTunes on computer. Here are simple steps. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer. Hold both home and power buttons until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. Usually takes about 20 seconds of holding both buttons. Click Restore Button of iTunes.

Trouble with ios 5.0.1

Hi all
I have just installed the ios 5.0.1 update via iTunes on my iPad2- towards the end it showed an error message (didn't see the error number)
My iPad is now prompting me to connect to iTune however iTunes does not recognise the iPad.
Have tried restoring it...holding sleep button and home button and reconnecting to iTunes but still not showing up in itunes
So now - not only does my iPad not show up in itunes but it is frozen with the cable and iTunes logo showing that it needs to connect to itunes...
arrgghhhh ! help...anyone got any suggestions.....

Trouble with IOS 8...really!

It all started on FREE Queso Day at Moe's! Currently have a iPhone 5S, updated to the new IOS 8, it operated fine for two days without issues until Saturday evening, screen went blank. Support at the local Apple store tried to revive it, no avail. They had to replace the phone, but we were unable to restore the phone to my previous iCloud back ups. Tried the last three backups all received messages of corrupt files, had to restore phone as new phone. Q- How do I restore this 5S back to my previous iCloud back ups? I have not reloaded IOS 8 on this phone for fear of another premature death of a iPhone 5S. Any suggestions are appreaciated. Loyal user...BTW phone now tells me that the iCloud account cannot be back up because there is not enough storage available.

If those back up are registering as corrupted, you can't, and in fact do not want to. Also - if the backups were done from iOS 8, you will not be able to restore from them to a device running iOS 7. That could be why you are getting the corrupt file message. iOS 7 doesn't recognize them as legit. On the other hand, with a device that was failing to point of needing replacement, they could just be hosed up and unusable no matter what.
Only option I can offer is to do the iOS up date to 8 and see if the backups will work. It is highly unlikely iOS 8 caused the phone to fail in that manner. Sounds like a hardware issue.

is anyone else having problems with the latest ios update. i havent had a problem with a single update until this one (knock on wood) but this is really starting to aggrevate me. ive tried restoring the phone twice now and has taken about 2 hours each time. im just wanting to know if anyone else has had this problem

Having trouble with iOS 5 and Wi-Fi syncing.

My iTunes is not showing me the option to sync my iOS 5 device over Wi-Fi. Both iTunes and my iOS are up-to-date (iTunes 10.5, iOS 5) so it should be working smoothly, but it isn't giving me the option in the sumary page of the device on iTunes. Also, the stock and weather widgets are not working in the notification center on my iPad. They just don't appear. Please, if anyone could help it would be great. Thanks.

No worries - not got absolute confirmation on this yet, but it's looking increasingly likely.
Unfortunately I'm on a PowerPC Mac so have no upgrade path, other than buying a new Mac
On the other hand, it could be an excuse to buy a new Mac...
