Trouble with itunes six need help

I am having i use Norton internet security, and I can't pull up Itunes 6 it pulls up the hourglass for a second then the hourglass disapears but no itunes what do I need to do my Quick time player works fine. And Can I back up my Itunes music by saving it under another file and moving it back should I erase and then reinstall Itunes 6?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled 10 express on a Redhat Fedora Core 8 linux box. I cannot get it to connect to the get started page. Additionally, when I try to connect with SQLPLUS I get error message that Shared Memory Realm does not exist and Oracle is unavailable. TIA DG

I think it is Ok for the installation, this problem you mentioned happened a lot in this forum,
you can fix it by start it up manually:
sql> connect sys as sysdba
startup;If not, you can try to restart the services at the sevices of linux OS page.

Maybe you cofigured it during installation not startup automatically when you start Fedora.

After I installed iTunes 8 none of the songs will play and i know its not the sound system because when I hit play the bar at the top never moves.

What do you mean by iTunes registering the mp4?
Which iTunes, on iPad, iTunes is a Store and it won't take your .mp4.
On pc, check if it supports the mp4 (there are a number of different mp4 format) you have converted.
Can you import it to computer iTunes?

I'm having trouble with iTunes synching and accessing the iTunes store. When synching, the process tops at the back up stage, freezes and I can't close the iTunes window, need to ctrl alt del. When trying to access the store, the progress bar stops halfway. I've googled heaps and tried most of the standard answers - unistall, reinstall, etc, now looking for some help please.
This has only started a few weeks back, after working smoothly for the 2 years of owning the iPhone 3gs.
Any suggestions will be appreciated, it's getting realy frustrating.

I figured it out. A week ago I had downloaded a screensaver from a website I trusted and that's when my problems started. I uninstalled it but that didn't help. So, I reinstalled it then used an uninstall softtware app that cleanns more than the control panel does. Then I used a computer cleaner to be sure everything was wiped clean. And it worked. I downloded iTunes for the 7th time in 2 days and finally it worked! And I lost nothing from my account.
Maybe this info will help others.

Yes, it happens to me all the time. I deleted an app because it froze the. Tried to redownloading it but it wouldn't let me ivd tried all of my cards and nothing works. No it doesn't. Sometimes it make a sound that it should when connecting but that is it. Never actually charges or syncs. And it is a brand new cord.
