Trouble with library + syncing

I have songs from different providers and I loaded them to itunes and they are on my nano, but i can't seem to get them on my new touch. they aren't showing up in the icloud library and when i try to plug it into the computer the 'trust this computer?' message kept popping up even though i clicked yes. it still refuses to connect to itunes and won't even connect to computer though my other one is. I don't know what to do and im stuck in a very hard place :/ It refuses to take any music i want. what do i do to get my music onto my ipod?

I literaly feel like curling into a ball and crying right now i'm so frustrated. i have had this problem for a while and i like to figure things out on my own which didnt end well and im really stressed out about it

Trouble with media syncing

I need help with media sync everytime I do it the music transfers sucessfully but it double everything, then if I delete the double it will delete the original so am left with no music. Then when I look in my files there is only one music file so I am very puzzled. Can someone help me, I have tried everything that I have thought of.

This is how you sync music to the iPad.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Music Tab on the right.
Click on all of the albums or playlists that you want to sync - or the entire library if you like.
Click on the Sync Music Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes

Trouble with first sync

I have tried many times to sync my phone for the first time. I make about 50% progress in the backup and that takes about 2 1/2 hours. Then my computer starts acting up. I lose control of my mouse and I stop making progress with the sync. Does anyone have any help to offer? I want to install an update but I can't until I backup my files and that's where I am stuck. Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the forums!
Check the PC and disable any firewalls or virus protection programs, for the initial sync.
Once the internet is accessed by the desktop manager software you can run normally.

I am having trouble with contacts syncing (CardDAV vs iCloud)

I found that a number of recently added contacts do not sync across iCloud (devices). I have read several forum threads and can't seem to find a solution. I digging into my group text app (Text2Group) I discovered that somehow the missing contacts are not in iCloud but CardDAV. I added them in my phone by opening contacts and tapping on the + symbol in the upper right hand corner of the screen. I did the same thing over the years and never had this problem before upgrading to iOS 8 and then 8.1.1, or at least noticing it recently..
I logged out and back in from both devices. turned off/rebooted my iPhone. The contacts I added today on my MacBookPro (13-inch, Mid 2009, 8 GB ram, OS 10.9.5) today appear on both my iPad Mini and Phone 5S....
Any thoughts other than manually adding the phone CardDAV-contacts to iCloud so the will syn. All of the contacts in CardDAV can be found in contacts, but cannot be added to groups. Baffling

You can sync/manually mange iphone with one and only one computer. If you sync/manually mange to anther, then it will erase the current content and replace with content from the new computer.
What "trouble" are you having?

Trouble with Iphone syncing

My Iphone has trouble syncing. Its a hand-me down phone from another friend. I cannot sync my Iphone to another computer and when I try to sync with wifi, it says it is not able to sync and sync would resume when my "friends-pc" is available. The device isnt shown in the itunes sidebar either

Have you restored the iPhone once in your possession? Since it was synced on your friends computer wifi syncing will also be looking for that computer.
As for the device not showing up in iTunes try the Assistant.

BB 8900 trouble with iTunes sync - Mac

Just upgraded my memory card to 8GB, and was able to sync some of my iTunes library via PocketMac. I tried to sync again, but now I'm getting an error thru PocketMac "Feature Unavailable: No Media Card Present." Confirmed that the BB is attached to the MacBook via USB, restarted each, no change. Anyone have any experience with this?

I'm having trouble with the sync all feature and i'm not sure what to do about it

i'm using Lr 5.3 on a windows 8.1 and a really fast laptop "can render movies in after effect in minutes"
the problem i'm having is when i click the sync all button and the top loading bar moves like everybody, only the pictures viewed in my bottom slider will change even if i leave it for hours and this happen with big and small number of pictures so i tried reinstalling it and that didn't work
i do a lot of timelapses and i thought maybe if i export the video they will show with the edited settings and that didn't happen and it showed the pictures that i havent moved to view blured, like the same blue when you move fast between raw pictures
so i t tried exporting them and that worked fine but takes ages, the pictures still didn't change in the viewer but all the exported pictures did and thats not helping me in my job !
FIND ME A SOLUTION please cause i'm dealing with 500-1000 picture here and i need to move the slider every 20 sec or so every picture is changed and this takes time and effort guys !

It could be overheating..........thing is ....i never realy though ibooks got that hot....the ibook does not even have a cooling fan...at least my blueberry 300mhz doesn't.
I would have to say sounds more like your hard drive may be starting to fail you.

Having trouble with Audio Sync in FCExpress

Hello, everyone...a question for the board.
I recently acquired a new iMac with Final Cut Express...planning to try some video editing at home.
I haven't been successful with the proper configuration for captured video, however...using a Sony TRV-900 as my source, video feeding in via firewire 800 (I bought a 400/800 adapter to make it work), and ingesting using NTSC Basic...however, my audio is still not in sync with the video--the video is always ahead, and it jumps further ahead the more I ingest.
Is there some configuration I need to use so that the audio syncs correctly? Is it, as I suspect, a drop-frame issue that I haven't set up correctly?
Any help you could throw my way would be very much appreciated.

I realize that most DV cameras will record in 32 and 48 sampling rates. What I'm trying to get you to do is see what you've ALREADY recorded.
Open one of the captured clips in QuickTime, then hit Command j to see the movie properties. Or in FCP, right-click on a captured clip and choose Item Properties to see what audio you are trying to capture. Once you know that, create a Sequence with those settings, then capture any remaining footage with those settings. If needed, recapture any footage that was previously captured using the wrong settings.

Trouble with Missing Sync

Hello all,
I am currently trying to get data from my treo 680 onto my mac (in mac address book, ical, etc formats) so that I can eventually put them on an iphone. I am using a program called missingsync which supposedly does this, however i am having much difficulty finding where the backed up files are going. The program says they have been successfully backed up however I can't find them anywhere on my mac. Does anybody have any experience with Missingsync that could help me out? (I tried calling tech support, its an answering machine). Thanks in advance.

Have you read the User Guide bundled with the Missing Sync for Palm OS? Are you not aware that files stored on your Palm device are written in this manner:
• contacts to the Address Book
• events and tasks to iCal?
Are you talking about 'transfering' or synchronizing your data now stored in your Palm device with your Macintosh desktop or portable computer, or backing it up using the standard Palm backup conduit?
Are you aware that Mark/Space offers a specific application designed to do just what you want to do, and provide ongoing support for iPhone features not supported by iTunes?

Trouble with reminders syncing and iCloud

I couldn't get Reminders to sync with iCal via USB/iTunes. So I thought maybe Apple, despite making everything syncable via iTunes in the past, had broken with this pattern and made it so Reminders only works through iCloud. (Is this true? I hope not.) So I turned on iCloud for Calendars, which led to my iCal to-dos getting synced to my iPod, but my iPod Reminders still aren't synced with iCal. So that's one problem I'm trying to solve. Furthermore, now I can't seem to turn *off* iCloud without losing all my calendars. Is Apple trying to force me to use iCloud forever now, just because I gave it a test run? I guess I can export all my calendars, turn off iCloud, then re-import, but it seems like it shouldn't be that hard. Am I missing something? Any thoughts or advice on any of these issues would be appreciated.

Trouble with library and installation

I have a gateway laptop running windows XP professional.
I had a library of music on itunes, and one time I opened up itunes and it was all gone. I am not sure if this was the result of pushing the reset button under the laptop--which I did do once-- or something else because I hadn't used itunes for a while. anyway, my library was gone. furthermore, songs I had ripped from legimate purchased CD's were also gone. I search for them on the hard drive and couldn't find them.
So, I uninstalled itunes, downloaded itunes 6 and installed it. now I open it, and it works, but everytime i do so, a window pops up that says
"the registry settings used by the itunes drivers for importing and burning CD's and DVD's are missing. this can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. please reinstall itunes."
but i did. and the same message came up. then i unistalled, redownloaded the file, and installed new again--but same message. I haven't been installing other stuff. can anyone help? furthermore, where are the music files of the stuff i ripped off my CD's at home?

okay, the following techniques usually fix this one.
(1) reboot your PC (very important), and then do a repair install of itunes. go to your Add/Remove programs control panel, select itunes, click "Change/Remove", and then select "Repair".
... but if no joy with that:
(2) download and reinstall the GEAR drivers that itunes uses for importing and burning. use the first link on this page, not the second one:

Trouble with Mobilink sync

Hello, all
I was wondering if someone can help me with this strange error in the Mobilink sync.
The table in question is only supposed to be for upload, no download.
Why does Mobilink try to download data from table, when the table is only supposed to be for upload?

This script has been deleted by now, but there is another error now, which came from the script generated from a model.
If I have a table, where all field are primary keys, then the model builder generates the following event:

Trouble with Gmail Syncing with Mail

Hello,
I am getting up to speed with my first Mac and loving it so far. I hope this is in the right place as I could not find a community for Mail.
I have my Mail account synced with my Gmail account and everything works fine on the Mac. However, I am noticing that during the day, when I respond to e-mails from my PC at work using Gmail, I am not seeing those responses back on my Mac when I open Mail. Come to think of it, I also have a draft email on my Mac that is not appearing in Gmail drafts folder. Can someone enlighten me?

Trouble with wireless sync settings for Yahoo Calendar/Contacts

Hello,
Today I attempted to sync my Yahoo Calendar and contacts with my Tour. I was able to get it to synchronize when I connect it to the computer, but I intended to set up wireless sync.
If I go to the Calendar, and then select Options, I can see my email address under "Calendars." If I highlight and select my e-mail address, I can see the "Wireless Synchronization" option, but it says "No" next to it, and will not allow me to accept "Yes"--- it's just not an option.
How do I fix this?!
