Trouble with Making A Book

I am in the process of making a book. I just received new photos that I want to include, that were not included when I made the original file. When I take my event group of pictures and drag it to the book icon - nothing happens. I believe the pictures are there somewhere as the total number of photos in the book is quite large - over 1,000. But I can't see them in the books browser to drag them to a page. Any ideas? To many pics?

I am having trouble submitting a photo book because the images are showing up funny when I preview. Can you help me to fix this problem? I spent weeks making this as a gift. Am so disappointed.

Trouble with making a freeze frame?

Hello All,
I need some help with something I'm trying to do. I have a short clip in my timeline that I have color corrected and added some filters to. Then I move the playhead around until I find a still picture that I like and then I go to Modify>Make Freeze Frame and then I move the still from the viewer over to the section that hold all the files. The trouble is that when I make the freeze frame FCE is giving the version before I did color correction or adding the filters. How do I get to make a freeze frame that has been color corrected? It's showing me the raw version before I've done anything to it.

When the freeze frame is created in FCE, it is only from the master clip (with no filters applied). Simply drag the filters that you applied to the clip to the new freeze frame. The filters will be applied with the settings you made.

Trouble with making dwt editable

I have a 2nd template in my site I am using for all pages except index. It has a image in the upper right that I want changed on each new page but when I go to make it editable (insert>template objects>editable region) I get a pop up saying this: "The selection already contains or is overlapped with editable optional region" ??? The only area of the template that is editable is in the content area below. How do I make that image change on a new page I create?

No, you don't need to detach it from the template.
You can change the image in the CSS file by making a tag...say, the body tag...ID attributes editable.
Select the <body> tag (use the Tag Selector)
Choose Modify > Templates > Made Attribute Editable
Choose or Add the ID Attribute in the "Editable Tag Attributes" box
Check the box to "Make attribute editable"
Enter a Label (this will be visible in the dialog box where you enter a new page's body ID)
Type: Text
Default: enter your default <body> id here, if you want one.
Press OK
Now, you can assign a different ID to each page, and you can then "key" images for that div to be different on different pages.
To edit an attribute that you have set up this way, go to a child page and do Modify > Template Properties. You will raise a dialog box that presents a table showing your Labels (see #5 above) and the value that attribute now carries (see #7, if you have not yet edited a new value).
Select the attribute you want to edit and change the value to the new body ID that you want for that page, say "homepage" for the index page.
You will need to put an id on the cell where you image now resides. You will remove the 'surface' image from the code and rely on using a background image.
Now, in your CSS file, you want to set a background image for the cell.
body#homepage td#image {
background-image: url(images/header_graphic.jpg;
You can see that if you create a child page and make the body ID attribute "contactpage" (for instance), you can set up a CSS rule like this:
body#contactpage td#image {
background-image: url(...path to your new image for the contact page...);

Trouble with making slide show VCD or copying photos to CD

I have saved approximately 200 photos and made a copy of the photos on a cd. The problem is that some of the photos copied horizontally instead of in vertical format.....the photos where all properly showing on the PSE7 organizer...but about 13 copied in the wrong format??? Then I tried making a slide show with music....works fine in the PSE7 program, but when I went to output to VCD, nothing copied....except some files that don't contain the photos?

1. Reduce the image size 1000 x 750 if you are using high resolution images.
2. Use windows supported codec background music for slide show.
3. Update the latest audio/video drivers.

Having trouble with making new internet tabs and windows

When I open a new tab or new window, some small blank black windows appear and disappear right away. I have tried running virus scans, uninstalling unnecessary programs and deleting memory but they still pop up. Also after the blank windows disappear, there is a "not responding" after the blank windows disappear, for about 10 seconds and then resumes normal

Well first, the version of Firefox you are running is EXTREMELY old and insecure. Please update to Firefox 11 right away. [[Updating Firefox]] can help you with that.
After doing that, if you are still having issues, Try to start Firefox in [[Safe mode|Safe mode]]. This mode disables all extensions, user customizations, hardware acceleration, etc. temporarily for diagnostic and troubleshooting. If Firefox works fine in Safe Mode, then this is likely an add-on issue. Restart Firefox in normal mode, then type "About:addons" (without the quotes) in the address bar. Disable your extensions one by one, restarting Firefox between each one, until you find the trouble maker. Once you do, you can disable that add-on and report the issue to that add-on's developer.
A few other basic trouble shooting things you can try is this:
Run all Windows Updates, install all needed service packs, etc.
Update your graphics driver (Firefox uses your graphics card for some rendering, and an out of date graphics card driver can cause problems. [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-upgrade-my-graphics-drivers https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-upgrade-my-graphics-drivers].

Download and Install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run a full Scan. [http://www.malwarebytes.org/ http://www.malwarebytes.org/]. This helps check that there are no viruses on your computer causing issues. You can uninstall this program after you clean off any infections.

Problem with making a book and calendar with iphoto

I tried to make a book with iPhoto, but it won't give me any options if I want it hard bound, spiral or paperback. Do I need to reinstall it?
The only thing I can play around with is the card option, the calendar won't work either.

Trouble with making a link to Web photo Album in Dreamweaver cs4

I am pretty new to this. I have created my website, made all my links, which are working fine, but when I made a Web Photo Album in Adobe Bridge, saved in Dreamweaver under my other web pages on my site.
Here comes the problem, I made a link from i.e. (parents.html) to go into my Web Photo Album but it won't work when I preview it in browser, but other pages will work when I test it with the same link on my (parents.html) page.
I am pulling my hair out, I can't understand why the link to Web Photo Album won't work, it is the last thing I have to do before I have to upload website. Can someone please, please, please tell me what is wrong.

You may need to upload the pages anyway, so that people can help you find the problem. Seeing the code and the associated files is the only way to try and help you ;-)
You can always upload the files to a test folder on the server instead of directly into the root of the site if that is going to be an issue for you,
PS: If it's working from being linked to from other pages, then there must a pathing issue when it comes to that one page.

Trouble with making playlists on iPhone 6 plus running iOS8,please help!

IInitially I restored my phone from my previously used iPhone 5 that was updated to IOS 8.01 backed up the same day I got my iphone 6 plus. It stalled when installing the 2nd out of 400 apps. I had already hit the "X" button on iTunes to stop the sync so I couldn't do the "wifi-sync" trick to keep it going. Anyways I eventually turned it into airplane mode after unplugging it and starting the sync over. Was able to restore everything on my old iPhone, updated my software to 8.02 then updated all my apps, and sync'd my phone again and created a backup on my computer and iCloud. Saw people were having problems with syncing playlists, but all mine showed up except recently added and recently played.
My question is how to create a playlist on my phone. I was trying to create a new playlist on my phone, was able to create a new playlist, hit the edit button to add songs, added all the songs I wanted, but then I'm stuck here. There's no button to "finalize/create" the playlist after all the songs are added. It will let me go to other playlists, my songs/albums/artists/etc tabs, but at the top It just says add songs to playlist. When I go to the playlists tab and go to the newly created playlist it just has the playlist name and says there's no songs in the playlist.

i was just creating a playlist when the Done button disappeared. i then tried to make it happen again and i did:
-play a song
-then make a new playlist
-select some songs for the playlist
-wait for the song to change and when it does select some songs to add from the artist/album section
-the song change turns the "Done" button to "now playing"
-now you've gotta quit the app because there is not way to finish adding to playlist or change the song you're listening to D:

After the button changes there is no way of getting the 'done' button back so you have to quit the app

It's not a virus.
You may have inadvertently installed adware. Eradicating it is simple and you don't have to download or install anything to fix it. For an explanation or how this may have occurred, how to avoid it in the future, and for one possible solution read How to install adware.

Trouble with the Blurb Book Module in Lightroom

I have successfully created & finished one book in the Lightroom Book Module using Blurb without any issues. I started a second one but now I'm having problems. I have a saved book started that I'm about 10 pages in on. But now I can't figure out what's going wrong.
I have organized all the photos I want to use in the book into subdivided Collections. But now all the sudden - every time I click on one of the collections it goes off my Saved Book and just resets to a blank Unsaved Book. How can I add photos from my Collections to my Saved Book?

OK yes thank you. But that puts my 1200 photos that I've painstakingly organized into 25 different folders into one big jumble of a "folder."
Is there any way to keep my photos organized and still put them in this one book? I started the book out this way but something changed and it's no longer working to work that way.

Trouble with Printing Address Book Contacts

I'm trying to print all the contacts in my address book in the list form. I follow the instructions from threads and other sites, but the problem is that it only prints the first page. In the print dialogue box the range only states 1 to 1. Even if I highlight all my contacts and press Apple+P only the first page comes up for printing. Anyone have a suggestion?

Trouble with Contacts (address book)

Dear Apple Community: I have problems with Contacts. When I open up Contacts there is noting there and noting works like adding a new contact or group; it's like it's locked up somehow. I always try to find answers myself before asking the Apple Community. I Found a U-Tube video explaining how to fix a problem similar to mine. It told to reimport your Contact data base, but my import menu item is grayed out. Any ideas of how I can fix my Contact app? Is there something is Library that might be corrupted that I can throw away? Thank you!

In Finder hold down the option key while selecting the Go menu. Select your library. Go to Preferences/com.apple.Addressbook.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got them from, overwriting the newer ones.

Troubles with making iPod an external hard drive. Very frustrated. Please help..

I need to make my iPod an external hard drive, and the “enable disk use” option does not appear for me. I've gone through all the settings, reverted back to 10.7 and gone through all of those settings too. I've watched a million ****ing tutorials and I still can't find it. The reason I ask is because I want to switch to Winamp media player, which also has the ability to manage music on mobile devices (including iPod), but Winamp wont recognize my iPod unless it's an external hard drive. I'm going to go insane, if I can't get my music back for school work. Thanks for anyone that helps.

You need iOS 7.0 and Mac OS X 10.8. I have an Ipod Touch 4. I tried to update iOS from 6.1.6 to 7.0. I got no error message, but I checked "software update" in the ipod settings. The iOS version is still 6.1.6 and it says that "my software is up to date". So go figure!
