Trouble with Menu Color Set

The highlighted color on my Menus is very flaky, almost unreadible. Has anyone had problems here?
The preview is ok on the PC but on the Blu-Ray player its a problem.

What color did you choose, and what is the color that the Sub-picture Highlight appears over?
In Encore, you can change the Color Set of your Sub-picture Highlights.
Now, this term, "flaky," makes me wonder if what you are seeing is the limitation of a Sub-picture Highlight. It can only be 2-bit color - either ON, or OFF, and that means no feather, or anti-aliasing. Sub-picture Highlights will look "rough," and that is the nature of their limitation. Also, the Sub-picture Highlight will appear on top of all Button elements, when selected. Can you define what you mean by "flaky," and perhaps post a screen-cap of your Sub-picture Highlight?

How do I sample color from a photoshop image and apply it to an Encore menu color sets

I'm about 3 months and many hours of tutorials into Premiere ProCC, Audition CC, and Encore CS6. Apparently the nifty dynamic links from PPro and Audition CS6 no longer work with encore, as encore was not upgraded to CC. So, I want to sample color from an original photoshop image, and create an Encore menu color set, so that my menu bttons, etc. are colored to match the main photo image in the menu. Is there an eyedropper kind of tool in Encore that would let me sample the color from the image, and then apply that to color swatches in the Encore button layers? If there is I can't find it! ~Thanks!

Strangely enough, I started a thread on this issue a few days ago in the Creative Cloud forum. I had to uninstall all my pre-CC adobe software to get the Application Manager in sync with the CC apps, so when I tried to use Encore, there it was gone. So I reinstalled PremPro CS6 just to get Encore back, but when I right clicked a menu in Encore, as asked to Edit in Photoshop, it threw up an error. The consensus was that Encore CS6 would know nothing about Photoshop CC, so after much time searching for a fix, my only option was to either reinstall Photoshop CS6, or do it manually.
I took the latter option using Windows 7 to search for the menu, and open/with Photoshop CC. Stan Jones, who is the Encore equivalent of our Noel, mentioned a brick-bat, but I just saved the edit file and dragged it into Encore, and it worked fine

Do you even know how to nuke and re-set Photoshop's preferences, colorplak? Your last post seems to reveal that you don't understand what I'm talking about. Here's a link you can click on:

To re-create the preferences files for Photoshop, start the application while holding down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"
Note: If this process doesn't work for you while you're using a wireless (bluetooth) keyboard, attach a wired keyboard and retry.
Important: If you re-create the preferences by deleting the Adobe Photoshop CC Settings file, make sure that you only delete that file. If you delete the entire settings folder, you also delete any unsaved actions or presets.
Reinstalling Photoshop does not remove the preferences file. Before reinstalling Photoshop, re-create your preferences.
Note for Photoshop 14.1 and later: If you use Generator and reset your Preferences, Generator is disabled. Choose Preferences > Plug-ins to turn it back on.

Trouble with spinning color wheel

Still having the same issues with the spinning color wheel. Took my computer into Apple; seemed to "fix" it but as soon as I brought it back home and started using it again the same issue with the color wheel constantly spinning. Has ANYONE had success with fixing this problem?!!! I've tried everything suggested and like I said, took it into Apple and that hasn't helped.

Trouble with Menu and Looping

I have Encore CS6. I created a Blu Ray Project. 720 50p. the Preset is H264. I have two Menus in the Project and each have an Audio of 21 Secs. Duration pickwhiped, and Set to forever in the Properties Motion tab. The Menus are PSD and White in colour. When the Project is Burned to Blu Ray Disc both menus at the 21 sec mark go to Black frames and I can see the Underlined Highlight only for about .9 of a second. How can I get rid of those Black frames and get the Menus to loop properly.

I have returned to this forum on numerous occasions, but not anymore, as it looks like Adobe are not interested in resolving problems for their customers. I will also be returning the CS6 Production Premium which I paid good money for. I am not going to put up with being mistreated like this anymore.

I had a chance to play around a bit.
I can confirm the black gap, but there is quite a bit of variation depending on other conditions.
I was distracted by the audio length and highlights, but now wonder if this is not a variation on the problem discussed here:

Using Brendan's menu and wav file (and a made up PAL 720p50 clip for a timeline), I get his results. Brendan, I did not understand that the menu continued normally after the absent menu background. In any event, the audio ends, the menu background is absent (so there is black), the highlight remains, then the menu continues normally through another loop. The audio is playing to the end.
The problem is not present in Encore preview; it is present to varying degrees playing from a build to folder with Total Media Theater 5 or a burned disk (BD-RE).
The varying degrees is interesting - Brendan's 59 second clip leaves a pronounced black frame - probably less than a second, but significant. A 30 second audio clip shows only a very, very short flash of black. A 10 second clip had a black frame almost as long as the 59 second clip.
I wonder about the audio length issues I raised above.
The full scope of the issue is easier for me to understand using a video background, where the delay is also present - there is just no black frame. For example, simply load the Crib Menu. Playing on the computer from a build to folder, the black is observed. Played from a burned disk on a DVD player, no black flash is present, because the player holds the last image (the final frame of the motion video background) on screen until the menu repeat is loaded. (The highlight disappears briefly.)
The black is more apparent on an audio only menu, because there is no video background to be held.
I don't recall whether the frame being held is a build issue or a player function.

Trouble with Monitor color

(I Hope this is the right place for this post)
I had my imac at the Mac store, they put in t new logic board and a new power supply. Got it home and the color is WAY out of wack! The color of the pictures in iphoto, websites, everything. It looks very faded, and kind of pinkish. It there a setting or adjustment I can make? I have a imac G5 PowerMac8,1. Power PC G5 processer. Go to: System Preferences > Displays > Color and uncheck the box "Show profiles for this display only" and try selecting one of the RGB or sRGB profiles in the extended list to see if that makes a difference.

Troubles with menu

Hi all,
we are using CRM 2013 (Rus). Current version: 6.1.2.112 (SP1).
After update CRM to current version, there is a small issue appeared (Before update, all was fine):
In menu, then i choose any "Last Seen" entities, there are Unicode codes instead of symbols in a entity name.
How can i correct this issue?

to check your sitemap. Open the toolbox and open the SiteMap Editor Tool. Look for the Area -> Group -> SubArea, the title is not shown well. Look for the titles section under your subarea and add a title to the titles section with your
LCID and title text.

Iphone 4, Trouble with photos coloration and flash strobing effect. Does anyone knows...?

Hi I am expiriencing following problems as per attached exhibits:

When taking picture there is no problem. When pictures are downloaded the result however is this:

Do any clever boffins know what is up? Preferable directly the Apple "geniuses"

Your profile says iPhone 4, is that correct? Do you have file extensions turned off in Windows Explorer? If so, when you turn them on, are you sure this is a jpeg file? If the image viewer cannot open it, then something is going wrong, as the image viewer can open most any kind of image file, including both jpeg and png.
For Exhibit B, I would say it could be a combination of the LED flash and the flourescent light that is causing the lines. It could just be out of sync from the electric 60Hz cycle of the flourescent light.
At first I would recommend a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. But one thing bothers me and that is the fact the Exhibit A picture looks good on the screen of the phone, but then displays this coloration on the computer, as well as giving you a file error. Not sure if that is an iOS issue, or a Windows issue.

Trouble with doubles (adding, setting precision)

Firstly,
I have a loop that adds 0.3 three times. For some reason it comes out as .8999999999999!
Why is this?
Second, does anyone know where I can download a class or view source code that allows you to set decimal precision of a double? I started writing one myself but it's more complex than I thought and I'd rather just use someone elses if I could...

The precision of calculations and how numerical
floating point numbers are handled in computers are is
very relevant for business situations. Actually the
problems with decimal numbers themselves often need to
be understood by those creating the business rules (ie
like the sales people, audit departements, CEOs, etc.)
The precision of the java double itself is unlikely to
ever have an impact on that though.
For example, if a business person asks you to
calculate a mortgage payement then they must
understand exactly the impact that the imprecision of
such decimal calculations will have on the business.
And they must understand it enough so that they can
decide the correct way for handling it. The rules
for handling this case, at least in the
mortgage/banking industry, is going to be far less
the possible precision that a java double can have.
(The reason of course being that how this is handled
d impacts the credits of the lender and the debits of
the lendee.)
Given the above it matters little what data types are
used to handle the calculation itself. But rather
that the calculation is done in such a way that the
business people understand it and that they understand
the limitations of it as well.Okay, I don't disagree with any of that. Still not sure about your overall point though.

Trouble with sampling color while using paint tool... help!

The other day, Photoshops started acting a little funny. Specifically, when using the paint tool, I'll hit option (alt) to sample a color to the foreground but it is sampling to the background instead. I have tried to reset all tools and no dice. Does anybody know how i can reverse this? it is screwing up my whole blending procress.

With the paint brush selected, go to the Color panel, and click on the foreground colour so it has a feint white line around it.

Trouble with Menu and sub menu widget

I am a newbie, hence my current question. I have developed a site for the company that I work for, the basic navigation menu widget has been added, however, the owner wanted a sub-menu for only one of the categories/menu tab, but I am having trouble getting/adding a drop down for one of the menus, it is doing an all or nothing when I try to add the submenu, regardless of only editing the one. What am I missing?

Incoming is imap.mail.me.com. Outgoing is smtp.mail.me.com (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4864). But if you're setting up iCloud mail on OS X Lion or higher, you go to Settings>iCloud and check Mail. This will add the account with the proper settings.

Newbie- having troubles with background color when opening new document

It looks like the Grids are enabled.
If in photoshop you go to View>Show and click on the word Grid, does that make a difference?

Trouble with audio midi set up new aggregate device

hello im alex, im using apogee duet with logic and live, sorry for the mistakes , i am italian.
a guy from ableton suggest me to create a new aggregate device made by apogee out and built in out put together in order to have a pre in the headphones
THE PROBLEM : after create a new aggregate device , when i check the boxes to select inputs and outputs, the boxes stay empty, unchecked.
(sometime i see flash of the window opening but after a millisecond desapperead)
somebody can tell me something good to resolve ? thank u

I'm having this same problem. Makes no difference which devices are selected, it isn't possible to create a new aggregate device with any devices at all, internal or external. 10.5.8 Audio MIDI setup 2.2.2
