Trouble with my ipod touch

i just bought my ipod touch 8gb 4th gen.i already download and installed newest quicktime and itunes.after i start itunes and connected my ipod touch, a box appears and say "This iPod Cannot Be Used Because the Required Software Is Not Installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then install iTunes again."
anyone can help me with this problem??
notes: i already try uninstalled the itunes itself and download again, and i also already try to uninstalled quicktime and itunes both then installed both with itunes installer...and the result is,my ipod touch cannot be read by itunes.and i already try to repair both itunes and quicktime too...and it still can't...
please help me...

is this anything I can fix on my own, or do I need to take it to a professional? Sometimes when I type on my keyboard on my ipod touch, I can't hear the sound when I type in the letter. Other times, I can. If I have to go to a professional, how much do you think this will cost?

I'm having trouble with my iPod touch fourth generation..

I was on my iPod and I realized that I couldn't accept follow requests on the Instagram app, I tried going on the computer and it wouldn't let me sign in. I tried a few more times and even made sure I spelt it right, it was all correct but it was saying something like "Please enter a correct username and password. Note that both feilds are case-sensitive." The password and email were correct, but it's still saying it. The app on my iPod is working but if I try signing in anywhere else, it won't work?? Cannot seem to get a signal from my router with my Ipod touch. Lap top and desk top are working fine.

I have been having trouble with my Ipod touch getting a signal from my 2wire router. This is an easy set up for lap top and desk top. Now I can't seem to get the internet with my ipod. I can get the a signal with my wife's ipod 3rd generation with no problems. My old ipod i purchased in early 07. I can get a signal at the local McDonalds or Starbucks. Just not at home. Does anyone else have this problem? I ran the reset as prescribed by apple but have been unsuccessful.

The problem is most likely with your router. Follow the instructions in the router's manual to reset it. Also what security are you using? If it's WEP upgrade to WPA. The iPod sometimes has trouble with WEP "protected" routers. I put "protected" in quotation marks because WEP security is essentially useless. It can be hacked in less that 30 seconds.

On my classic I'll hold down menu botton on the wheel. But thing happen, I'm tired of letting battery go dead and recharge it, just to freeze up again. PS I don't know operation system on my ipod classic, but on my mac book pro i am using (11.0.2) my mac os x (10.6.8). So, I try to take a quess at my os my classic

Holding down the center/select button and the menu button will reboot your ipod. See if that helps. Also, I'd recommend something else- I had nothing but trouble with my ipod classic until I spent $20 to get Mac OS Mountain Lion. It did what you said and sometimes wouldnt play, or wouldnt power on...
Try rebooting your ipod and let me know what happens and maybe in the future obtain Mountain Lion to aide your ipod in functionality.

Problems with Itunes/Ipod touch

I'm having trouble syncing my iPod touch with iTunes. Whenever I go to sync, my iTunes freezes at "Backing up: step 1 of 5". I've tried restoring my iPod 2-3 times now, and now my apps are starting to close while I'm in them. What do I need to do? I've uninstalled itunes and re-installed itunes, and I've been trying to figure this out for 2 months now, with nothing happening. Can anyone help?

What docking station is works with the ipod touch 4th generation? We have a Bose docking station which I'm having trouble getting it to fit onto.

How does the system you have been given not work with your iPod? What is the problem?
What is your point about the 4th generation adaptor? The "adaptor" is merely a physical piece of plastic that sits in the Docking Station's dock and creates the exact shape for your model of iPod to fit snugly into it. So a 1st or 2nd generation iPod would not benefit in any way from a 4th gen adaptor.
Are you trying to find a portable iPod Docking Station that works without mains power?

The product you linked to looks portable to me. So why does it not suit your needs, is this about using it out in the garden (my question 2)?
Less complicated in what way? What exactly are you finding complicated? Simply place the iPod into the Docking Station and (presumably) select the iPod input and press play.

Can No Longer Connect Wirelessly to ITunes With My IPod Touch

While I can connect to the Internet with my IPod Touch through my router, I cannot seem to connect to ITunes wirelessly. My device only shows when I have it connected through the cable directly. The Apple help site hasn't been much good, as they suggested to completely uninstall ITunes (I followed their instructions implicitly) and re-install. Same problem. Not sure if this has anything to do with the new OS....but it's suspicious.

Funny thing is, my desktop is hard wired too, but for grins and giggles I put iTunes on one of my laptops, and used the laptop to reset my iPod to factory settings. Wireless synch still didn't work....
What really aggravates me is when you go to the KB to find out how to troubleshoot an issue, the articles are pretty much blank. Click here, set that, but no real explanation of how stuff works or what can cause it to break....
One thing I have noticed is the KB article says that after you tell iTunes to use Wireless Synch if you don not eject the deivce, it will stay connected when you unplug it... I never saw that behavior....

Might be an authorization issue in iTunes. Try deauthorizing your computer through the Store menu at the top of iTunes and then authorizing it again. Once that is done try transferring purchases from the iPod Touch.
