Trouble with native audio player

Hi! recently I´ve been trouble with native audioplayer on my Ipod Touch 4 (64GB). When i chose the audio player from main menu screen, it changes to a blank screen (it seems as it is reading or something) but application does no starts and backs to main screen. I tried to reset de iPod many times as user guide recommends, but nothing happens: audio player does not work
I purchased some audio players from appstore; first I tought that apps were the problem, so I uninstall them, but the problem stills; 2 hours ago I restart only "settings" on Settings / General / Restart (in spanish "Ajustes / General / Restablecer") and it seems to work but I'm not confortable with that.
Is ther any I'm doing wrong? maybe I reached memory for Playlist,...

hai i have the same problem
but if i understand it right the problem is
windows 8 / 8.1 /10 the have flash but it getting crippeld by some thing (anthore program i believe it was explorere 9 if i recall correct)
didn't pay to good attention .
what we all three have to do is go to explorer and look up the previouse flash( so the wone we didn't install but was already on the os .
then you have to delete this .as well the wone you tried to install after you found out.
then it's possible to install the new one .
my os is win10 but has the same problem the solution is as found after some hours reading
i hope i didn't read for nothing.

You can try removing app then reinstalling. If that doesn't work

This is a follow up on the first question. I went out to the issuu website to see if it was a problem only with the document posted by me. Answer - No. Every document opened to full screen showed the same behavior. The document opens, but the full-page view stays up for only a second or two and then closes leaving you back at the referral page.

Trouble with keeping Flash Player installed

     I'm having trouble with keeping the latest flash player installed and even registering it's installed. When I install it, there are no error messages, and around 50% it jumps to being finished installing. My flash files don't read the flash player as being installed and when I restart my computer, if I go to a website that requires flash player, it tells me I need to install Flash Player version X (usually 9) despite having installed version 11.7.700.169.
     I've been having this problem since I installed CS 6 about two to three months ago. After following the installation path I find that both the 64 bit version and the 32 bit version have been installed somehow even though I downloaded the 64 bit version.
     I just found out that it may be causeing problems viewing Youtube videos as well.

I'm a noob but trying to build my own site in iWeb and using Coda to edit code.
I am a music producer and my website has a page on it that showcases some audio.
I have 3 issues that after about 30 hours of research and fiddling...I can't for the life of me figure out.

1. Lytebox - I am using a lytebox to open a page I designed (HTML page in iWeb) that has 2 links on it so the viewer can choose where they want to go. When said lytebox opens and one clicks one of the two links, the linked page will open within the lytebox. I dont want this. I want the lytebox to close and the linked page to navigate normally in a regular web page.
     After much research I have found a code that lytebox posted to be able to do such a thing. They posted this code:

     I have pasted that code everywhere I can think of and it doesn't work. I'm not even sure where to post it (on the first page where the lytebox links from? on      the page that opens in lytebox? on the page lytebox is linking to?)

2. MediaElement Audio Player - I am trying to build a page where I can showcase about 15-20 audio clips (about 20-30) seconds each. It is very important to me to be able to hear/view this page correctly on multiple browsers along with tablets and mobile phones. Someone recommended medialement.js.
After HOURS of trying to figure this out, I finaly found a way to add multiple players but not have them load the audio so as to not slow down the web page...and it just was simply not loading on an iPad.
Here's my issue:
     I couldn't figure out how to design (in code) how to add text (song name, artist info, etc) that was to my liking in the HTML so I added the <audio> player via <HTML> and just added text around it in iWeb manually. Problem: iPad is somehow resizing the layout and by the time you get to the bottom of the page, the <audio> players have moved and are now covering up the text. Its all a big mess.
     Question: can mediaelement.js use a jukebox style playback?

3. MediaElement Not Playing Back on iPad - I've ran some tests and when I just have 1 <audio> player on the page, it'll play fine on the iPad. But when there's more than 1 player then none of the <audio> players want to work. I'm not sure what's going on but even after about 20+ hours of sitting at my laptop, I'm thinking of searching around for a jukebox that has HTML5 and Flash fallback that looks NICE and easy to modify for beginners.
If ANYONE has ANY pointers or can help in ANY way ... I'd be forever greatful. Sorry for the long post.

in iWeb, on the page in question, i've only got 2 HTML snippets (windows). One for the "Vocals" and one for the "Orchestrations".
In the HTML snippet, I've coded in 12 players for the "Vocals" snippet and 10 in the other snippet for the "Orchestrations" players.

Export quicktime trouble with splitted audio

Hi, I'm getting 4 movies of audio when "self contained" as a quicktime movie. It is a regualr NTSC 720x480 sequence. I put the "self contained" movie in my drive to share and nobody can read it Besides, I cannot burn DVDs anymore with those results. I really don't know what happened. Anyone getting something similar?

Kevan has the answer to the file-splitting problem. But once you have that straightened out, the reason others may not be able to play it may be that they don't have FCP installed on their system. Right-click on the self-contained file and choose 'Get Info.' Change the 'Opens With' to QuickTime Player and add a .mov extension to the file name if it doesn't already have it.

I am finding FCPX has trouble with mixed audio sample rates

I am just putting this thread out there to ask if anyone has experienced issues with mixed sample rates in the timeline? Specifically I have noticed that a timelilne with an audio rate of 48KHz with have troubles with a song at 44.1KHz - this is irrespective of what sort of video codec I am using. It happens to me a lot lot with stills actually.
If I preconvert to 48KHz, I do not have the same issue. Just asking if this has been discussed or mentioned elsewhere so I can figure out if it is just me.

You might want to duplicate the capture preset for DV/NTSC 48k and change the audio to 32k.
Then try that.
But I'd also change the JVC's audio settings to record in 48 while you're waiting. Should be able to do it... cheap or not.

Newbie having trouble with M-Audio Interface

I'm probably overlooking something obvious, but I cannot get my M-Audio FireWire 1814 to be recognized by my Mac, I've reinstalled the software multiple times and still it tells me that there is no device. (I've been careful not to hot-plug the FireWire connection). Here's my setup: IMac, (running OS X.4.8), Logic Express, M-Audio FireWire 1814, and Korg Trition Studio. I'd appreciate any help.

i don't think that is what the org poster meant. i think they were meaning that he hasn't blown his firewire connection, and that he is letting the m-audio driver load at startup.
i don't think that it had anything to do with m-audio being hot plugable.

I am having trouble with my audio software and CoreAudio (seemingly)

Hi. I use my computer to run several audio-based programs on my Macbook such as Logic Pro, Ableton Live and junXion. Today, when practicing a laptop-based set with a friend, I used firewire into a Digidesign interface (I can't remember the exact make). In order to get this connection to work, I installed Avid's 002 firewire drivers.
Everything worked fine, however later on, after I had disconnected and shut down etc, I was unable to open any of my software that requires CoreAudio. This is quite worrying honestly. They just bounce on the dock for a while but do not open. It seems to stop when it gets to 'Checking MIDI Drivers', and then eventually (after quite a while might I add), it estimates that something is wrong with the MIDI drivers and asks to restart. I have done this several times but nothing has changed.
I noticed that in my audio devices (both input and output), it still says 'Digi CoreAudio Device', even though I am obviously no longer connected to that. I decided to try deleting the 002 firewire drivers from Avid, but this came to no avail, and it still says on my audio devices that the Digi CoreAudio Device is still there.
What is the problem here? Can anyone help me?
Fortunately, my Alesis M1 Active 320 USB monitors still work, and appear in my audio devices whenever I plug them in, and then disappear when disconnected. But it seems that something relating to to these Avid drivers have truly caused everything to go haywire.
Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Aha! I have sorted it.
For those with similar problems, the solution is this:
Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > MIDI Drivers
Then delete DigiDioMidiDriver.plugin

Trouble with Windows Media Player Plug-in

I've been having a very annoying trouble lately. I can't play any windows media streams even though I have windows media player 9 installed. I reinstalled it but still nothing. Has someone else had this problem? Do I need to install something else? What do you recommend me?

It allows WMP playback (most files) via QuickTime Player or its browser plug-in.
You'll need to use Rosetta to use WMP as it is over three years old and will never be made Universal.

Having trouble with my DVD player

I put in a dvd and when I try to open up the apple dvd player I see this error
"There as an initialization error
A valid DVD drive could not be found. [-70012] "
Any ideas as to why I'm getting this error

Can you boot back into OS9 and see if the DVD player works from there? If so I guess that would mean a software issue with a component in OSX. Does OSX have trashable preferences in the same way as OS9?
Kenichi: I think all 400MHz Ruby iMacs came with a DVD-ROM as standard. It was only the 350MHz version that had a CD-ROM only.

Having trouble with a audio file. Need help please!

This may sound funny and not to related to any of this at first, but if anyone here knows about the game portal, then they know about the ARG that went on during last week and may even still be continuing. None of thats really important but if anyone cares to know, basically VALVe released a new update with 30 new sounds, 26 of them moarse code/sstv pictures. 3 of them called dinosaur_fizzle 1 2 and 3. Infact, each one was named dino_1 dino_2 and so on.
The main sound that no ones been able to crack is called Dinosaur_noise. Its obvious there are voices in it and its some sort of major clue, this file is way out of league with the other ones. No ones solved it 100% or cleaned it enough to make basically anything audible.
Now this started March 1st. Since then i have worked hours on the audio file. I have gotten close, but not close enough.
Thats why im turning to someone here, that can do a through analysis of the audio that adobe or reaper just cannot do.
In the attachments is the original file itself with no editing what so ever.
Heres some collected data.

Silence in the frequency ranges is located in the band of 10.567 - 15.337 KHz. All frequencies above that are likely to be high frequency poinoning from the FFT process.
Heres what i know personally.
-Noise reduction makes it a lot worse and adds strange harmonics and artifacts.
-Most filters do the same.
-Clear voice around 15 that says THATS AMAZING.

What you are asking for is very unclear. Why do you even want to do a "thorough analysis of the audio"? No one is going to do your project for you.

I am having some trouble with Adobe Flash Player

I have tried to record an audioboo and when I press record the Adobe Flash Player comes up and asks to allow the mic etc... I set it up to allow but then can't close the box!? I have tried lots of times and it just won't close and hence I can't record the boo. I don't have a problem closing the flash player any other time and I have in fact recorded audioboo's before, but for some reason I can't now? Any help or advice would be great.

I have the exact same issue - but the funny thing is that it is only on my iMac - my MacBook Pro is fine and they both have 10.7.2 and the same latest Flash Player, so I think it might be a hardware problem to be honest.
Ever since upgrading to Lion my iMac has been that way - my MacBook Pro had the problem with the first update from Adobe but after the second update of the Flash Player everything is fine on the MacBook Pro.
How old is you MacBook Pro?
