Trouble with non-spam ending up in spam folder & b...

Having a very annoying problem today. My news digests etc from Times as part of my sub to the newspaper have been arriving fine up to now, but are today landing in the Spam folder. When I highlight a message and choose "not spam" or whatever from the options the message is supposed to be moved from spam to  in box. But instead they are deleted. How do I a) stop Times emails being wrongly bunged in Spam folder b) move wrongly classified "spam" to in-box -& not have them deleted. By the way, does BT email not have a "recently deleted" option so one can access emails deleted accidentally?

    I personally like to Crop, and then use PNG for my screen-caps. If I need more images, say to show other Palettes, etc., then I do one each for those shots.
    We see a lot of full-screen caps posted, where aggressive JPEG is used, and nothing can be read. That is especially true with images, like Adobe Encore's Flow-chart, where there is a lot of text and linking being shown.
    Just my personal preferences.

  • Trouble with Non Cumulative Key Figures

    Hi all of you,
    I am working on Non Cumlative Key Figures, (NCKF). I have the data like this
    Sales rep S100 visited SHOP S1 on 1st Jan and 10th Aug, and transacted worth         100 and 500
    SHOP S2 on 1st Mar and 1st July and transacted worth 200 and 300
    SHOP S3 on 3rd Sept. and transacted worth 400
    Sales rep S200 visited SHOP S1 on 1st Jan and 1st Aug and transacted worth 100 and 300,
    visited SHOP S2 on 1st April and transacted worth 200     
    I created Non Cumulative Key Figure in the following manners:
    In modeling in InfoObjects I double clicked on my key figure BILLAMT and selected the Aggregation tab. I selected Counter (all values) for Exception aggregat. By default Agg. Referen. Char was 0calday. I then activated the info object and went to BEx. Here I took other IOs like Salesrep, Shop NUM and Dt. Of trans in rows and Bill amt in columns and executed the report. I am not getting the output how it should come for NON cumulative key figures.
    But when I right click the key figure Bill Amount in BEx in change query mode and select properties. I go to the option Calculate result as and selected the option as “Count all values”. And in another option Calculate Single Value as I selected the option “Count all values”. I said OK, saved the query and executed it. Now the output is similar to how it comes for a Non Cumulative Key Figure query but I am unable to understand the output.
    Now my doubt is where do we set the properties for Non Cumulative Key Figures? Is it in the Administrator Workbench under Modelling under InfoObjects?
    OR
    Is it in BEx change query mode by right clicking on the key figure and selecting properties?
    Please explain.

    As for the setting for Non Cumulative key figures...the default setting is done in the Key Figure properties, where u can define the Exception Aggregation. This property is used as such in the query, but if suppose u are getting the normal aggregation in the query , what you could do is "Create The Key Figure as Global Calculated Key Figure in Bex" and go to properties...click on the Button for aggregation ..select the aggregation and define with respt to 0CALDAY ..here.

  • Outgoing non-spam

    I received an email message with a funny video attached.  I tried to forward it to my family and friends, replacing the message with "View the video."  I pressed send and got an error message that the message was spam and to go to the spamfaq page.  I went there and and got the email address to send my message to in order to get it permitted.  I sent the message to the spam police for approval.  I got an error message saying that the message did not make it out of an outbox.  I tried to contact Verizon.  I filled out the form and clicked the send button.  I was taken to another page that said my desired destination could not be found and listed other links.  My questions are, "How do I get my email declared non-spam" and "How can I contact Verizon?" 
    I do not like Verizon's spam scan.  My Norton 360 provided spam scanning, at different ports, and I could interact with it in Outlook Express, identifying spam and non-spam.  Verizon allows the same spammers to send me mail over and over again, and then flags my message as spam when it is not.
    Also, why does this page keep jumping up and down?

    As stated in the Spam FAQ page, you will not get any response when sending the message to [email protected] for review. You attach the message that you are unable to send, and they review it. Depending on the outcome of the investigation, the filter will either be updated to allow the content that was previously blocked, or it will be determined to be a legitimate block and no changes will be made.
    Some troubleshooting steps you can try:
    If you have a signature, try removing one line at a time from it and attempting to send the message again. Some signatures look like "ads" to the filters, apparently.
    If you are using a pop3 client (Outlook, Outlook Express, etc.) try sending your message from the verizon.net website. If this resolves the issue, then it is something that your client is adding to the message that is causing it to be blocked.
    If the Subject line of your message has a whole bunch of "Fwd: Fwd: Re: Fwd:" try removing some of them.
    Remove any links/URLs from the email one at a time to isolate if one of them is causing the block.
    Some people have suggested sending the message to [email protected] for investigation. This may work for you as well.

  • I am currently having trouble with an attached PDF fill-able form created in Acrobat being non savable in Reader

    Hello, I was wondering if you would be able to help me out?
    I am having trouble with my attached PDF fill-able form, I am creating a form that has a limit of one page so in order for more room in a certain field I have added a Hyperlink to an additional fill-able(secondary) form within the Parent document (primary fill-able form. The secondary form is inserted as an attachment into the Primary form. My problem is when I open this document up in Adobe Reader, the Primary fill-able form is savable but the attached Secondary form for which the hyperlink leads to is non-savable and is a must print only. Is there a way to make the Secondary form savable as well within the same document? or is there another way I could execute what it is I am trying to achieve?
    Trying to save other as extended reader has not worked, also if I save the attachment file as an extended reader first I am unable to attach a return hyperlink back to the Parent document,
    Help would be greatly appreciated please and thank you!

    I can't say for certain without looking at the actual PDF but it does appear that they created one large text box over multiple lines. For a fillable form it may have been smarter to remove the lines and create a box with smaller text that supports multiple lines.
    At any rate, nothing you can do about it with the free Reader (and depending on the security, maybe nothing with Acrobat either.)

    you can try this: boot your MacBook Pro into Recovery mode by holding down a Command key and the R key as it starts up. Once the Mac OS X Utilities menu appears, select Disk Utility. On the left-hand side of the Disk Utility window, select your internal disk’s boot partition (typically called “Macintosh HD”). On the right-hand side, press the Verify Disk button if it’s not greyed out; if it is greyed out, or if it reports that errors were found, press the Repair Disk button. Once the verification/repair is completed, exit Disk Utility and select Restart from the Apple menu to restart in normal mode. Does it still freeze after a few minutes?

    Can you also see blackening in the power jack on the PowerBook? If so, I would be worried that the surge also damaged the computer/
    Does the computer run OK on just the battery? If it is working on battery power, that limits the number of things inside the computer that could have been fried.
    If the computer is severely damaged by the surge, it's not worth repairing. However, a couple of posters in Apple forums said their homeowners'/renters' insurance paid them replacement value of their computer after power surge damage due to known problems on the grid, like the huge power outage that hit the SW Untied Stats and part of Mexico yesterday.

    What is going on with the SPAM filtering?  Works fine for a couple of weeks then suddenly I got slammed with tons of SPAM for a few hours then suddenly the filtering kicks in again.  Usually happens late at night and clears up in the morning.  Never had this problem until just a couple months ago.  It's gotten so bad that I'm about to move everything over to gmail and just stop using Verizon, would rather not do that as I've had the same e-mail address since the Bell Atlantic days.

    The server waits for connections. The client should connect and be first in sending data.
    Timeouts are significant! If client exceeds the allowed time to send data, the server should break the connection.
    The huge trouble I've discovered that I cannot control the timeout when client connects but remains silent.

    Timeouts are easily controlled by reading and writing threads (see OP_READ and OP_WRITE ).
    But when a client just connects without consequent data send, the state of this connection remains as OP_ACCEPT. The connection remains open for arbitrarily large time and I cannot control it!
    Please help with idea how can I terminate such connections!

    How can I process the keys that weren't selected at the bottom of the loop? Should I use the method keys() ?Yes. Form a new set from keys() and removeAll(selectedKeys()). Do that before you process selectedKeys().
    And the second moment: as I understood a single key may contain several operations simultaneously? Thus I should use several if's (but not if/else 'cause it's the equivalent of switch ... case ).If there is anything unclear about 'your switch statement is invalid. You need an if/else chain' I fail to see what it is. Try reading it again. And if several ifs were really the equivalent of "switch ... case", there wouldn't be a problem in the first place. They're not, and there is.

  • Removing the [Spam] tag from non Spam emails

    I have a few emails which come through to my Inbox with [Spam] in the subject field.  These emails are not Spam.  How do I remove the [Spam] tag and tell the system that they are not Spam. 
    If the system thinks they are Spam, why don't they go straight into the Spam folder?

  • My never ending trouble with my N91

    I've never had so much trouble with a phone, i've had this phone for 9 months now, within the first 2 months i had to get it replaced twice because of hard drive problems, and now its just completely given up on me. I opened a text message i received and it wouldn't show it, just the inbox, it wouldn't let me read any of my texts, it also kept randomly freezing, i have one application on it that won't cause any harm, i then tried to back up my videos and images so that i wouldnt lose them, and also create a backup of the contacts etc. just in case, it wouldnt let me save my videos because apparantly they were in use, but i gave up on that and tried the software updator, it finished but came up with an error about the hard drive not being complete.
    So thinking that the phone might work i wasn't too bothered about that, but then after it had restarted it won't even go into the menu, read messages. Actually it won't do anything but sit on the standby screen. I decided to try the backup i created earlier, still the same.
    I was a really keen admirer of nokia phones until now.

    I eventually decided to send my nokia back, phones 4 u sent it back as i actually haven't done anything wrong to the phone.
    3 weeks later and i'm still awaiting any contact.
    I used to love nokia's, i've never had any other phone but a nokia. Although it's time to get a new contact seeing as though i haven't been able to use my n91 for a few months now (using the old 3410).
    I was reading the specification on the n95, i was amazed. GPS, wow. I was thinking about how good that phone really was.
    Then i started reading some reviews on the phone. At least 1/3 was 1/5, stating exactly the same problems as mine. "The hard drive crashes after a week" etc.
    I wasn't surprised, it just seems nokia are wanting to add more and more to their N series, although not doing anything about the fact that they don't work.
    I've lost faith in them now, and i'm looking elsewhere for the first time. I'm thinking either the LG prada, or a sony ericson for the sound quality.
    I just think nokia need to stop for a moment, look at what they've got, instead of trying to make things more advanced, they're losing a lot of customers.

  • Corrupting spam logic with blog spam

    Hi,
    I receive a lot of notifications from my Wordpress blog about comments. Most of these comments are spam, but I don't mark these comments as spam in mail because I don't want all the real comment emails going into my spam folder. However, these wordpress emails have a lot of spam keywords and now I see more and more regular spam email showing up in my inbox.
    Does anyone know how to prevent these messages from corrupting my mail spam filters? If I add Wordpress to my Address Book will it stop this issue? Is it already too late? Could mail be smarter than that and could the spam messages showing up in my inbox just be chance?

    go to mail>preferences>rules and create a rule such as if message content contains "abcd" then move message to junk.
    alternatively you could also do the following in mail>preferences>junk mail: select "perform custom actions" and create the rules you would like to tag an email as junk and/or move it to junk, such as the rule above and any other rule... in addition to selecting whatever option you have in the main tab of junk mail in preferences.
