Trouble with opening and using Apps

Apps such as Netflix and Words with Friends do not work correctly; when I tap on them, they flash for a second only and then disappear back as just icons.

When an app misbehaves I try the following.
1. Quit the app like I describe and try it again.
Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app. Then start the app again and see if it functions correctly.
2. If the first item did not work I will quit the app again then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. Then start the app again.
3. Still not working? I will delete the app and download it again from the App Store.
4. If non of these get the app running properly I will contact the developer of the app to see if they are aware of a problem.

Make sure you have enough free space on your iPad. With iOS 7 it is recommended that you have 15-20% of the storage space on the device free. For a 16 GB device that is 2.4-3.2 GB free. For a 32 GB device that is 4.8-6.4 GB free. For a 64 GB device that is 9.6-12.8 GB free.
Also try a reset. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

I am having trouble with Greasemonkey and using Firefox 3.6.13

Using Greasemonkey on Facebook I am getting errors when games reload. What is causing this? Can it be fixed? Is there a way to load the earlier version of Firefox?

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the disk image (dmg) file to the desktop

Had to uninstall iWork trial since I bought the pages app and it wouldn't let me print or save. Now the app store says I have pages installed but I can't find it anywhere to open and use it. I'm not very computer savvy and am getting frustrated!

I bought the pages app - but couldn't save or print so with some online searching found that I had to uninstall the iWork trial which had expired. I did that - but now I can't figure out how to re-install the pages app!! The app store says it's installed, but I can't find it anywhere to open and use it. I'm not very computer savvy - and am a first time Mac user and am getting extremely frustrated! I e-mailed some help center and they can't seem to help me either. I would appreciate any help/advice that can fix my problem - thanks in advance!!

OK Apple has stuffed up the demo version upgrade process so the first thing you need to do is get rid of the demo.
That includes getting rid of the files in the system.
The instructions how to do that are here:
Note That where you see / that is the sequence of folders, each nested inside each other.
User/Library/Preferences the com.apple.iwork.Keynote.plist
Means the User (you, the little home icon, whatever you are called on your computer) then the Library folder inside that and then the Preferences folder inside that.
Lion initially hides the System folders from you so you have to go to the Finder > Menu > hold down the option key and click on GO > Library to see it.

Trouble with connecting to an App and restoring In App Purchases

I am having trouble with restoring my in app purchases. I had purchased the full season for crazy night out a while back but when I got the app again after restoring the app the full season wasn't on and it is trying to charge me for it. I had also bought the fantasy date app and the multipacks and unlike crazy night out it recognizes I made the purchase but when I click restore purchases or buy pack it won't download and it says can not connect to server and for me to check my settings and try again also for the ones I do have that were free when I click play or download all videos it says it can't connect to servers and the videos don't play. Is there anything I can do to retrieve these purchases back and get the videos to play.
It's not the Internet everything else works.

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $199 if a 64 GB 4G, $99 for the other 4G iPods and $149 for a 5G. They do not fix yours.

What are you actually trying to do? Why do you need "DVD size" folders if you're creatng an Archive on an external hard drive?
Also, I understand burning folders instead of individual photos or albums gives you more space on a DVD.
It makes no difference at all.
How can I keep the captions on my photos (not events) when I print or transfer to a new folder?
You can export while writing the metadata to the file in most cases.
Tne only way I know is to copy photos from the Windows to folders on my HD, then copy and paste photos or albums or events to HD, then create a new folder and fill it to the appropriate DVD size.
HD? Another HD? You use HD there in a way that makes no sense. What's the point of 'DVD size'?
I also thought I should download future photos to my Canon programming that comes with EOS cameras and edit and then decide which photos to save to iPhoto library and which to save only to my archival HD?
Does this have any relation to the previous questions? You know you can delete from iPhoto, right?
You're somewhat confused and you need to
1. Decide what exactly you want to do
2. Then go about it.
If I understand you correctly - and there's no guarantee that I do - the easiest thing is to bring all your Photos into iPhoto and do everything from there.
You can have an archive on an external disk, you can sort and select and edit with or via iPhoto

Remove all current Adobe software. Download Adobe Cleaner Follow instructions.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Open a Finder window, select Applications in the sidebar and look for iMovie. Make sure there are no external disks connected, and if so, disconnect them, open the App Store and install iMovie.
You can also use Spotlight to look for iMovie, so press Command and Space keys and type iMovie

Having trouble with internet connections using my Apple G5. Updates turn out to be incompatible with my system. What should I do short of trashing the wonderful computer and spending cash I don't have on a new iMac?

But there is no way that my card is invalid because i just got it last week. So the only thing i haven't done yet is call my bank to check and see if all my bank statements match but if they do then have no idea what to do to get this to work with my computer, ipad mini, or ipod HELP!
