Trouble with Org Chart

Hello Visio/Sharepoint Experts
I created an org chart on visio 2010 with only the executive team that I plan to publish on Sharepoint 2010.
However, I need help. Take for example John Smith, he is a director and has 15 people on his team. Only John will be visible on the org chart. The rest of his team will only be visible when someone clicks on John’s name, a box with the 15 team mates appear
next to John’s name.
So, in short I want to create a hyperlinked box only visible when someone clicks on John’s Name.. I don’t want the box to open in a new page/window. Is it possible?

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to hide the sub team in the ORG chart until you need to show it.
Please try to right click the "director shape">Click Hide subordinates.
If there is a sub team hided, it 'll show a small icon in the right bottom. Just right click shape> Show subordinates

Trouble with Star Chart(s)

I have loaded both the Google Sky Map and Star Chart. I've used both of these successfully with a Thunderbolt and a Droid (One) - but with the Razr the azimuth does not change when the phone is re-oriented. Elevation appears to work, but the azimuth moves randomly when the phone is turned from - say - north to east. It would appear that the compass orientation function is off.
Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks.

I'm having the exact same issues...tried multiple apps, uninstalling and reinstalling each of them, seeing they were the problem, but when they all react the same way it can only be the phone. The most ironic thing is that "space junk" actually appears to show my phone oriented in the correct wa y(has a separate view option for this) that makes the app appear that it should work properly and moves correctly according to the satellites. Yet as you rotate from north to west/east/etc...the phone lags then all of the sudden skips almost 180 degrees. Would love for them to fix this bug, works fine on all my other friends' droid phones, just not this one.

Problem with Org Chart iView

hi all,
We are currently trying to deploy the standard iView on EP6 "Organizational Chart".
However we get the following error: ERROR_ABORT
Module            Tree
Header            Ord.Chart
Operation         ERROR_ABORT
Tree1(button)     Superior level(button)
This is the same message we get when trying to access transaction PZ26(used by this iView) directly from SAP/R3. I just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this problem.
The customer says that no config has been done recently that could have caused this error.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this?

this lets me assume that the generated file is fine. and that IE doesnt know how to open it, and that FF thinks it knows how to open it, but opens it "differently".

Trouble with org.omg.CORBA.Any Class

Not sure how to accomplish what I need. I have strings for user name and password which I need to get into a NameValuePair. The problem with the code below is that it tries to instantiate Any() which is an abstract class. How do I do this?

Org Chart Shapes are no longer recognized as org chart shapes by Visio 2013

I created an org chart in Visio 2013 by importing data from Excel. It generated the org chart properly. I then began cleaning up (i.e. Best Fit to Page, changing layouts on pages, changing size & spacing) as need to be visually more
appealing. After cleaning up many pages, Visio no longer recognized the shapes on the page as org chart shapes. This now causes the 'Best Fit to Page' feature to display a msg stating "Add organization chart shapes to your drawing, and
try again." It also causes the 'position' (employee) shapes under a 'manager' shape to no longer move with the manager shape when the manager is repositioned. This is now true for all shapes on all pages in my org chart. Can the
shapes be fixed to go back to being recognized as org chart shapes?

What is Assistant in Organizational Details section?

Visio 2013 Org Chart Pictures using Exchange as a Data Source

When I run the org chart wizard it creates the org charts however no pictures show up. How do I make the pictures show up when Exchange is the data source? We use Exchange 2010, Lync 2010, Outlook 2010 & 2013 and pictures show up in all those apps and
are loaded in AD.
WHat needs to be checked or configured to have the org-chart in Visio 2013 show those pictures?

Org chart integration with Who's who

Hi All,
I am using ERP2004 SP10.
I am able to call org chart from who's who. but it opens in same window, so lose the result list when i exit from org chart. I want org chart to appear as pop up. How can i achieve this. I have already specified page/iview for org chart as "Open in new window" but this is not helping.
Any suggesstion will be great help.

I have done what you say in your answer to Sudhir about the 'Org chart integration with Who's who'. The error about: "Service EMPLOYEE_ORGCHART_SERVICE does not exist" is ok. However, when I click on the link to the org chart from who's who now, we obtain a new blank page. There aren't any information in this new page. The browser try open the next url:

IDM Org Chart Postions need to be created automatically in IDM as MX_ROLE

Hi,
We have a requirement to create the org chart positions with a one to one mapping to IDM Business Roles but there is no standard SAP functionality to do this in the SAP Provisioning Framework or VDS.
Creating each Business Role will take too long and we need to have a process where new positions in HR are autmatically created as an MX_ROLE entrytype in IDM
Can anyone help me in determining an effective way so that all business roles can be created from the ECC HR Org Chart as an initial load type job?
We do not expect to have any privileges assigned yet only the MSKEYVALUE and the Description loaded into IDM for MX_ROLE entrytype. The privilege assignments will be a manual process.

Not able to view data in Aria People search Org Chart

I have uploaded my data into aria_tmp_people, aria_people_a & aria_people_b.
While doing the search from Aria poeple, the uploaded data is not displaying in org chart.

Hi Aneesh,
First be more clear about Aria Application. As Aria, is been related to an hrms part of an organization carrying the people infomation and it has some separate features too.
But in your prespective i couldnt able to understand what do you want to do with that packeged application.
Since you want to customize the aria application according to your organization needs means, First collect all your necessary organization information that is needed(like tables etc.). Then substitute those (i.e) your organization tables in the appropriate places in the form of query.
Please dont use the same Aria people table, as the Oracle may framed according to their employee information. Nearly Aria application has 200 supporting objects. If you want to use the same objects means whether u r going to creating nearly 200 supporting objects..It is not worth at all.
Please be more clear in your requirement that, what you are doing, and then raise the question. Be more prepared with your tables along with datas, and let give your reply once you were been prepared with your organization details table.
As there are more peoples in the forums to help you other than me.

Searching on the web, most results I found lead to this page, where it is said that the problem is due to badly tuned overcurrent protection, and advocated that unplugging and switching off the computer for a little while gets things back into normal. This does not really work for me; the problem seems to occur more randomly, unfortunately with high probability (my camera is available after less than one boot out of ten).
I tried to ensure that the ehci-hcd module is loaded at boot with the ignore-oc option (with a file in /etc/module-load.d/), to no avail.
I also wrote a script which alternatively removes and reloads the ehci-pci driver until my device is found in lsusb. It is sometimes helpful, but usually not. And even when my device is found that way, it can only be used for a while before disappearing again.
Anyway, such a hack is unacceptable... So, my questions are:
is it indeed related to overcurrent protection ?
is there anything else I can try ?
should I file somewhere an other of the numerous bug reports about "unable to enumerate USB device" already existing ?
If of any importance, I am running linux 3.15.7, because at the time I installed my system, I couldn't get the hybrid graphic card Intel/AMD working under 3.16.

When I search a topic gives me pages of links as normal, but when I click on a link, the page is hijacked to a site called 'www.goingonearth.com' ...
I've done a separate search and found that other users are affected, but there doesn't seem to be a clear-cut solution ... (Norton, McAfee and Kaspersky don't seem to be able to detect/fix it).
I'd like to continue using the Firefox/Google combination (nb: the hijack virus also affects IE but not Safari) - do you have a patch/fix that could rectify the vulnerability in your software?

I am having trouble with some of my links having images. For example, Foxfire has a picture that looks like a small world. The links in question are blank.

I am having trouble with my links/websites having images attached to them. The place where the image should be is blank. For example, AARP has an A for its image. My storage website has a blank broken box where the image should be. I forgot I had trouble and had to reset Foxfire, this problem occurred after that reset.

Mixed content normally gives the world globe image, unless you are using a theme that uses a broken padlock instead. Maybe the gray triangle means invalid? I came across that in a few themes (what is invalid was not made clear), but those were not using triangle shapes to indicate that.

Org Chart 3.0 - Print button on Org Unit's Profile not working

Hi,
In Org Chart, after we click on the Org Unit, then the details will be displayed on the right panel.
We clicked on the Action button on the right panel, and click on the Org Unit Profile, a new window will be opened.
Now, clicked on the small printer button on the top right corner.
It will opened a new window with print preview to print that profile page.
However, the print preview is empty, and when we printed this out, we get a blank page.

How do we fix this print problem?

Hi Luke,
In General Settings, I have defined Company Title, URL, and Logo.
Together with Allow Switching Between Modes, Set Standard Mode as Default, and Enable Effective Dating are enabled.
In Print preferences, Size is set to A4, Landscape, CM. The rest are all unchecked and Export settings are all enabled.
Am I missing some setting to cause the error?
Regarding the file SettingsResources.xml, it's encrypted in our .delta folder but it's decrypted in Admin_Config\SAP_DB2

Trouble with "body" images lining up at the top

Hi, I am having troubles with the #body style in my web page. I have inserted a table into the #body area and the the body editable region will not line up on the top with the sideBar editable region when I add text and apply my css to it. You have your image in the 'body editable region' wrapped in <p></p> tags (paragraph tags). <p> tags have padding and margin set on them by default.

You can either just remove the <p></p> tags or you can zero out the padding and margin:

Unfortuanately the above will target every paragraph on your page which might not be desirable so I would just remove the <p> tags as it is not necessary to wrap an image in them.
If you do want to keep the <p> tags then use some inline css to specifically remove the padding and margin on that particular one:
