Trouble with people using my e-mail link on my contact page

Some people using my e-mail link on my contact page aren't able to reach my e-mail account. I use statcounter so I can see that they have exited through the e-mail link, but then I never get the e-mail. I use g-mail and anytime I test the link it seems to work.
Anyone else have trouble like this?
Is there a more reliable way to have email access using iWeb?

Annoying window switch in Mail Using Safari's "Mail Link to This Page..."

Anyone else have the annoying problem where they use Safari's "Mail Link to This Page", and it opens a New Mail Composer Window, but then opens Mail's main window right over it, forcing you to switch back to the Composer window?

I got it - no need to respond. I went to Mail Prefs, General, Defalt Email Reader, and rechose Mail. Problem solved!

Has anyone had trouble using query strings in links to other web pages your personal web pages? I have a link to another web page where I pass an ID using query string but when I click on the link I get a 404 error even though the web page exists (the link appears fine).

Having trouble with the syntax when trying to only print some random pages from a multi page document. So far in the Print Selection Area, I have chosen "pages" and then typed 1,3-4 so as NOT to print page 2 but this does not seem to work. - Help Please

I have had trouble with scrollbars using netbeans 5.5.1

I have had trouble getting a vertical and horizontal scrollbar working in my GUI. I am new to programming but I have books but I find them difficult to follow because they follow the old netbeans GUI models that requires all of the code to be written for example the scrollbar has to be created and then the parameters have to be set. However with the 5.5.1 the scrollbar has already been created and the parameters of the maximum the minimum and the event have already been set.
Therefore when you follow the books they explain the whole process rather than the last part which is all that is needed. I have selected the scrollbar and then pressed the right mouse button to get the menu up where I selected Events and then Adjustments, which then displayed the following script,

I know that I have to delete the //TODO add your handling code here and then insert the event handling code. I am having trouble with people understanding me on iPhone 5c.

I am having an issue with my new iPhone 5c with the people I talk to. They say my voice is garbled or muffled sounding and difficult to understand what I say. I have replaced the phone with another new one and already I am hearing complaints about it doing the same thing. People notice if I switch to the right side of my head that it improves. Anyone else having problems with being understood? I am a male with a deep, baritone voice. My wife has the same phone and people do not have issues understanding her. Any thoughts of why this is an issue? I never had problems with my cheap flip phone that preceded this Apple iPhone 5c.

I have only had one call since the new phone....I will give it a few days to see how it works in some more time. Apple support via the phone said they noticed my first phone was not as clear as my wife's. I had used hers to do the reset on mine and trouble shoot issues on mine while I talked with the rep from Apple. Yes, we use the same carrier.....it is a hometown one, but I believe they use Sprint towers for their cells.
I will keep plugging at it until I find a solution .....I may take it to the city and have the Apple store there look into it? I live 100 miles so it may be some time before I can get down there to have them analyze the problem.

Trouble with Apple ID verification e-mail

I am wanting to set up the "Track my IPhone" app and add a second Mac to my devices in Icloud, but it keeps telling me to verify my account. I have sent the verifcation e-mail about 10 times now and each time when it says "Verify Now>" there is no link for me to click on. Has anyone else had this issue and if so how did you fix it? Any help would be appreciated.

There's a way to retrieve your email verification link if this happens to you:
1. Open the the blank email
2. Hit ctrl+U- this will bring up the source code for the original email. Even though you cant see it showing up its still there.
3. Scroll down towards the bottom of the source code to line 524-
4. Slowly scroll to right and you will see the "Dear *Your Name*
5. On line 525 a bit to the left of that you will see : "You recently initiated a password reset for your Apple ID. To complete the process, click the link below. "
6. The link is on line 526 and begins with <a href="https://iforgot.apple.com/verify/ema- etc.
7. Copy that link into a new internet window and hit enter- *Do Not Click the Link*
This should allow you to get to the reset password screen and finish the process. As long as it is still in the time frame from when the email was sent. I think 1hour. This worked for me, I was using a pc at the time though, didn't try it on a mac. Let me know if this helps you. Apple let me know if I can have a job!

Trouble with Protected Mode whitelisting and file links

Our system details first: Adobe Reader 11.0.7, Windows 7 SP1 32bit, IE9
We have some documents that contain URLs (file://...) which point to other documents (mostly PDF and DOCX files) on the local harddrive or on remote network shares. Those links work perfectly fine when Protected Mode is turned off - you click on it, IE opens and displays the document (PDF) or prompts you to open/download it (DOCX). As soon as you turn on Protected Mode those links stop working completely and I can see an access denied entry in the AdbeReaderBroker.log. All as expected.
Where it get's weird is that the links still don't work even if I whitelist nearly everything. I can click on them and nothing happens, they don't even generate an entry in the broker logfile anymore. Just so you have an idea, here is my current whitelist used for testing:

So the policies get applied, Protected Mode isn't blocking anything anymore, the links still don't work and now I'm out of ideas. I also tried all of this with the Trust Manager setting "Allow opening of non-PDF file attachments with external applications" turned on, same situation.
I hope someone here can point me in the right direction, maybe I'm missing something completely obvious here.
Edit for people having the same issue:
After some further testing it became clear that the issue only occurs when the PDF containing the hyperlinks is created using the built in PDF generator of Word 2010. PDFs generated with Adobe Acrobat Professional work just fine and can also open the applications directly without opening IE first. I'm not sure about the exact difference in the generated link, Word seems to generate file:// URLs which I can access with right click -> Copy Link Location, something that's not possible for the links generated by Acrobat.

Troubles with timeout using java.nio.channels and non-blocking sockets

I have a server application that employs java.nio.channels with non-blocking sockets.
The server waits for connections. The client should connect and be first in sending data.
Timeouts are significant! If client exceeds the allowed time to send data, the server should break the connection.
The huge trouble I've discovered that I cannot control the timeout when client connects but remains silent.
My code looks as follows:

Timeouts are easily controlled by reading and writing threads (see OP_READ and OP_WRITE ).
But when a client just connects without consequent data send, the state of this connection remains as OP_ACCEPT. The connection remains open for arbitrarily large time and I cannot control it!
Please help with idea how can I terminate such connections!

How can I process the keys that weren't selected at the bottom of the loop? Should I use the method keys() ?Yes. Form a new set from keys() and removeAll(selectedKeys()). Do that before you process selectedKeys().
And the second moment: as I understood a single key may contain several operations simultaneously? Thus I should use several if's (but not if/else 'cause it's the equivalent of switch ... case ).If there is anything unclear about 'your switch statement is invalid. You need an if/else chain' I fail to see what it is. Try reading it again. And if several ifs were really the equivalent of "switch ... case", there wouldn't be a problem in the first place. They're not, and there is.

Cloud trouble with downloading Vectorworks file from mail

I just recently switched to the cloud from mobile me and realized my imac didn't have Lion so I'm having to access email through internet rather than through MAIL. Before the switch, I could receive Vectorworks files via email and drag to my desktop and then open in that application. Now, the file comes in as a .vwx but I get the message "There is no application set to open the document" It then asks if I want to choose an application on my computer but it won't let me choose Vectorworks. What happened?

Will it open the file if you launch Vectorworks first (from the Dock or Applications folder), then use the File -> Open command from within program (and select the .vwx file)?
If you have control over sending the email with .vwx attachment, it may work if it is compressed into a zip file, then attached to the email. At the receiving end, detach from email and uncompress the file. On a Mac, compressing can be done with a right (or Control) click on the file in a Finder window, then select the Compress <file name> command. To uncompress a zip file, just double-click it in a Finder window.

Trouble with People Picker When Adding an InfoPath form to a form library

I have a site in SharePoint 2013 with a Form Library that uses an InfoPath form as its default template. Everything was originally created in 2010 (SharePoint 2010 / InfoPath 2010). When we upgraded to SP2013, I still had InfoPath 2010 and I noticed that
the people picker wasn't working (if I recall, I would just get ignored if I tried to click to open the address book). I have now upgraded to Office 2013, but when I click to open the address book for the people picker, InfoPath crashes.
I did some googling and tried the solution I found here:

But changing the web.config caused the people picker in SharePoint to break (if I tried to add someone to a group, the picker would tell me that it couldn't communicate with the server).
