Trouble with play back

I have two monitors one computer monitor that I have hooked straight into my computer. The second a TV I have hooked to my sony DSR 11 and DVD player. I use the TV as a playback monitor. My problem is at times the TV won't play back from the time line. It will freeze the last spot on the time line. You can hear the audio on the TV but the picture is frozen. I can go to a differen't sequence and that sequence plays back fine. Is there a better way to use the TV as a Playback Monitor or am I doing something wrong.

What video format is your Sequence set for? Is the Canvas window set larger than 100% or larger than "Fit to Window?" How many overlays are turned on in the Canvas window?

Trouble with playing my podcast since the update of the ipod

since the update of the ipod that came along with itunes 7, i have been having trouble with playing my podcast as a playlist through my pioneer ipod adaptor system. everything had been working perfectly until this update. i have tried to reset the ipod 3 times but the problem eventually returns. please advise.

Issues with play back in the time line

I am having issues with play back in the time line.
am working with footage captured off a DVCAM Tape in a DV/DVCPRO NTSC Time line.
My settings are set to match the source footage so I dont have to render. What ends up happening is the footage at times plays fine and smooth and then out of no where it will start playing choppy. like its lagging. But the Audio stay fine. I use to have to problem before but then it stopped.
Now its back and I can not figure out why it does this. Usually a restart of the system would help solve it but now it still keeps coming back.
i have tried different settings in the RT menu and still seem to be having the same problem.
i am running the footage of 3 1TB drives in Raid0 and the System has 16GB of Ram. So I dont see this being the issue.
any ideas?

of course not, the system boots from a 320GB Western Digital Hard Drive. (the one that came with the system)
I have a feeling that its not the Hard Drive, but no idea what it could be.

Trouble with Playing Video Files

I have a new macbook pro and I am having trouble playing video files. It seems like it is having trouble with the size of the file. I need to get this figured out because I will be doing a lot of work with video including using final cut to edit. Any suggestions for me to speed up video play?

Troubles with playing out from Final Cut Studio to a camera

hello!
have troubles when playing out to a DV camcorder. i 've got a mac mini intel, final cut studio and 2 sony DV cameras with dv in.
capturing works fine, but when i put the captured movie to the timeline, then on both cameras there are 4 small bars (2 vertical, 2 horizontal), which shows some content of the captured files. the rest of the display stays black. looks very strange.
tried to reinstall quicktime, tried to erase quicktime receipts and quicktime settings.. it worked then, but just for one time. after restarting the mac the same problem occured.

Trouble with playing ourchased music on iPod

I just bought a new MacBook after my PC died. I imported my iTunes music library on to the Mac, and everything plays perfectly. I reformatted my 160GB iPod Classic (it had been formatted for Windows) and then transferred all the music and playlists on to it. I have discovered that many songs just stop playing mid-song and it's dead silent or it skips to the next song. It ONLY happens with music that was purchased from iTunes. Last night I reformatted the ipod again, and again put all the music back. I have found that the problem was fixed for some songs, but now it's happening with many other songs off the purchased list. Suggestions would be welcomed. thanks!

Trouble with Playing Rental Movies from iTunes

I rented a movie on iTunes (on my apple TV). It started to play after about 5 minutes, no problem. Then after about 50 minutes, I went into Menu, by mistake while trying to pause the movie.... That's it.... cant get back to the movie afer that.
The movie was no where to be found. When i searched again and found the movie, it allowed me to rent it again - on selecting play option, it said movie already rented but not download and to 'download' it go into Menu>iTunes Store>Check for Rentals.
I do that and it just seems to go on endlesslu without anything happening.
Why cant i just play the movie again?
Any suggestions please

This got sorted out.
I chose a diffent itunes store.
then came back to the original store and i can view the rental movies

Trouble with playing songs

I downloaded my library, songs, podcasts, videos etc... but when I hit the "Ipod" button it goes directly to the music library. The screen changes from vertical to horizontal and all I can do is play songs. I cannot get back to the main Ipod screen. Any help???

If you live in a Region that allows re-downloading Music...
Delete the Song(s) and re-download...

Trouble with playing iTunes TV Shows.

When I try to play my iTunes TV Shows I just get a flickering green screen. When I move the mouse the screen turns black, but then goes back to the green screen. The sound works fine.
Any ideas?

I'm getting a similar problem too having tried turning off directx and all of apples other suggested solutions. After paying to download Lost I would expect decent playback on itunes/quicktime instead of the video hanging for 5 seconds every minute. The annoying thing is it looks as if I can't even alter the cache to improve playback performance

Trouble with playing music

My ITunes has suddently started playing only a few seconds of a song when I'm trying to play a CD. Then, it goes to the next song in the list and this keeps happening for the whole list of songs. I've rebooted my computer and made sure I had the latest update for ITunes.
Any suggestions?

simply downloaded the music from itunes then sync'd my iphone recently got icloud on my phone will have something to do with it??
seems to always need internet conection to play these songs!! and when im on a plane it wont play them at all (internet blocked on plane)
any hints on what to look for

Trouble with playing movie clips

PLEASE can someone help?
I have just imported video footage from my old Sony Handycam and all that appears on the event library is single grey squares...clips? It takes forever for the beachball to stop whizzing - don't understand it.
It tried to watch previously imported videos and they seem to work ok.

Also, one of the "events" shows every single frame and is jerky when I ask it to play.

Trouble with playing videos (audio!)

Hi, I recently bought a new iPod and wanted to upload some videos, but somehow iTunes doesn't acknowledge the fact that I want to import them. Surprisingly it happens only to certain movies (usually the longest ones). And then there's the other problem with audio - when I convert the selected movie to fit the iPod and whatnot, the sound magically disappears. Both in iTunes and the iPod.
HELP anyone? Please?

QuickTime Control Panel / Advanced tab.
Check the box to use "Safe mode" for the video.
Quit and relaunch QuickTime Player and try the file again.

Trouble with Z10 backing up using link

I have never been able to back up my Z10 using Link. I've just updated the software to the latest version of link and it still gets to about 2% (which is more than it's ever been able to do before) and then fails.
Media synchronisation seems to work fine, it just won't backup.
I have president's choice recipe box app, but it wouldn't back up before this either.

I would suggest trying a backup without including the application data. Follow these steps:
In BlackBerry Link click on the BlackBerry at the bottom and click on Settings at the top. Put a checkmark for select data to include in your backup files and add checkmarks to all except Application data. Then click on Back up now.

Need help with - playing back to back multiple .swf files

I have four .swf files namely, 1.swf, 2.swf, 3.swf and 4.swf
I have linked these files to buttons that can play these
movies individually without any problem and the movieloads it
automatically starts 1.swf movie and plays it completely.
However, what I'd like to to do is have these movies
onloading start playing automatically from 1.swf to 4.swf as a
continous play and give the user the ability to click on a button
to skip and play any of the four .swf files.
The code I have for currently is as follows:

you'll need to either use code in the loaded swfs or create a
loop in your main swf that repeatedly checks the _currentframe of
the loaded swf and when that equals the loaded swf's _totalframes,
you'll load the next swf.

New ipod touch 4th gen, trouble with playing ipod in 06 Ford Focus?

Ive recently gotten a 4th gen Ipod Touch brand new and everything. I tried to plug it into my 06 Ford Focus which has the HD Radio Simple brand, and for some reason it shows what song im playing yet won't play it over the car stereo. Its rediculous and all it says on my Ipod was that "this accessory is not supported by Ipod Touch" even though that is exactly what is advertised in the "Simple" radio system!! In the manuel it says that I need to download the latest firmware?? I checked the Apple website and could'nt find it, i have no clue what to do.
