Trouble with Serial time delay

hi,i need help.
my problem is that there are no output and input parameter is changing very fast,but subvi has results only when the subvi runs in the process of highlight.
i think it might because of time delay,but i don't kown how to correct it.

I cannot open your VIs. It appears that the language differences may be an issue. LabVIEW does not recognize them as valid LV files.
Generally when a VI runs correctly with Highlight Execution on and does not run correctly with it off, it is an indication that there are timing issues in the VI.
If you are reconfiguring the serial ports in the 54 module version, you may not be allowing enough time for port to get set up before attempting to communicate. Do you have 54 different serial ports? What kind of hardware are you using for the ports?

Trouble with phone time/clock galaxy s4

i have had trouble with the time on my phone. it is always slow after about 5 hours it will be 45 min off. does anyoone have asolution?

They are called copper "pairs" because of the two cables inside, the A leg and the B leg. The A is the earth and the B is the battery. You need both working for voice as that is how things have been since year dot but BB only uses one of the two, (not sure which but probably the B thinking about it!). Step motor control with a time delay

Hi all,
I am trying to control a step motor to move in vertical direction by Labview2010. The specific Labview function blocks are created by the manufacturer of the step motor. Now the axis can move up/down properly but my question is that I want it to move with a time interval. For example, we set the desired position to 10mm and waiting time 1s. When I click on the start button once only the axis moves 1mm and wait 1s. Then axis moves another 1mm and wait 1s. This action will obviously repeat 10 times until the axis reaches 10mm position.
I will be very thankful if someone could give me some hints.

You should some more to the code so that it's more reliable. There might be some miscalculation between the travel distance and the resolution, i.e. 5mm travel and 2mm resolution will give the forloop 2,5. This should be either 2 or 3. I'm not quite sure how the for loop handles this. I think it will round to nearest. You should anyways check it out. Also avoid using 0mm.

Having trouble with Face Time app, get following error messages

Since having a new hard drive installed in computer my Face Time account no longer works. Everytime i try and sign into my Face Time account= get following error message
"the server encountered an error processing registration. Please try again later.
= when try and install the app from mac store error message says
"A newer version of this app is already installed on this computer
If you want to replace it with this version, move the existing app to the trash.
BUT WHEN TRY TO DELETE APP ON COMPUTUER (AS IT IS NOT WORKING)
Get following error message " Face Time.app" can't be modified or deleted because it is required by Mac OS X.

This could be a complicated problem to solve, as there are many possible causes for it. Test after taking each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Back up all data before making any changes.
Before proceeding, test on another network, if possible. That could be a public Wi-Fi hotspot, if your computer is portable, or a cellular network if you have a mobile device that can share its Internet connection. If you find that iMessage works on the other network, the problem is in your network or at your ISP, not in your computer.
Step 1
Check the status of the service. If the service is down, wait tor it to come back up. There may be a localized outage, even if the status indicator is green.
Step 2
Restart your broadband device and your router, if different. You may have to skip this step if you don't control those devices.
Step 3
From the menu bar, select
 ▹ About This Mac
Below the "OS X" legend in the window that opens, the OS version appears. Click the version line twice to display the serial number. If the number is missing or obviously invalid, take the machine to an Apple Store or other authorized service center to have the problem corrected.
Step 4
Back up all data, then take the steps suggested in this support article.
There are five steps in that article. Please take all of them. If you don't understand some of the steps or can't carry them out, ask for guidance.
Step 5
From the menu bar, select
 ▹ System Preferences ▹ Network
If the preference pane is locked, click the lock icon in the lower left corner and enter your password to unlock it. Then click the Advanced button and select the Proxies tab. If any proxy options are selected, make a note of them and then deselect them. You don’t need to change the bypass or FTP settings. Click OK and then Apply. Test. The result may be that you can't connect to any web server. Restore the previous settings if that happens.

Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
If iMessage worked in the guest account, stop here and post your results.
Step 8
Boot in safe mode and log in. Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including Wi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and test again.
If iMessage worked in safe mode, but didn't work when you booted out of safe mode, stop here and post your results.
Step 9
According to one anecdotal report, Flash Player may interfere with iMessage, though I don't know how and can't confirm. To test this theory, select from the menu bar
 ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Storage
and click
Block all sites from storing information on this computer
Close the preference pane. If this action solves the problem, please post your results.
Step 10
Boot into Recovery and reinstall OS X.
Step 11
If none of the above steps resolves the issue, make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or contact Apple Support.

I am having trouble with my Time Machine on Snow Leopard

I am using 10.6.8 and have a 500Gb internal hard drive. No partitions. No external drives back up to my 1.5Tb (no partitions, entirely dedicated to Time Machine backup) hard drive. The error message appears as:
Time Machine Error
"This backup is too large for the backup disk.
The backup requires 456.65 GB but only 34.73 GB are available."
I have been reading different threads and have gone to Pondini's website but have not found the answer. I installed Time Machine Buddy and here is what it says for yesterday:
"Starting standard backup
Error -35 while resolving alias to backup target
Backup failed with error: 19"
And for today:
"Starting standard backup
Backing up to: /Volumes/Time Machine Backups/Backups.backupdb
Backup content size: 456.9 GB excluded items size: 103.8 GB for volume Macintosh HD
Starting pre-backup thinning: 425.29 GB requested (including padding), 32.34 GB available
No expired backups exist - deleting oldest backups to make room
Error: backup disk is full - all 0 possible backups were removed, but space is still needed.
Backup Failed: unable to free 425.29 GB needed space
Backup failed with error: Not enough available disk space on the target volume.
Stopping backupd to allow ejection of backup destination disk!"
Those are the only 2 messages that it lists.
Any help to get me backing up again would be greatly appreciated!

First off, thank you so much to everyone who is trying to help! I really appreciate it!
I opened the "backups.backupdb" folder as you suggested "jeffreyfromtas" and found 2 folders:
dvlynn's iMac and
dvlynn's iMac 2.
The 1st folder seems to contain all the backups from the 1st time it backed up in Sept. 2010 until the last time it backed up without error in January of this year.
The 2nd folder contains one file titled "2014-01-03-175020.inProgress"
I purchased this time machine backup drive in 2010 after the origional drive on my iMac crashed and was replaced. When that happened my system was updated to Snow Leopard where it is now. The only major changes I have made are that I moved a lot of large video files off my main drive onto external hard drives to make more room on the iMac.
Other than that everything has stayed the same.
I'm asking it what size the 2 folders are but it's taking forever to answer and I venture to guess it will be 99.99% in the 1st folder and 0.01% in the second folder.
Let me know if that makes any sense.

Creation of followup task with a time delay.

Hi experts,
We are configurating a scenario where in a activity should generate a followup task automatically after 30 min.
I have configured the above using the action profile and date profile. I have used the start condition as : & planned start date from & < & current date + time&
( I have defined the date rule as : planned start date from = Today + 30 min )
and selected schedule automatically option.
The problem is the task is created only if I edit the activity after 30 min.
What more needs to be done for automatic triggering of task without opening the activity.
Is there any program needs to be running at regural intervals for automating executing of actions?
Kindly suggest me how to go about this.

I have tried by using the same condition in scheduling conditions also.
I dont think there is any problem with the conditions.Because I could able to see the task when I edit the original activity after 5 min.
The task should be generated automatically without going to the activity.

Trouble with serial number for upgrade install

I am trying to upgrade from photoshop cs2 to cs4 with a purchased upgrade disc (on my imac). The installer requested my cs2 serial number and it is telling me the serial number does not match the product. I know for a fact this serial number does match as I have installed cs2 on all my macs with no problem. What do I do from here? The only other option it gives me is to run as a 30 day trial, and that is unacceptable.

Trouble with quick time installation

whenever i try to install quick time the installer gives me the message "there is a problem with this windows installer package. a program required for this install to complete could not be run." i have tried uninstalling and re installing, repairing the installation, installing an older version of quick time, and using the windows installer cleanup program but none of it has worked this problem also occurs when trying to install itunes

Did you ever resolve this issue with quicktime? I noticed your name is on a lot of the forums that post questions regarding quicktime and itunes updates and problems with Bonjour, so I thought I'd ask you for help:
I bought a new computer in February with Windows 7. I was never able to get quicktime to work properly and now when my computer tells me I need to update, it keeps giving me error messages:
"Errors occurred while installing the updates. If the problem persists, choose Tools-Download Only and try installing manually." I did that and when I choose Itunes it gives me this message:
"Service 'Bonjour Service' failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services." I tried that thing you suggested on another string of giving myself "permission" under the security tabs. It didn't work.
Please help -- is this a Windows 7 thing?

Trouble with initial Time Capsule backup

I have just installed Time Capsule, and attempted the initial backup. The initial backup always fails with the error message "disk image cannot be created". After this failure, the "Airport Utility" will not recognise the Time Capsule, although the Time Capsule continues with a green light and the internet connection still works through Time Capsule. I have to reset Time Capsule for "Airport Utility" to recognise it again each time the backup fails with the error message above. Any ideas on how to correct the error and do the intial backup?

I switched this year after using WIN for years.
I cannot get my Time Capsule to work. I tried everything in the 'forums', re-booted several times, changed the name of the Capsule, re-set, unplugged, used paper clips etc. I thought MAC's just 'worked' too. Not so far. I'm confident I will get it working even if I have to call Apple but I thought I'd read the fixes here first.
I can see the drive in the finder. I have moved iTunes files over to the Time Cap so it's saving other files but I keep getting a 'unable to mount' message when I try to do a backup. Even deleted the 'sparse' bundle file (can't delete one of the files, 'bands' in use message) but still no worky.
Still convinced Mac is a better system. Just put off on not being able to backup my MacBookPro...Not to mention the 300 bucks for the Time Capsule...

Trouble with Extending Time capsule

Hi
I have a new 2TB time capsule and I am trying to extend it via a wireless extender (T-Link). I have set up the extender Ok with the same SSID and password and the Time Capsule MAC address and the extender connects fine and I have full internet connectivity through it and the Time Capsule.
All seems good but, airport utility tells me that through the extender the time capsule itself is not on the network!
I get a green dot for Internet (correct as I do have internet connection) but a yellow triangle for the Time capsule. This also seems correct as if a try to run time machine, it tells me the time capsule is not in the ntework
If I move my macair within range of the Time capsule (rather than the extender) switch wifi off then on again, I now get access to the time caspule again! Same network ID is used throughout.
Any ideas? The disk is shared correctly as I back up two machines (macair and a PC) through the airport utilty and the both connect fine direct to the Time Capsule, but internet only through the extender to the time capsule

Unfortunately, no chnage from doing a hard reset (pressing button while applying power).
Network has been set up with original settings again and I still have Tme Capsule and Internet via wifi to Time capsule but only Internet if wifi via the extender.
The extender is T-Link WA-830RE if any help.
Any other suggestion appreciated.
If I can't fix this, my fall back will have to be using the time capsule as an extender for my old wifi (currently disabled but built in as part of my cable modem) but this is just bg.

Do you want to change all similar documents to open with the application 'Terminal'?"
I've clicked "Cancel".
I note that on the iMac on which Facetime works well, the "applecamera.plugin" file is present. So what's to be gained by deleting it even if I could delete it?

Trouble with my time machine and macbook pro

I had my macbook pro's screen repaired because the it kept going black. It was not the video card, but a faulty screen. I just got it home and plugged my time machine into the computer. Now I can't browse any of my old backups on the time machine. It acts as if they were never there. Nothing except for what was just added to the time machine today is there. I live 2 hours away from the closest Apple store and my Apple care plan ended. I work as staff for a business and they need me to be able to browse the backups. The time machine was working perfectly before I had the computer repaired. Is it possible that they changed something on my computer so it doesn't reconize my files? Is there a way that I can change it back or fix this problem myself?
I just called Apple store and they told me that there is basically no way that I will be able to get access to my old files because they changed out something in my computer when they repaired the screen. If you know of any other way that I can still have access to these files let me know! On a PC you can plug an external into any computer and access files. My files are still on my Time Machine. I just can't access them. Please help me.
