Trouble with viewing "Now Playing"

My 30GB Video iPod was working fine until a few weeks ago when the Now Playing screen started only displaying album artwork. It does everything else fine, plays games and lists songs, but Now Playing just doesn't work and it's driving me crazy because I don't like to use shuffle mode this way.
I've tried reseting all settings, all my software is up to date, and everything else is working fine. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Problem with the "now playing"-function after timer sleep-mode

At first: sorry for my english.
I have the following problem with the Nano 6G: I set the timer of my iPod Nano to shut it down after a while of playing. When I turn it back on afterwards, the now-playing-button does not show the song that it played at last. Instead of that the nano is automatically set to shuffle mode which was not activated before and the now-playing-button will show any other song randomly.
This does not happen when I switch it to sleep-mode with the button on the top, only when the sleepmode ist activated by the timer.
Does anyone notice the same issue with his nano? How can I bring my nano to play the same song after the sleepmode, that it played before?

Hey Ipaqman, that strange behavior of the Nano 6G annoys me for exactly the same reason: audiobook in bed + sleeptimer = losing the place. As You say, the 5G works better with that and I also hope that Apple takes notice of that issue and will solve it.
Until that I got myself a "workaround". I create a new playlist on the device, with just the single audiobook in it, that is actually in use. This helps me finding back into it, as long as "now playing" will not work correctly with the sleeptimer.

Trouble with viewing SWF in a PDF

1st set-up:
Mac OS X 10.4.11
Adobe CS3 Premium (ID CS3 & Flash CS3)
QuickTime 7.5
Acrobat 8 Pro
Acrobat Reader 8
On this system I created a PDF in InDesign CS3 adding in a swf file as an intro. I edited the PDF and created some functionality for the iPDF (interactive PDF) in Acrobat 8 Pro. The iPDF plays great and I'm happy. BUT... then I transferred the same iPDF to my other system.
2nd set-up:
Mac OS X 10.5.5
Adobe CS3 Premium (ID CS3 & Flash CS3)
QuickTime Pro 7.5.5
Acrobat 8 Pro
Acrobat Reader 9
On this system, when the iPDF is viewed, the embedded swf intro appears to load, but the status bar just says, "buffering". The swf doesn't play. I changed the settings for the file to use the flash player instead of QuickTime but nothing changes. I tried this again with a different file with a different embedded swf file with the same results. My coworker had the same problem when he upgraded systems. He could view the iPDF before but not after his upgrade.
I checked quite a few resources and this forum but have not come across anyone with the same issue. Does anyone here know of the issue and maybe a work-around or possibly a solution?

Acrobat 8 and earlier depend on QuickTime to handle SWF files. But QuickTime now only supports very old versions of Flash. Hence SWF support is broken.
However, Acrobat 9 and Reader 9 use Flash Runtime and handle SWF and FLV files natively. They don't require QuickTime to handle these formats.

Trouble with Viewer Builder 1.4

Hello,
Does anybody still works with Content Bundler and Viewer Builder (Drop11 tools)?
I made a folio file with Content Bundler (Beta v0.2.8.16953) and InDesign CS5.
Now I try to create my *.ipa and *.zip files through Viewer Builder (v1.4).
Everything seems to work fine till I try to download the *.ipa and *.zip files.
After a few minutes, an error message appears: "Viewer Builder error, connection failed".
However, two (parts of) files are downloaded, 2,3 Mo each, and nothing to do with them.
My first try was on last friday, trouble remains today.
I tried today using different folio files, same results...
Anybody to answer?

Trouble with QT movie playing on Window systems.

I created a website using iWeb and included a movie page with a QT file compressed MPG4 streaming for the web. The file will not play in Internet Explorer. A message pops up that says missing components to play this file. It checks the QT site for updates and says there are none available. The QT logo goes away, the play button appears, screen stays white, I hit play and can hear the sound but no video.
Anyone know where to get the right plugins to make this work? Anyone know of a different QT file I should be creating to make this work?

iWeb uses QuickTime version 7 and all of the "preset" export options create files that can also only be viewed using version 7.
The alert messages a PC gets are informing them of this codec version and some PC's (Win 98 for example) can't be updated to use version 7.
You can use "custom" exports to avoid the H.264 video codec (the only one that requires QT 7) to avoid this message.
Your files may be slightly larger in file size when using these custom exports and it's best you understand the compression schemes before using them.
Easier to ask your PC using friends to download and install the newest version of QuickTime. Those that want to view your QT video files will do it.

Trouble with viewing mode MONITOR

There is a way to use viewing mode MONITOR in WPT (web publish tool) with my front pannel minimized??
I used WTP to create a web monitor, it display snapshots every 60 seconds. It works fine if my FP is maximized. But if I minimize the FP, the web monitor only displays a gray square.
How can I use a web monitor when FP is minimized???????

Keep the front panel window open.
Programmatically
adjust the front panel position to detect when the window is minimized
and then compensate for the position change. See the attached VI
(written for LV 8.5) as an example of this workaround.
1.- I can´t use this because I must minimize the application.
2.- I tried to use this one, but I didn´t find the control`s position to compensate the change.
I solve this trouble using a 3 way:
1.- I ask for FP. State.
2.- If FP.State = minimized, I set FP.Transparency = 100 and FP.state = maximized.
3.- I get the image using FP.get image method, and save it.
4.- Return FP.TRansparency to 0 and FP.state to minimized
for the publishing I didn´t use WTP, I wrote a html file (attached as a .txt file) that load the image created every 20seconds

I purchased Lion, because I was having trouble with Safari, now I have more problems......

I cant use some of my software programs now because they were for MAC but power based. I wish Apple said that before taking my money. I am unemployed and cant go out and buy all new software.
In addition Lion is not recognizing my usual USB2 cables that always used to work for iPhone charging purposes - they work to connect the iPhone to the computer - and see the iPhone in iTunes, but it wont let me charge the iPhone, the iPhone gives the error message something like charging not supported with this .....
has anyone been able to get anything to work after upgrading to LION?

Which operating system are you running? Not sure, click the apple on the left of the menu bar, the click about this mac. It will say version 10.6.x or 10.7.x.

Trouble with viewing font on spine of Photo book. I can't find a way to view and edit the text which appears on the spine of the dustcover or the book itself when printed.

I can't find a way to view and edit the text which appears on the spine of the dustcover or the photo book itself. When I preview the book it appears on the dustcover and the book, but not when I'm back in the creation or editing windows. I've printed 4 books in a series and two spines are one font size, and two others are a different font size. One of the books has a shortened title on the book spine.

The text on the spine will be the same text that is in the Title text box on the title page. You can change the font and style of that text just like you change any text in Aperture. Aperture will size and center the spine text for you
If you want the content or the font and style of the text to be different from your Title box text then you have to trick the program a bit. Put the text that you want in the spine into the Title text box and then move that box to a place on the page where it will not be visible when printed ( Y coordinate -1.0 inches for example). Don't move it too far away or it will be hard to get back to in order to make an edit. Then make a new text box on the title page and put the text you want on the cover in that. (Or make a book without text on the cover , but with text on the spine).
You are 100% correct in that you can not preview this unless you preview the printed book

    I bought the Advanced BSP Programming book and from the CD which came along with it, instead of importing the request, I created the CLASSES, BSP EXTENSIONS, VIEW, CONTROLLER. I created the Extensions - ZDIALOG, ZDOWNLOAD, ZF4HELP; and the related CLASSES from these folders. Also created the dummy.htm, InputHelpV2.bsp, simpleTest.htm and InputHelpV2.do in my own BSP application.
    Everything seems to be fine, except InputHelpV2.bsp, which is giving as error in all the locations on the page, where it's mentioned - "model->". For Eg. model->iframe_id, it says, Field "IFRAME_ID" is unknown.
    I have specified the following in the Page Attributes - model     TYPE REF TO     ZCL_BSP_M_INPUT_HELP.
In ZCL_BSP_M_INPUT_HELP, I have pasted the definition part of the code given in the CD under Local Class Definition and the implementation part in Local Class Implementations.
    Can you please tell me, why the error on the View pops up?

Well ZCL_ES_BSP_ELMNT_INPUT_HELP_V2 is the handler class for a BSP Extension Element. The class will be generated automatically. You then use SE80 (the class builder) to add your method implementation.
It sounds like you should perhaps spend some time reading up on the ABAP Workbench and ABAP OO before you spend too much time in the BSP world. Some of the examples from the book are quite advanced (such as the value help) and rely on a good foundation in ABAP OO - as does using BSP in general. It would be wise to invest this time and avoid frustation.

Trouble with viewing online PDF documents

Every time I try to view an online pdf document, I get a black screen that tells me to open Adobe Reader and accept the end-user agreement. I cannot figure out how to do this. Please help!

Launch the desktop application first.
On Windows it's Start>All Programs>Adobe Reader XI
On Mac OS X it's in the Applications folder under the path /Applications/Adobe Reader XI
After launching you "should" be presented with a EULA screen to Accept the licensing agreement.

Hi guys , when I tap a song on my iPod touch it plays the wrong song and sometimes it comes up with the now playing screen but no matter how many times I press play it doesn't play ,what's wrong with my ipod

When I play a song on my iPod it immediately skips a song and sometimes doesn't play any song at all

- Try a reset. It cvures many ills.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync and then resync the music
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory defaults/new iPod.

I am the family share manager and i sent out 2 invites to family members. they were not able to open the invite on the email. Has anyone ran into this problem???

A bit different, I've been sending and resending the invitations under Family Sharing but none of my kids nor wife have yet to receive a single invitation yet to attempt and open and accept ?? Had zero issues updating to Yosemite and IOS 8 across all my devices but family sharing I am spinning my wheels going nowhere. Docs said they can accept actual email or by invite showing up in family sharing under iCloud in System Preferences. Try the other...

I have a little related question about a bug I've got. Would you have any ideas about this?
I've got a bit of a problem with the Now Playing window that should pop open and act as a player-window, with the artwork of the song filling the space. This function was working for me but it's now stopped. When I click on the Now Playing image it tries to open, adding a tab to the task bar, but then I can't expand the window. This has happened before and then righted itself but there must be some reason why it stops. I've recently been updating a lot of song artworks. This could be related. Is this an iTunes bug or is the fault with my computer? Any fixes that you would know of?

C6-01 : Music Player's Now Playing List

Music player in Nokia Belle doent have the 'Now Playing' list option.
So i am not able to add some 10-15 selected songs to 'Now Playing' list. Instead I created a Play List with name 'Now Playing' and every time deleting old entries and adding new ones.
So Pls add this Must-Feature to Nokia Belle Music Player.

HD movies with iTunes extra won't play on Apple TV.Tried to repurchase and message states, "Already purchased, would you like to view now?" Submitted "YES" and am taken to movie's menu with iTunes extra with no tab for 'PLAY'. Menu won't work at all.

Several movies I purchased won't play on Apple TV. They don't show up on my Apple TV menu, and if I search for them, the "Purchase HD movie" tab shows up. When I try to re-purchase, states "Already Purchased- would you like to view now". I answer "YES" and I'm taken to a screen without a "Play" tab. Other tabs such as "Extras" are frozen and don't work. Unable to see the movie or any of the iTunes extras.
