Trouble Zooming Out on iPhone

While using Google Maps and various other feature, when I zoom in, I can never zoom out. One thing that I figured out was if i tap three times it zooms out, and if i tap two times it zooms in. But on Google Maps, it just keeps zooming out. How do I get out of this endless zoom? Help!

You can also zoom in and out with the "pinching" method. Put two of your fingers on screen and bring them closer together (pinching) to zoom out, or spread your fingers father apart to zoom in.

I have another query though. Is it possible to always logged into my Gtalk from iPhone? I am using an app called Gtalk Lite. But every time I double press the home button and swipe up the apps to close them from running in the background Gtalk lite logs me off. I have to log in to Gtalk lite again. I was looking for something like that happens on Android phones. You are always logged in even after you close them from running in the background. And also is it possible to log in to more than one gmail account on Gtalk in iPhone?

Here's what I did. I took songs and right-clicked them and clicked "add to playlist" I clicked on the name of my ipod shuffle, and it appeared in the contents section of my shuffle's zone. I made sure that the checkboxes next to the songs were checked, then clicked sync.

Connect iPhone or iPod touch to your computer.
In iTunes, select your device.
In the Summary pane, click Configure Universal Access in the Options section.
Select the accessibility features that you want to use and click OK. (Select neither to turn off Zoom)
On your phone:
If Zoom is on and you want to zoom out or in, double-tap using three fingers.

Alison, I sympathise with your situation. After 30+ years in the classroom myself I know well the pain that follows the 'upgrade' to the IT system that then won't run your tried and trusted computer program!
Try this on your iPad - it works on mine.
Try going to Settings - General - Accessibility - Zoom and switch it on (it seems to me it's 'off' by default).
Zooming is now controlled by 'three-finger' actions! (although the original two-finger pinch still operates as well, on actual photos though not videos, I find)
Double-tap with three fingers together and slide up the screen to zoom in.
Double-tap and slide down to zoom out.
Simple double-tap three fingers to return to normal size.
This works with videos. In fact it works even 'now', as I'm typing this here in Safari! It works on the 'home screen' itself! - it works in 'Notes'. It seems to work everywhere in iOS 7.1
So, get your video on screen - use three-finger-slide zoom to achieve required zoom level - play.

IWeb site not zooming correctly on iPhone

I am a noobie user of iWeb and have created a web site that will be primarily used on iPads or iPhones. The typical behavior of a website on the iOS is that you can pinch the site to zoom in/out. When I publish my website, it works great on my mac. But on the iPad and especially on the iPhone, the pinch zoom in/out functionality isn't working as I'd like it.
My web page was set up 800 pixels wide. It dwarfs the 480 wide pixels on a iphone. I'd like to zoom out and see the entire page. But when I pinch zoom out, it zooms out until I let go of the screen. It then snaps back to full resolution.
Would someone have some experience with this that could give me some hints what I'm doing wrong here?

Welcome to the discussions. I don't have hands-on experience with this theme, but there is this Apple developers document:
_Safari Web Content Guide_
...In the "Configuring the Viewport" section it says:
"Safari on iOS sets the size and scale of the viewport to reasonable defaults that work well for most webpages (...) *The default width is 980 pixels.* (...) For example, if your webpage is narrower than 980 pixels, then you should set the width of the viewport to fit your web content."
...But before setting the width of the viewport (by adding HTML), I suggest simply making one of your pages 980 pixels wide and seeing if that helps. If it does, you may want to consider that as the solution for all your pages.
By the way, Apple's own design award-winning site at apple.com mostly has a width of 980 pixels.

I execute a zoom effect everytime some one pushes zoom in or zoom out buttons. The trouble is that zoom in and zoom out works fine. However, the gap between two item renderers increase, when I zoom out.
Is there a way that the gap remains fixed?

Zoom in means, within the PageRenderer, I use a Scale effect, which zooms in and out based on an event. The following code is for doing zoom in and zoom out for the PageRenderer. It works fine. However, the vertical/horizontal gaps increases once have a zoomed in and then try to zoom out incrementally. I want to keep the gap between elements same all the time.
If I run this same code, with VerticalLayout, It works great. However, this does not work with TileLayout.

Viewer Window Doesn't Zoom Out

I want to crop down an iPhone footage, because it was shot vertical. Using the crop tool I've reframed shot, but once I hit the done button. It zooms in close to the shot. It's baffling why it would do that. I was unable to find a zoom out key...

Mobile site stretches and zooms out

I'm having trouble with the mobile version of my site.
When viewed on any mobile, it zooms out and has the site on the left, with the footer way down the bottom.
In muse it looks like this:
I've watched the videos, I've unlocked all on every page and selected all and there's nothing on the right anywhere.
It does it on every page so I assume it's something to do with the master so created a new master from scratch but it still does the same thing.
In the preview in Muse it looks correct, other than leaving white space below for the space the accordian menu takes up.
It's getting a little frustrating!

Jan. Update.. No zoom out on Maps?

Simple, however very frustration question: is there no way to zoom out on the maps? Also, when I type in an address, it cannot find it. Is there a special input method to finding specific places? and also is there any way to input names of businesses to find them in a certian city? I might have missed something along the way but I'm having trouble with these issues.

1) you zoom out the same way you zoom in and out from pictures and webpages
2) adresses should usually be something like "street, city, state" or "street, city, country" ... though google maps takes quite a lot of formats. make sure not to abbreviate street with "str.", I found that to cause problems sometimes.
3) just move/zoom the map to get the map-section of the area where you want to find a buisness in (so for example your home city). then type in the buisness name. pins will pop down for every search result.

Jgreg14 you have my sympathies. 36 hours ago while using my iPad I was told that my Apple ID had been disabled. Like you I went to the forums, reset my password, and also like you, nothing changed. I have contacted iTunes support and after 24 hours they responded with this:
