Troubles Importing Songs Onto Zen Mi

When I go into my MediaOrganizer, it recognizes that my Zen Micro 5GB is connected. OK so now I click that and it is in folders now, and it never was before. Before being that I had to uninstall all my Creative stuff and all the drivers and re-install as the computer didn't recognize my Zen. So that is fixed but now it's in folders so OK whatever. The folders are Music, My Playlists, and My Recordings. Then I click into my 'Music' folder in my Zen. Ok, it is empty as it should be. I click to import files, and click a few songs. Import them and instead of it going to my?Zen it goes into the PC Music Library. At first I thought it had to be in there to be imported to my Zen. So if I try to re-import the same song the same way I just described, it says the file is already there. It's really frustrating me. Any ideas?Shaker876

No ideas from anybody?!?

Did you purchase them on your iPad with the same Apple ID that you are using for iTunes on your iPhone and that iTunes on your Mac is sign into?

  • Import song FROM Zen TO Compu

    Hi!
I'd like to know if it's possible to import songs from the Creative Zen to any computer?Or are there any restrictions, such as the one that exists with the Sony Minidisc?
Is there a maximum times a song can be import and export?
    Tell me everythings :-)
    Thanks
    yannick
ps: sorry for my bad english, I'm frenchspeaker :-)

All right, sorry, I'm asking a lot of questions, that might be details, but since the zen micro is not that cheap, I wanna be sure ;-)
So, with the Creative ZEN Micro, I can import from the device TO the PC any song pr?viously transfered from any computer? I'm not talking about the UMS function, only with the regular use of this mp3 device (not as a harddri've!)...
It is possible through the usual sotware given with ZEN MICRO?
    Thanks a lot!!

  • Importing Songs on Zen Mi

I used to be able to import songs. But now, all it says is "failed". It used to do this from time to time, but I would either restart the computer or plug it back into the USB cord and it would then most of the time, work fine. Im not sure what's wrong, but whenever I try importing songs, they always fail. When I try "organizing the music in device" it shows that there isn't any songs in the media library. I have no clue what is going on. All help is APPRECIATED. Thank you!

Im thinking... deleting all my files (about 000) on my micro, that would solve the problem. But then, taking the risk of it still not allowing me to import files... please help!

  • Trouble Importing Songs Into New PC

I got a new PC running VISTA. I import songs and they disappear from the
library. Some songs are purchased, some are CD's that I have in my home library.
Most of the purchased music I'm having problems with is over a year old. However, some of the tracks I purchased at the same time are o.k. and stay in the library. I am going to File > Add Folder To Library. Then the window
pops up and I select the folder containing the songs. It looks like it works
but several minutes later, some of the songs are missing (! by the name).
I have tried the following (from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1727)
Burn a data CD or DVD with the song files
Burn the song files to a data CD or DVD. Once you've burned the disc, insert it into another computer and import the songs into iTunes.
    External hard drive
Drag files to the disk icon of an external hard drive connected to your computer. Connect the hard drive to the other computer, and import the songs into iTunes. You can also use your iPod as a hard disk.

What kind of "Limerwire" files are you trying to import? Pirated files? - Sorry but there won't be any help on how to use pirated files on this board.

  • Trying to import songs onto CD but says not in MP3 format

So, I was trying to burn some CDs yesterday off of my iTunes and the blank CD was detected by iTunes - but once I created the playlist and clicked on Burn, it said that all the songs had problems with them because they weren't in MP3 format.
I went into the Preferences and realized that the setting that I had had it on when importing new songs into iTunes was not for MP3 so I quickly changed it. I reimported one of my CDs that I had bought a while back and replaced the files with the MP3 files and then tried to burn the CD and it worked.
I really don't want to have to do that with all my CDs that I had already put into iTunes by importing the songs. I noticed that there was a "Convert selection into MP3 format" option when you right click in the playlist but once I did that and tried to burn it- the blank CD wouldn't recognize it as MP3 format.
Please someone tell me that I don't have to reimport all my CDs again!!!!!

When you rightclick a song and hit "Convert to MP3" it made copys in MP3 but kept the original AAC files on the PC and in iTUnes.
All you have to do is go thru and find all the AAC files and delete them by highlighting them and hitting the "DEL" key on the keyboard so it removes them from itunes AND puts them in the recycle bin

  • Trouble loading songs onto iPhone

We have our main library on our home computer, and the entire family of five uses one iTunes account to buy songs from the 5 authorized computers to their respective libraries.
One daughter has a laptop which is one of the 5 authorized computers on the account.
Daughter has an iPhone which we are trying to transfer songs to from either the home library via Home Share (copying directly) or via transferring into her laptop library via Home Share and then dragging to iPhone (note that I am able to plug daughter's iPhone directly into the home computer and drag songs into the phone and then play them from there.)
While we can drag songs into the laptop library any way we want, what we can't do is drag them onto the iPhone to play.
Am I missing something regarding "authorization" or is there some setting that we don't have right?
    Thanks,
    Mark

On the old version of itunes when i plugged in, an icon saying "Jay's ipod" would come up. now it says HP Administrator comes up when i plug in. Also, I have checked "sync only checked items" and have restored but now i don't get all the checked items and also cannot add my previous playlists. I am manually managing my music and selected on the summary page "sync music" and checked "selected playlists" but i cannot add all those playlists. I'll try again. thanks for your help.

  • How to import songs onto iPod from two computers?

this probably was posted before, but is there anyway to upload songs from two different computers?
i have songs on my mom's computer that i dont have on my dads.

Try turning off auto-update. Right click your iPod, and go to iPod Options. Under music, click 'manually manage songs and playlist.' It should work after that. You will probabl have to do it on both computers.

  • Import songs onto CD

I updated my itunes last night, and tried to burn a playlist to a cd today. The burn to CD button isn't there, nor is there any option in the file menu even though itunes recognizes there is a cd in the drive and prompts me to click on the burn button. Right clicking on the playlist also does not give me any results. Help!

When you rightclick a song and hit "Convert to MP3" it made copys in MP3 but kept the original AAC files on the PC and in iTUnes.

  • Importing songs onto GarageBand on iPad

Hello, I'm new to Apple support. Anyways, I have the new iPad with GarageBand. I have music on dropbox but not iTunes and the music library on the iPad. Is there a way to upload music from dropbox directly to GarageBand? Thanks!

    Why is nobody responding?!?

  • Importing Songs from CD

I am having trouble importing songs from my cd (as title suggests) only 789:57:13 Seconds (which is basically 7 seconds) is importing from each song on all my cds, when songs are generally 3 to 4 mins long... anyone know how to help? I have tried looking everywhere, but nobody seems to have the same problem. Though this is probably just a setting I ned to change or something? It occured after downloading the new version of itunes onto my computer

I don't know if this will help but try the same procedure in the Windows media player (if that's what you have, I missed your information) or use another program like Record Now which comes with a lot of computers. I was getting pieces of songs from perfectly new CD's and I wasn't able to get a clean copy until I went through Record Now copying the songs to a "my music" directory, then to I-Tunes seemed to accept the whole song. Good luck.

  • Importing songs from CDs - not showing up in my Library

I am aving trouble importing songs from CDs.  I completed the process as instructed - using the "import this CD" button (I have done this many times successfully).
The import process ran OK.  When the Import process completed, I looked in my music Library and the songs were not there.
I repeated the process - same result.  Nothing in my music library.
    What should I do?

When I load the CD, iTunes recognizes it and asks me if I want to Import the CD.
When I click on "Import CD", the song titles are retreived and show up.  The iTunes bar at the top of the screen shows "Importing track 1" or "Importing  the song by title".  Each song is imported, and I can see each song being impotrted via the iTunes bar at the top of the screen.  iTunes shows that the CD has been imported, and the system dings when the import is done.
This is exactly the same as every other time I've imported CDs.  The only difference is that the songs do not show up in the library.
    Thanks

  • Trouble Importing

Hey guys, I'm having a trouble importing songs from a CD I bought recently, and I wonder if iTunes or the CD has a problem.
When I play the CD with iTunes, it plays fine, but it skips a few parts of songs when I try to import. Do you have any idea?

If you go into the iTunes preferences, click on the advanced tab and go into the import preferences, there is a check box to turn on error checking when importing CDs. This will slow down the import some, but is supposed to help prevent what you are experiencing.
