Troubles with effects and colors in FCPX 10.1.4

Hi to everybody.
I have a problem with colors using the effects.
Lets look at more less neutral picture (picture no 1)

If you look at the RGB Parade you see the down part of the RGB distribution is ok.
But if I start to use any effects the Parade changes in this way:

You see, that the down part of the color distribution (for all 3: red. green and blue) is cut-off, even when I use the effects which shouldn't influence on the color.
I spent some hours to find any logic, and I discovered following regularity:
1. The source movie I imported came from Nikon D7100 (.mov), 1920/1080i
2. The behavior of FCPX during the playback of those clips is crazy and ustable (few seconds like in pict.1 few second like in pic. 2).
3. I have instaled the newest versions of Nikon D7100 firmware and of course FCPX 10.1.4. I think (not 100% sure) the trouble with FCPX appeared after 10.1.4 update.
4. I don't have any troubles with other camcorder (Canon XF 100)
Did somebody have simillar effects / troubles with FCPX? Any solutions? I have a job to do, and this situation completly devastating my deadlines.

You would probably find more direct help by talking to other Nikon shooters who use FCPX. M
I don't know anything about the Nikon codec or why it might be giving you trouble while others do not but have you tried simply transcoding the footage to ProRes422? Your files will expand by a factor or three or four but you will not have these difficulties.

I would imagine it's the MyWay Searchbar which is classified by most anti-malware scanners as adware, or even worse as spyware. I say that because I see "SmileyCentral" in your list of plugins and that's an add-on for that particular toolbar. You can disable that via Tools | Add-ons | Plugins.
There are a number of toolbars which won't work with Firefox 4 anymore due to the enhanced protection mechanisms in the browser.
Mozilla recommends that you only install add-ons from its own security site @ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/?browse=featured Generally speaking, those have all been tested and approved. The exceptions are those currently under review which are marked with a yellow banner to warn users that they haven't passed Mozilla's labs yet.

Did you look up the command line syntax and control options for imp?
You should make it a habit that whenever anyone - especially a stranger on the web - gives you a bit of code or references a command or init parm or any some such, the VERY FIRST thin you should ALWAYS do is look it up for yourself and see exactly where and how it is used and what it means. That is how you grow beyond having to be spoon fed every little thing and become more self-sufficient.
If you had, you would have seen that there is no TABLE_EXISTS_ACTION option for imp and seen that it is an option for impdp. And realized that exp and imp are NOT the same thing as expdp and impdp.

Go to tahiti.oracle.com.
Drill down to your product and version.
BOOKMARK THAT LOCATION
Spend a few minutes just getting familiar with what is available here. Take special note of the "books" and "search" tabs. Under the "books" tab you will find the complete documentation library.
Spend a few minutes just getting familiar with what kind of documentation is available there by simply browsing the titles under the "Books" tab.
Open the Reference Manual and spend a few minutes looking through the table of contents to get familiar with what kind of information is available there.
Do the same with the SQL Reference Manual.
Do the same with the Utilities manual.
You don't have to read the above in depth. They are reference manuals. Just get familiar with what is there to be referenced. Ninety percent of the questions asked on this forum can be answered in less than 5 minutes by simply searching one of the above manuals.
Then set yourself a plan to dig deeper.
- Read a chapter a day from the Concepts Manual.
- Take a look in your alert log. One of the first things listed at startup is the initialization parms with non-default values. Read up on each one of them (listed in your alert log) in the Reference Manual.
- Take a look at your listener.ora, tnsnames.ora, and sqlnet.ora files. Go to the Network Administrators manual and read up on everything you see in those files.
- When you have finished reading the Concepts Manual, do it again.

TO ALL THOSE HAVING TROUBLE WITH ICHAT AND AIM ON MACBOOKS

I've had a lot of trouble with AIM and iChat on my new Macbook, but I believe I've figured out the answers to all the problems I and others have encountered.
Firstly, for those who's AIM continually crashes and displays the message "The application AIM unexpectedly shut down," my answer to your problem is too many sent messages. Watch the bar in the bottom left of your chat window, when it reaches red, your application will probably shut down.
Secondly, for those experiencing difficulties with iChat, it's most likely a problem with communitcation between your wireless router and your computer. Try these steps:
1. From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
2. From the View, choose Sharing.
3. Click the Firewall tab.
4. Click New.
5. From the Port Name pop-up menu, choose Other.
If you have a Macbook, you'll probably have a TCP Port Number Bar and a UDP Port Number Bar. Try these steps:
1. In the TCP Port Number(s) Bar, type: 5190, 5298
2. In the UDP Port Number(s) Bar, type: 1024-5219, 5221, 5223-65535
3. In the Description Bar, type: iChat AV
4. Click OK
5. Click Start above the window with your firewall settings, and make sure the box next to iChat AV is checked
6. Relaunch iChat

My Linksys is the WAG54G, which might be different from your WRT54G. Currently, UPnP is disabled and the Router ports are a bit of a mystery, because they're forwarded to an IP address that's outside of the current DHCP Address Range! Once I got it working, I was reluctant to change it even though it looked anomalous.
The Firewall is on, with the iChat ports open that I listed in the previous post.
My two regular buddies are my sons, who both use Trillian Pro on a Windows machine. Works pretty well despite occasional freezes or garbled sound.

Make sure you have enough free space on your iPad. With iOS 7 it is recommended that you have 15-20% of the storage space on the device free. For a 16 GB device that is 2.4-3.2 GB free. For a 32 GB device that is 4.8-6.4 GB free. For a 64 GB device that is 9.6-12.8 GB free.
Also try a reset. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Hi Fabian,
Is there any error code when user access their mailbox on OWA. Please confirm if there is no results returned in EMS when you run Get-OWAVirtualDirectory cmdlet. Also check whether there is any Event Logs related to OWA in Exchange.
In IIS manager, make sure the OWA virtual directory is listed in the Default Web Site. In EMC, we can navigate to Server Configuration > Client Access, select server and turn to Outlook Web App tab. Then we can click Reset Virtual Directory in the right
Actions pane to reset OWA virtual directory.
Additionally, please restart IIS service by running iisreset /noforce from a Command Prompt window.

The language has also changed from Swedish to English in the modules.

You first have to subscribe to iTunes Match through iTunes on your computer and have your music library in iTunes uploaded/matched before you can enable it on your iOS devices (see http://www.apple.com/itunes/itunes-match/). Without a computer you won't be able to use iTunes Match.

Particle Playground: trouble with wall and particle image

Hello Friends,
I'm fairly new to all of the fancy stuff in After Effects, particularly particles, but I've had a lot of success so far, and just one problem that I can't seem to figure out. Perhaps someone here can help me.
I'm trying to create a clip of a cartoon bride and groom being pelted by rice. I've got the image of the cartoon bride and groom, and it looks great. I then created a new solid layer and applied the Particle Playground effect, and positioned the cannon so the particles come in from offscreen (around the 10 o'clock position). I tried creating masks on the side of the bride and groom's heads (drawn with the pen tool) for the rice to bounce off of, and that part seemed to work, too. At this point, I have the default red squares as particles, and they're bouncing off of the masks just like I want them to, but they don't look anything like rice. I change the color to white, and it looks a lot better, but still not as much like rice as I'd like.
Now, I figure out how to use a layer map to create particles from an image. I use a new shape layer and use the shape tools to create a single grain of rice (a white elongated ellipse with a black stroke). I then set the layer map controls to my rice grain layer, and adjust the scale properties of the rice grain until I have particles that look perfect. Hundreds of grains of rice, all the right size and shape, and they all look great but they're all oriented in the same direction, so I've got to make them move in a more random way. My next step is to animate the rice grain layer to rotate three times in one direction, then back three rotations over the course of three seconds. I then set the parameters to create the particles from a random starting point in the three-second layer. Success! The rice looks like rice! It's the right size, shape, and rotates with the right degree of randomness!
But the boundary mask isn't working anymore. The cannon is shooting the rice particles everywhere but where the mask is, so I get none of the desired bounce and interaction. There's an empty swath where no particles are being generated, so there are particles above and below the wall mask, but none moving directly toward it as I want. It's as if the mask is keeping the cannon from creating particles.
I tried moving the mask away from it's original position, and it affects the creation of the particles, but not in a way that makes sense to me. I tried decreasing the diameter of the cannon, and it behaves almost as if the mask is right next to the cannon, not where it appears in the comp.
Does anyone have any ideas about this? It seems like I'm really close...

Technically, in a proper Image Sequence, all images are the same size/aspect ratio.
What you'll need to do is make on set (vertical or horizontal) a new size, to fit inside the other. The Particle Emitter will matte it's images to one or the other, which ever comes first.

I'm having a bit of trouble using entity beans and CMP, I'm probably doing some thing wrong. The main problem I am having is with a many to many relationship. Let's say I have the following code:

In the 'other variables' each table has a @Id field and setters and getters for the Id.
This code half works. If I set the collection in ClassA with a Collection of Class1 objects this is populated in to the database and the getClass1Collection method for this also works. If I then try to use the getClassACollection method from a Class1 object the entity manager throws a relationship not complete exception (or some thing to that effect). it is also the case that if I create a list of ClassA objects and place it in to the Class1 objects variable, this does not populate in to the database.
Some thing similar also happens with OneToMany and ManyToOne relationship (only one side of the relationship seems to be part of the relationship)
What am I doing wrong?

Yes, that's as it should be, but I think the problem is the default for adding the auto page numbers. The default on the top of the dialog box that appears when you choose Auto Page Numbers from the menu says:
Show in Document.
That seems to be the default. Page numbers in sections won't work with that default. To get it to work, you have to select:
Show in Current Section.
I think I'm right on this, but I'm not sure. I'll have to practice some more. Perhaps this is a default that should be changed in the next version, but I don't know.

Trouble with Theme and cropping, then PhotoPresenter

I posted a question here a month ago stating that I was having trouble with my photos being cut off when using a certain theme in iDVD. Eventually it was evident that in order to get the edgy theme I wanted without cropping I needed to use a different program. PhotoPresenter was suggested and I purchased it. Today I finally created a slideshow in this program, sent it to iDVD, and burned it. Upon viewing on the television all the pictures are very blurry/pixilated. It's not just a little....even a novice would notice. Is there something I can do to get a better quality slideshow?

Last night I made a PhotoPresenter slideshow using the Color Planes theme. I have a series of a test image that go from .307 megapixels (640x480) to 19.66 megapixels (5120x3840). The PhotoPresenter produced slideshow looked as good as could be expected on a DVD and on my computer screen (actual size) I couldn't see any difference between the images.
Yes, there is pixelation during the transitions, but that is part of the transition design.
The test images are sharp and well exposed. You may be able to improve the image quality of your slideshow by doing some additional sharpening on your images before using them in PhotoPresenter.
In addition, I followed the instructions in PhotoPresenter and opened iDVD before I sent the slideshow directly to iDVD. I did NOT create a movie file that I used in iDVD. Did you also go directly to iDVD?
Later today I'll burn the disk image I made to a DVD-RW disc so I can play it on my 26" Sony Bravia HD TV set; I don't expect that to change my observations.
