Troubles with messengers and the battery
hi! i'm from russia. have been using the new ipad for 2months or so. could anyone recommend a good messenger with a working mail.ru agent account? the mail.ru agent itself doesn'work well - it always goes offline! (though it's from appstore!!!) im+ doesn't meet my demands eihter... i'd appreciate it if anyone could help... at least i hope they read these trouble reviews in apple and will do sth!!! it's become almost impossible to communicate by changing messages online! and the other question - after upgrading to ios6 the battery doesn't live for long... what should i do with that??? thanx in advance, maria
Apple are working on it, many people have been having this probleme mainly on 4 an 4s. All you can do is wait for an upgrade, check this link for better battery lifehttp://www.apple.com/batteries/iphone.html or pick up a mophie juice pack.

Troubles with LabVIEW and the SR830 Lock-in Amp.
i'm quite new to LabVIEW and am trying to use the sr830 instrument drivers
to control the Lock-in from a computer, but the instrument drivers don't
seem to want to send or recieve any data. if anyone who is more proficient
in VI programming couild help me out with this, i would greatly appreciate

Are you using the instrument driver downloaded from Nat Inst ??
If you are this thing looks terrible, but should work.
You could try building a simple VI to see if all the communication is working
properly.
Check to make sure you have the correct GPIB address and that all the cables
cards etc are properly connected and working.

I recieved my iPhone 5 3 weeks ago and the battery life completely *****! After doing a few things and maybe using it for about 30 minutes the phone start overheating like crazy then the battery starts dropping very fast. Does anyone know if it's a problem with the iOS or with my phone? And is anyone else expierenceing these problems?
It sounds like you have an app that is incorrectly continuously using data and power... from normal use the phone should NOT be getting that warm... only constant video playing via data like Netflix for example would result in that...
I'd say that you should remove all apps in the recent app tray... tunr phone off... then once you power back on...
Hold BOTH home and sleep wake buttons together until you see a white apple symbol... then release both buttons...
This will ensure you have no apps running...
I've experienced a hang up with mail while out and about that has resulted in this on my iPhone as well... Once I performed these steps it was fixed... it seemed like it got stuck and that's what caused the warm phone and battery drain...
I notived that when it gets stuck (mail app that is) I will see the text connecting at the bottom and it never changes to "updated" like it should... this is my trigger that it's gotten stuck.
Have not really figured out what causes mail app to get stuck yet... -
I downloaded Firefox 4.0 and it says to re-install the toolbar but I have not been successful in doing so. I went to the forums and tried all the suggested fixes but none worked. Can I go back to the older version? I had no trouble with that and I do not like this new version at all. I tried a system restore twice and it did not fix the problem.
I would imagine it's the MyWay Searchbar which is classified by most anti-malware scanners as adware, or even worse as spyware. I say that because I see "SmileyCentral" in your list of plugins and that's an add-on for that particular toolbar. You can disable that via Tools | Add-ons | Plugins.
There are a number of toolbars which won't work with Firefox 4 anymore due to the enhanced protection mechanisms in the browser.
Mozilla recommends that you only install add-ons from its own security site @ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/?browse=featured Generally speaking, those have all been tested and approved. The exceptions are those currently under review which are marked with a yellow banner to warn users that they haven't passed Mozilla's labs yet. -
Several of us have a iPhone 6plus and are having trouble with hearing and speaking at the same time when using the phone. ? The speakers seem to be too far apart? Are others having this issue? Solutions?

I'm in trouble, my iPod Touch is giving 4th shock when recharge and the battery does not last any more. who knows or has a similar problem, please help me. Note: all this after I downloaded the new version OS5.
I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store because of the shock issue. I doubt it was caused by the update.

Make sure you have enough free space on your iPad. With iOS 7 it is recommended that you have 15-20% of the storage space on the device free. For a 16 GB device that is 2.4-3.2 GB free. For a 32 GB device that is 4.8-6.4 GB free. For a 64 GB device that is 9.6-12.8 GB free.
Also try a reset. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -

Is there any error code when user access their mailbox on OWA. Please confirm if there is no results returned in EMS when you run Get-OWAVirtualDirectory cmdlet. Also check whether there is any Event Logs related to OWA in Exchange.
In IIS manager, make sure the OWA virtual directory is listed in the Default Web Site. In EMC, we can navigate to Server Configuration > Client Access, select server and turn to Outlook Web App tab. Then we can click Reset Virtual Directory in the right
Actions pane to reset OWA virtual directory.
Additionally, please restart IIS service by running iisreset /noforce from a Command Prompt window.

First, make sure that all your devices are using the same Apple ID in iMessages including your Mac. Second, your messages that you've already started on your devices will not show up on your Mac - only ones that you start from now on will show up. Third, if you're still not syncing accross all devices, make sure you read the directions on the first page of this thread. It should work after performing those steps. Good luck!

If you have Mac OS X 10.8.4 Mountain Lion installed then I would recommend using Wireless Diagnostics tool which is on your computer already.

Ive had my 13 inch macbook pro for less than 30 days and the battery health has gone down to 92% and the computer itself is so slow...i paid $50.00 for an OLD windows computer with 512 mb of ram and it is much faster..is this normal for mac?? Also, apple says there is nothing they can/wil do even though i got the apple care....i mean really? $50.00 for 2002 computer with windows XP and 512mb of ram and a single core processor......faster and more usable than $1400.00 computer with 4gb of ram and dual core processor.....***???

I upgraded my 3rd gen iTouch to iOS 5.1.1 and now its speed to repond is slower and the battery goes flat quicker than before the upgrade. Skype, Sky iCloud and other apps are turned off (I think). Has anybody else suffered with this? Any ideas?

In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever.
