Troubles with newest software :( 5800

hello
I have now XM5800 for two years, and kind of i understand the thing, i like the phone alot, especialy because it have stick to operate with, i rly don't like to touch it with my fingers alot with typing..
Ofcourse i check here and there if there is any software upgrade, and usual i install it, as i bellieve guys are trying to make it better even if it's old
My battery usualy hold for three days, if i didn't use it alot hade it also fourth day alive.
But the problem is, when i installed newest software, the battery holds 2 days and can't do thing to have it more
The problem is, that it find wireless network even if i set searching off. I never liked for phone to loose extry energy for time when i don't have intention to browse internet.
I have all off, and i still hear sound from phone when i enter some wireless areas, and when i go out of area.
Is there any option to get previous software back on?
Also how u changed internet explorer i don't like, before was on whole screen, now we got black lines on top and bottom, to have even smaller screen like i go to bookmarks every second while i wanna read page. rly in need of installing opera.

i think it's problem in new internet browser, that don't end connection, i just saw now with opera or other software that requires connection, it closes wireles connection when i exit it.

Trouble with Nokia Software updater software

I have trouble with my Nokia software updater.
It "freezes" in detecting your phone picture.
Everytime there is a new version of NSU and first time I run it after installing/upgrading it works fine. But when I run it one more time it freezes.

HT1923 Trouble with newest version of iTunes not updating properly

I tried updating to the newest version of iTunes because I received the Apple Software Update for it. It wouldn't install properly, so I manually installed the newest version. When I tried to open iTunes I received an error message: "APSDaemon.exe - System Error; MSVCR80.dll not found, try reinstalling the software". So I clicked okay and received an error message the iTunes was not installed properly, try reinstalling. Then I uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it, but received the same error messages about 2/3 of the way through reinstalling. Now iTunes won't install at all. I went to the support page and got the instructions for removing and reinstalling iTunes on Windows 7, but I can't finish the removing steps because Apple Mobile Device Support will not uninstall at all. My husband is having the same issue on his computer. Is this a known issue with the new version of iTunes for windows? How do we fix it now? We really need iTunes on the computers to sync with our phones, iPod, and iPad. Any help would be appreciated...should I contact apple support directly?

Update - I was able to finally uninstall the Apple Mobile Device Support component and the rest of the components. I was not able to delete the common files/Apple folder when checking to make sure all the components were removed; however, I think that is because I have an Apple AirPort WiFi Device. Anyway, the newest version of iTunes did install on my computer after following these instructions. So I believe my issue is resolved. We will see...

E71 e-mail trouble with latest software

Hi everybody
hopefully someone will be able to help me out here.I used to run a version 3 software on my E71 and that enabled me to use the phone's own e-mail client to connect to hotmail. Now i cannot connect to hotmail (live.nl in this case) using the phone's own application, and i understand that the nokia mailclient supports hotmail without having to enter server settings. Now i have started the mail installation wizzard and the nokia software installs itself, but then it get's to test the server connection and doens't stop doing that. I'v tried again and again, several days in a row, and it just doens't stop, even blanks y screen occasionaly.
Please help me out here...... i just want my hotmail on my phone. Thanks !!

Trouble with Desktop Software 7.0

I recently upgraded my Desktop Software to 7.0, and when I connected by Tour to sync it has been at the "Preparing sync preview" screen for about 40 minutes with the bar completely green. Is this a glitch with the new 7.0 software?

Audigy 2 Value - Trouble with Newest Drivers and Equali

Just got my Audigy 2 Value yesterday. I know its an old model, but I found a new one for a bargain price. Anyway, I initially installed everything from the CD. The driver installed along with the mixer, equalizer, Creative console, etc... When I realized how old the driver was on the CD (2004) I uninstall it, wiped everything clean with DriverCleaner and installed the newest drivers for Audigy (July 08). I discovered the ones on the website don't include all the various applications such as the mixer and equalizer. Just an basic version of the creative console.
I browsed the CD and installed just the apps I wanted -Mixer, Equalizer,Speaker Settings and Calibrator and Diagnostics. They all work fine save for the Equalizer. It just closes with an error message. Its not the most critical piece - the mixer is where I can at least adjust the bass and treble - but I would like to have it if possible.
Any ideas on getting the Equalizer to run with Windows XP and the newest Audigy drivers Are there any up-to-date downloads available on the Creative website with all the CD applications? The fact they are four years old vs. a new driver is most likely the problem. I did not install any of the Creative MediaSource applications. Just wanted the driver only. Would the lastest downloads for them possible have all those apps in current form (or are the install CD ones all I can get)? Thanks for you help!

Having trouble with newest Garageband, jpegs, and file icons

I've been part of a podcast for years and we've always used GB. We recently got a new laptop (that came with a newer version of GB) for the show. Now, for some reason, the jpeg we've been using as our file icon doesn't work anymore. I've tried opening the jpeg in 'preview' and copying it, then pasting it in 'Get info" of the actual mp4 (highlight the icon in top left corner, etc) but it doesn't really work. It changes the way the file is displayed in 'finder' but not in Itunes or when anyone downloads it from our website. Any thoughts or ideas?

The new GarageBand 10 does no longer support podcasts. If you still have the GarageBand '11 installer from your previous Mac, install Garageband '11, version 6.0.5 and use that to share your podcast to iTunes.

trying to download ios5 software in itunes for my ipad and iphone. download incomplete keep getting a network connection timed out error message, but wireless connection is fine. any ideas would be appreciated?

Disable or turn off your firewall and anti-virus software and try the download again.

I'm unable to view a graph on an SPSS program. It says "could not start java virtual machine. Chart will not be drawn." In another window it states "consider changing LOCALE or setting UNICODE on. Any thoughts to help this along

We did also tests with a WGB with VLANs connected to a switchport in trunking mode, but this didn't work either. It seems that an infrastructure SSID can only be configured on a native VLAN, and in our case we want to assiociate to a VLAN20. Moreover, if this VLAN/trunk construction should work, we would also have a problem with the management address of the WGB because this must be in the native VLAN1 (int bvi1), which can't be accessed through VLAN20 (on the remote side the WGB can't route between VLAN 1 and 20)...

Real Problems with newest software updates

I am hoping that someone can help me. I updated my software Jan 22 (includes 10.4.11, iDVD update, Quicktime compatibility, Quicktime, Java Release 6, iTunes, etc.) and now many apps won't open and I cannot mount any disk-images when I try to install new apps.
Apps that won't open: Safari, iTunes (bummer), and can no longer upload photos to facebook.
Anybody else had these issues? Does anyone know what I can do?
Any help would be much obliged.

Use Disk Utility to Repair Permissions then reboot, if the problems persist try reinstalling the big Combo update...

The Dragon software seems to be a game emulator software. So there is a big chance that you have an add-in of Dragon software related issue.
You may also need to check whether you already turned off the application in Sound Mixer.

Trouble with migration software

after downloading the windows migration software, i get this message

what am I missing?

Serious troubles with my WRT110 router

Hello! This problem all started when I upgraded the machine I'm typing this on to Windows 7 Ultimate. No matter what I did, it would not connect to the existing network. I finally found a way to get it to connect by entering the router's PIN number, but it effectively created an entirely new network. My problem lies here. I can create new open networks just fine, but if I try to create an encrypted network it will not work -- the computer won't even detect the router. I need an encrypted network because I'm required by law to have one in my line of work, and I have no idea how to set it up. The network is comprised of this machine I'm using, a Macbook, and a TiVo DVR, as well as my laptop which is in for repairs. I might also add that I'm having trouble with the software that came with the router. Ideally, I'd have a secure network with an easily memorable password so other machines can join. I have spent many hours on this and I'm truly at a loss, and some step by step instructions would be tremendously appreciated. Thanks in advance,

1. You should always access the web interface through a wired connection. Through a wireless link you may accidentally configure the router of your neighbor. And of course you should also never make changes on the wireless settings through a wireless link. Thus, always use a wired connection only for this purpose.
2. It does not affect your network as it is. It only changes the router configuration. If you change the wireless configuration of the router it will, of course, affect all existing wireless links to the router (if any).
3. You should not choose a "easily memorable password". That's always a bad idea. The wireless passphrase is usually only entered once on each wireless device to establish the connection to the router. The wireless device usually remembers the passphrase. Thus it is better to choose a very strong passphrase, e.g. a random generated longer passphrase. That is much more secure.
