Troubleshooting "AnalysisEngine is currently busy"

Greetings all. I have a 4215 appliance running 5.0(5)S203.0. I'm attempting to apply IPS-K9-min-5.1-1a.pkg via the 'upgrade' CLI command but keep receiving the "AnalysisEngine is currently busy and unable to process this update. Please wait several minutes before attempting update again." message. I've tried this several times over two days.
The 4215 is running in traditional IDS mode and it's monitoring interface is seeing very little tcp/udp traffic.
- A 'show events alert' shows no events
- A 'top' from the OS level shows the mainApp process using almost no CPU or memory
Anyone have ideas on the best way to troubleshoot this?

Just a quick update for folks...
I stopped and restarted all processes via /etc/init.d/cids stop|start and the update took.
Still curious why Analysis Engine was busy for 2+ days..

Here's how to get around that conundrum. Put them in an album and export from the album using the File->Export->File Export menu route and select the "Use album name" option. This will produce files with filenames as follows: Albumname-01.jpg, Albumname-02.jpg, etc. This will let you put them all in the same folder.
Does your camera have the option to not start renaming back at 1 at each new use? If so then you can get around this issue in the future. Or, upload to a folder on the desktop using Image Capture and then run R-Name on the folder to sequentially batch rename them to something other than the camera's designation.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.

Now, my Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise server are running in the domain. It have problem about some one in my team have remote my server with the user administrator while I'm remote it now. It make my session loss. I tried to remote it again but I found
the message at the log on screen about "The task you are trying to do can't be completed because Remote Desktop Services is currently busy. Please try again in a few minutes. Other users should still be able to log on."
Now, nobody can't remote with administrator user into this server. I have check the application log. I found the error message like this.

In addition, I can log on this server with other user but I can't log off by it's showing the message "please wait for the system Event Notification service". Normally, the problem can solve by reboot the server. But how can be solve this problem

The cause of unable to remote back to the server seems to be services hung, please try to reset session as the article below guides to see if it works:

Possible bug in Oracle SQL Developer Version 3.2.20.09 Build MAIN-09.87 - Connection is currently busy. Try Again? Abort...

Hi,
Every single time I try and browse data in one of my tables, I get the annoying "Connection is currently busy. Try Again?" pop-up alert message with "Try Again" and "Abort" options.
This is very annoying and I dont know how to stop it happening.
Is this a bug or can someone suggest a setting I can try to get around it?

I don't know if it's worthwhile raising issues with v3 as the developers are now working on v4. You can download an Early Adopter version available on OTN I think.
If you're new to SQL Developer, it's worth knowing that a single click on an item in the navigator tends to do what you would expect a double-click to do. I think a double click can cause the same action to be started twice.

FIELD-SYMBOLS: <fs_wa> TYPE table .
UNASSIGN <fs_wa>.
ASSIGN ('(program name)mem_but000 ') TO <fs_wa> .
program name is the name of the program where this internal table mem_but000 is having data..
U will get all the entries of the internal table in field symbol..
decalre internal table like mem_but000 and assign the filed symbol data into internal table .
IF sy-subrc EQ 0.(sy-subrc check for the assign statement)
t_mem_but000 = <fs_wa>.

Establishing current business process baseline in Solution Manager

Hello Guru,
We had implemented ECC 5.0 a year ago.
We had used business blueprint SOLAR01, SOLAR02, to document some of the business processes. We found ourself currently have an incompleted business process blueprint.
We want to use Solution Manager to manage the ECC 6.0 upgrade, how do we establish the current business process baseline?
Is there a tool that will browse through ECC 5.0, and create business process map of what the current business processes that have been implemented, and the configuration objects that have been customized?

Hi Anny,
I am afraid there isn't a tool that can help retrospectively build SOLAR01 or SOLAR02 related structure and contents.
The only three possible areas for exploration I can suggest for you to investigate further, are:
(1) Use of Reverse Business Engineer (RBE)
(2) Use of SAP TAO to at least build Testing scope retrospectively
(3) Seek any views from IDS-Scheer on whether they have any plug ins for ARIS that can do a retrospective process mapping

Me too (on OSX 10.5.7)
SQLDeveloper was working okay with different connections (except for the inability to cancel any active query!).
Started using DBVisualizer for a while but came back to SQLDeveloper after realising that I couldn't ask for an execution plan. Perhaps my SQL Developer has been affected by the installation of another program's drivers?
Unfortunately, now, SQLDeveloper gives me the "Connection currently busy" error, and when check the connection Properties and ask it to Test the connection, it says
'Failure - Test failed io exception: Invalid connection string format, a valid format is "host:port:sid'
Upgrading to the latest release (1.5.5.59.69) made no difference.
Same for all my Oracle connections in SQL Developer, but the same settings still work if I launch DBVisualizer instead (NB I'm not running them concurrently).
Is it possible that SQL Developer is picking up an incompatible JDBC jar somewhere on my system - where can I see which driver SQL Developer has chosen to use?
Despite setting the preferences to log to file, no such file is being created, and the only diagnostic info I can provide is the STDERR output that occurs when I finally quit SQL Developer:

"add_drv/rem_drv currently busy; try later"

I am writing a device driver for PCI card on intel /x86 p/f Solaris 8.
I have succefully written some portion of the driver & is able to read from
the device register.Now i had to initialize the DMA in BUS master mode residing on
my device.For that i had called the following routines in attach(9E) entry
point.
     1)ddi_dma_alloc_handle();
     2)di_dma_mem_alloc();
     3)di_dma_addr_bind_handle();
     I succefully complied the code.
MY PROBLEM IS:-
     1) when i attach my device driver to the system using add_drv -i command ,
the system get hanged & reboots after sometime.While at booting it shows that the system hanged because of ddi_dma_alloc_handle() function.The system never boots up while the PCI device is plugged to the system.Now i remove the PCI device from the system & the system boots up perfectly.NOW I TRY TO REMOVE THE DRIVER FOR THAT PCI DEVICE:-
using "rem_drv" command BUT SYSTEM SHOWS FOLLOWING MESSAGE:-
          "add_drv/rem_drv currently busy; try later"
          How to overcome this problem??????if anyone can help??i will be grateful to him.
2)With what value the ddi_dma_attr(9s) structure will be initialized for PCI bus device.

Deception by distraction. And yes deception by inaccuracy are all part of our experience at times. We never see confused and frustrated customers in the ads, nor will we. Becoming cynical is our normal reaction, but it does not fix anything. ALL major corporations engage in deception, because it works ! It works often enough to make money. Once we understand why they do it, we can move on to accomplish the goals we have for our own bottom line and to serve our interests. Let's learn from (education) and properly respond to (advocacy,activism) these problems in meaningful ways that combine expression and action.

Hi, Thanks for contacting me. I'll tell you right now that if it wasn't for my daughter, I would drop verizon today and not look back. Their free phones that I tried out but did not like and sent back have cost me 65.00 a piece so far. Their customer service was terrible and I am basically done with them. I will keep them so that my daughter can enjoy her phone for now but given the opportunity I will drop them. and once this is over I will never get anything from verizon again and I will never sign up for another contract thru any carrier. Hi, am asked to do a Current Business Baseline (RD020) for Cash Management. Am quite 'at a loss' as to the contents of my report. Aside from the Bank Reconciliation and Forecasting processes, are there any processes that I can or should include?

Extending HANA Live Views
But these urls describe the way to extend/enhance 'view like' views i think.
How 'function module' views should be extended is something i have not seen/read before.
If the functionmodules point to HANA Calculation VIews maybe ..?

Duplicate check: access ID of current business partner

Hello,
we're using BADI ADDRESS_SEARCH to perform duplicate check of business partners in CRM 7.0.
Some relevant address fields are passed to method ADDRESS_SEARCH (e.g. city, country, ...), however, not the partner ID or the GUID of the business partner.
Is there any chance to access the currently processed business partner from inside the BADI method? The former (CRM 4.0, 5.0) BDT function modules "BUPMEMORY" don't work any more.
The thing is that we need to control the duplicate check based on several BP attributes like grouping, BP role, and so on.
Kindly consider that we're not in the IC (interaction center) but in the CRM web client (role SALESPRO)

Hi,
One way is to enhance the custom controller of the BP_HEAD component, add a new attribute e.g., BP No or GUID and set its value on submitorenter event or save event and inside the BADI retrieve the custom controller reference to fetch the BP No or GUID.

How to create new or check current business event in Oracle INV/PO?

How can i define/create new business event related to items or suppliers?
I know we need to login to WF admin responsibility. But i just wanted to where we can able to create event from frontend and that too from inventory or purchasing responsibilities.
I have collected five from oracle.apps.inv.item realted to items and four related to suppliers.
Could you please help me in how to create Business events from frontend and that to from oracle inventory.. and even i would like to here some thing on trading partners setups also.

No, in this case, I'm using standard JSP with ADF and struts validator.
If I don't use struts validator and there are errors (such as putting a string into a number which produces a jbo-25009), the list value will be retained.
When using the validator, it appears that it is NOT retained.
I've written some code to attempt to set the list element back, which "looks like" it's working right now.
There's still a problem with the second scenario:
1. user clicks checkbox and hits [submit]
2. get's error - you have to enter 5 address items
3. User wants to backout, so he unchecks the box and resubmits
4. The box redisplays as "checked"
SO, at that point, I thought... can't I use YOUR EXAMPLE on how to handle a checkbox.
I place some code in the reset method of the form to perform this:

(that is, I've detected via the request that this flag is null), so I'm trying to make sure it retains it!
I do that and it runs into a problem during the processUpdateModel aT:
