Troubleshooting latest version

I am still unable to install Flash Player. I have followed and implemented all of the steps for uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version 10.2. etc ... to include the suninacl and the reset. I have also disabled McAfee while doing this, using the uninstall download from Adobe and so on. Does anyone have any other advice? Many thanks.

So I was wondering, do you think I need to replace my cable in order for my PC to recognize my iPod or is it something else?

You did end Firefox and try to restart didn't you?
If you did then I would expect you have a problem with your Firewall, and would have had it before, does not affect IE, it does affect Firefox, I don't know about other browsers. See

Problem with iTunes. I have Windows 8 on a new laptop. Installed latest version of iTunes. Can play music in My Library but when I click on Itunes Store I get the message "iTunes has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Since my computer upgraded to the latest version of Firefox, I can't access or access only partial websites - how do I fix?

My computer did it's normal Window update as well as updated to the latest version of FireFox. Since then I can access minimum parts of normal websites and I cannot use multiple tabs to search different websites. I restored my computer to before the Windows 7 update thinking that was the problem but I still have trouble accessing sites and extreme slowness with FireFox. Any ideas?

These alerts might occur when trying to authorize iTunes or during launch when iTunes checks for authorization information.
Install the latest iTunes from apple.com/itunes/download/
Remove the SC Info folder.
If that does not resolve the issue, see iTunes: "Error 42408" or "Error 42404" after upgrading to iTunes 9.0.3.

I had to uninstall firefox since it was causing so many problems with my computer. I was using the latest version 18. What is the problem?

I have had nothing but problems since I installed the latest version of Firefox version 18. It hangs up my computer no matter what I am doing. Even if I am not using the browser. I uninstalled it three times and the problems just seemed to be getting worse. I finally uninstalled it and did not reinstall it again. I am not going to use it again until the problems are fixed. I also don't know what funmoods is or whatever it is that replaced my google home page. I don't like software deciding what services I should use. I have been a firefox user for over 15 years. I have never had problems like this before. I have switched to Safari. It works without interfering with the other tasks I am doing on my computer. I don't know what version 18 did but the previous version of firefox I was using was perfectly fine. I had no problems whatsoever with it. It appears as if this version was not sufficiently tested. Also my daughter is having the same problems with her computer and they all started with the new version. So it isn't just me. At least give us the option of going back to the previous version and asking us if we want to upgrade when a new one comes out. However, I have never had these problems in the past with any version of firefox I installed. I like the features of firefox but cannot afford to keep rebooting my computer. It seems that firefox gets hung up and then hangs the computer up and I can't do anything else even if I am not using it. It seems to stay on in the background and hang everything up. Please fix this.

It most definitely is the browser that is causing most of the problems. I have used Firefox so long, I can't even remember. Maybe since its beginning. But today is a sad day. I gave up on it. I can't accomplish anything and end up spending hours troubleshooting. I see I am not alone. I am so sick of it "not responding." When I click on link in a website firefox randomly decide to reload the page after it has already loaded it once. It's really irritating. I tried uninstalling firefox and installing the latest version but it still does it. HELP!!!!

Doing that can cause all kinds of problems because not all servers like such changes, so you can try to reset those prefs on the about:config page.

Latest version of firefox program is not compatible with windows 7

After I updated the latest version of mozilla firefox in my laptop which is a windows 7 program,it doesn't work anymore. Every time I open the firefox, the screen goes black and I can't see anything on the screen but black. And when I troubleshoot and fix the problem, it says that "COLOR SCHEMES IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 7". Program compatibility is the 1.5 version or 1.0. How to fix this one? The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT as you start iTunes) then going to Edit > Preferences > Store and turning off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.

Why does my latest version of Firefox under Windows 8.1 always report problems with security certifactes - even on mozilla,com - when my latets version on Ubunt

On my desktop, I have been using Firefox V27 on Ubuntu 12.04 for some time. It uses secure sites - such as https://mozilla.org - and accepts the Security Certificates quite happily, so I am not even aware there is any issue.
My new laptop is Windows 8,1, and I have installed Firefox- the latest version.
Whenever Firefox visits a secure site, it ALWAYS says that there is a problem with the security certificate - even at mozilla.org - and warns me away. I have to complete a security exemption.
Why is this, and how can I fix it?

unfortunately the fiddler2 issuer in certificates might be a sign of unwanted software present on your pc that is intercepting secure network traffic. please go into the system control panel and uninstall programs like BrowserSafeguard, BrowserSafe, SafeGuard or other software that sounds suspicious and didn't get installed by you intentionally.
