Trusted recon Error
Hi Experts,
I run the trusted recon from SAP HRMS and user is successfully reconciled and event is linked in Reconciliation Manager.
Issue is -- In SAP HRMS I updated manager (ie Structural Unit Code) and resent the iDOC for same User. Now event is in Received state , while Appling the Re-applying rule in reconciliation manager OIM throwing the below errors…

Yes, Structural Unit code is mapped Users. Manager and it work fine earlier....only this field making problem.
Actually while i update the SUC and resending iDOC, all pre update entity adapter are triggered and it complete response message able to see in log stack and finally above errors throwing and roll backing the all the transactions.
While checking the user in web console user is not updated with new values.

Service date is a varchar field(VARCHAR 2 BYTE) in our trusted table. Its mapped to service date field in OIM 11g which is of type date.
Please let me know if I need to change the field type in our trusted table.
Note: The same configuration is working fine in OIM 9.x.

Kalpana.Now, i went into IDM schema & altered date fields to VARCHAR2(30 CHAR) for all the date type attributes. Now, when I ran schedule job is worked fine and didnt got any errros. But now the trusted recon is not creating users. I dont know why users are not getting created. Can you please let me know which all things should be checked to make a recon a trusted recon so that it creates users.

Getting Error - Cause: Status of the batch is not 'Completed' in OIM 11g R2 during Trusted Recon
Hi All
I am new to OIM 11g R2. I am trying to create custom connector for trusted recon. The case is to migrate the users from 10g to 11g R2. The recon event is created but it is in Event Recieved status and when I re-evaluate the event, its giving error - Cause: Status of the batch is not 'Completed'.
I saw in some posts to change the recon batch size parameter to 0 and restart the server. I have done that but still I am facing the same issue.
There is no child data in the attribute mapping and user login is set as key.
Any inputs are welcome on how to get rid of this error.

In Web Console Job Scheduler, I had one Recon "LDAP FULL Recon" which has a property
"OIM Employee Type" which was before "Full-TYpe" i changed it to * & it worked.Now I am able to generate events.
It seems like value of Employee Type has an Issue in OID, please correct me ?

The error is "(EMPLOYEE_NUMBER) does not exist in table USR". This field is a default OIM field. If I remove it from the mapping, the recon works OK.
I have the same error if I mapping a UDF field that the label has a white space (eg.: Cost Center).
This happens with other default OIM field:
- Hire Date
- Display Name
Any idea?
Are there any workaround for this?

I found the bug in metalink "Bug 10041190 GTC Recon Failed With new OIM UDF Attribute Map If Attribute Name Has Space"
The workaround is: Don't use UDF's with a space in the attribute name.
This issue is fixed in 11.1.1.3.2

- From the Mapping Action list, select Create Mapping Without Transformation.
- Select Matching Only.
- Click Continue.
Mapping Information page, select Reconciliation
Staging from the Dataset list, select EMPLOYEE_ID (your ID Field) from the Field Name
list, and then click Continue.

AD Trusted Recon not working OOTB
I am using OIM 9.1 on Oracle Application Server 10g, Java 1.4.2 provided by the Oracle Application Server, in a RedHat environment.
I require multiple trusted resources -
1. flat file
2. AD (non-SSL)
My Flat File works fine, I can reconcile users in successfully. I have imported the Trusted Recon XML from AD already, and use the fields auto-generated from AD as my Xellerate User Recon Object mapping for the flat file.
However, when I run the scheduled task, ActiveDirectoryReconTask, it gives me two issues.
1) The scheduled task won't get out of "RUNNING" mode.
2) The scheduled task throws the following NoClassDefFoundError, as shown in the logs:

My questions are:
1. Has anyone run into this issue, or know what the origin of this issue is? It looks like it's not picking up a class file. However, I have the LDAP jar downloaded, provisioning works fine.
3. How can I get my scheduled task to get out of RUNNING mode and actually stop? The "Last Stop Time" doesn't update, and the only time I can re-run the task is by bouncing the server.

sakeThe problem that you are having is because the ldapsdk-4.17.jar is not in your third party directory.
To quote the deployment guide for the connector:
"You can search for and download the ldapsdk-4.17.jar file from the Internet and copy it into the OIM_home/xellerate/ThirdParty directory."
(Not the most clear and straightforward language but at least it is mentioned.)

I thought the 9.0.1.4 version was supposed to have transitioned over to pure JNDI but it seems like the connector stills uses some things in the old lib. Oracle also used to distribute the old Netscape build of this component as a part of the connector but it seems like someone (probably the Oracle lawyers) disliked this practice.

AD 11g Trusted Recon is failing due to invalid Date format for Start Date
We are using OIM 11g with AD 11g connector.

Error is because of invalid date format.
You need to bring data in required format. As I remember you can configured it in one of the AD configuration lookup. -
Active Directory Trusted Recon ends with NullPointerException
Hi,
I have installed OIM 11.1.2.2.0 and AD connector version: ActiveDirectory 11.1.1.6.0. when i run "Active Directory Group Lookup Recon", I can see the groups created in "Lookup.ActiveDirectory.Groups". But when I tried to do "Active Directory User Trusted Recon" OIM given below error. I attached ITResource and Scheduler configurations.

I have already added the field RECON_OBJECTGUID in the RO and mapped it in Process Definition and also created the reconcilliation profile. I don't know why it's looking for RECON_RECON_OBJECTGUID. I tried creating this column too in RO and did all the mapping and after that, its give the same error but column name is now RECON_RECON_RECON_OBJECTGUID.
Any pointers on this issue?

OIM 11 - Trusted Recon creates random number of users in "disabled" state
We are on OIM 11.1.1.5 with LDAP sync enabled to OID 11.
When creating users from trusted recon, we get a random number of users always created as "disabled". The recon event details shows orchestration:*create* and orchastration:*Enabled*. However Enable orchestration events show compensated or failed. And the user gets created in OIM as "disabled".
We have turned on the loggings for Trusted recon. But do not see any error for these specific number of users.
Has anyone seen this kind of behavior?

MBiswalI've seen this before if the user is created with a blank password. Run a select * from usr where usr_login='BARBERDW'; and validate that usr_password is not blank. It should be filled in with an encrypted value. If not, you need to look at your process handlers for setting this value.

Urgent: Please help: Trusted recon - Sun LDAP - timeout
Hi Experts,
I am doing trusted reconciliation with sun ldap using oim 11.1.1.5 bp4.
LDAP system has around 3 lakh users. so i am planned to do trusted recon in 5 or 6 intervals to get around 50K records each time.
i tested for 1000 users - no timeout is happening and all users are created perfectly using trusted recon
when i run for 25K users, i am getting timeout excception below,
1. It is searching and listing the users, (please chck time)

Above parameters are good for more than 25K users?

Alternatively You can rather break your chunks in 20000 records because you are able to fetch 22882 records successfully.... -
EBS Trusted reconciliation error if we keep user email id blank
Hi,
We are executing EBS trusted reconciliation. It works fine and create user in OIM prefectly. But if user's email is blank then in that case its throwing below validation exception. I wanted to ask this is default behaviour of OIM at time of trusted recon? How can we handle this issue with blank email at time of truste reconciliation? One more thing if we create user in OIM manually with blank email id then its not throwing such exception.
Please let me know if you have any idea on this issue.

ThanksCheck for two things:
- Open your resource object, go to reconciliation tabe. Check attribute email. make sure required flag for this attribute is set to false. If its true, set it to false and click on Create reconciliation profile button. And retry your use case.
- Check if you have created any validationevent handler or your OOTB connector might have created it for validation purposes which is looking for some valid value in email. You may need to modify this validation handler.

Few users getting reconciled after running trusted recon
Hi Experts,
i ran a trusted recon for a particular Active Directory search base and it reconciled only 6 out of some 50 odd users. I checked if the remaininig users are already present in OIM, which they are not. I checked all the parameters and they look fine. Please kindly guide me on some pressure points to check for errors.
Thank you for your time.Verify data of your users. Check reconciliation events, if they generated for all users. That would give you some idea. Click on re-evaluate button there to relink that specific user. Also make sure xlReconbatchsize system property is set to 500(by default). Also make sure (if this is cusomt code), bulk execute method of your schedule task is implemented properly.
If nothing is clear, put logs here.

But now I add another custom attribute eg: Attribute 1, I can see the values for this Attribute1=<something> in logs But there is nothing in event mgmt
query on a database client is also running fine. I made the value constant in the query as well, instead of getting from EBS tables
