TRY files in INBOXES\DESPOOLR.BOX\RECEIVE

I sometimes get a lot of TRY files located in the INBOXES\DESPOOLR.BOX\RECEIVE directory which will consume a lot of my diskspace.
Could I delete those files ?
It seems that everything is running normally. All packages are available at the DP..so why are thise files there...
I reviewed the logs but could not find any issue.
Except that my disk get out of spoace :-(

What about despool.log? What about the size of the files? Do they contain anything at all? It's usually not supported to delete stuff from inboxes manually.

When you look at the images in the browser, do you see any arrow icons on your thumbnails? Like these:
When you import your images from a folder on your system drive, you have two ways to import:
Managed: Import and store the images in the library
Or referenced: Leave the images in the folder outside the Aperture library.
This is controlled by the "Store Files" settings in the Import panel:
If you did not set "Store files" to "In the Aperture Library", the originals will stay in the folder outside.
The error message you get, suggests that Aperture assumes the original files are in a folder outside the library.
Select one of your images in the Browser and use the command "File > Show in Finder" - is this command available or dimmed out?

When I try to download something, the download box pops up and it will download, but will not allow me to open the file from the download box

Whether pictures, or executable files, will download into the download box that pops up. When the file is done downloaded, when I attempt to either left click or right click on the file in the download box, it will not allow me to open that file

Do you owe money from these previous purchases? If so, you will not be able to download anything further from the iTunes Store until you provide a payment method, either a credit card or a prepaid iTunes card, to clear that balance.

Despooler.Box Receive Folder Filling Up Space

I have one primary site and 5 secondary sites and with a few of the secondary sites we store all the files on the D:\ drive and the drive is filling up quickly then releasing space again. I've done a tree size and it seems to be the Despooler.Box\Receive

I see .tmp file that is increasing in the folder and can I delete the .try files?
Any fix for that?

There is no fix as that folder is used for packages that you deploy to that server.

Open and read from text file into a text box for Windows Store

I wish to open and read from a text file into a text box in C# for the Windows Store using VS Express 2012 for Windows 8.
Can anyone point me to sample code and tutorials specifically for Windows Store using C#.
Is it possible to add a Text file in Windows Store. This option only seems to be available in Visual C#.

Please let me know what exactly are you trying to do using Adobe online service.
You might try accessing the same service for some other PDFs and check.
Have you signed up correctly at "https://cloud.acrobat.com/" using your Adobe ID credentials.
If the same message pops up, then please visit Contact Customer Care as they could let you know if there is any problem with your account.

Can't copy files to network drop box

I'm running an Ubuntu server with netatalk (afp server) running and serving a couple afp shares. In one of the shares, I have a drop box directory that is owned by user "foo" and has group "bar". My Mac system username is "dude" and I also have a user named "dude" on the server. On the server, "dude" is a member of group "bar". The drop fox directory has permissions drwx-w----. The goal is to have a drop box that only "foo" on the server can read, but "dude" and other users in group "bar" can write to. I have other directories on the share with permissions drwxr-x--- foo:bar that "dude" and other users can read but not write to. In Mac OS X when I connect to the server as "dude" and try to copy a file to the drop box, I'm notified that I won't be able to see the copied file and then the copy fails with "The operation can't be completed because you don't have permission to access some of the items." The files I am trying to copy are owned by my user and I tried changing their permissions to rw-rw-rw but no luck. I also tried adding +x for the group on the dropbox. I checked the netatalk configuration and there's no permission mask being applied to the share.

I had the same problem, but I managed to fix it.
In WGM check that the sharepoint of your users Home Folder is set to owner root with Read and Write permissions.
I also created an ard_admin group in WGM and enabled open directory management on the client Macs. (Page 62 of the ARD admin Guide.)

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

Empty files are getting created at receiver FTP server

Hi Experts,
I have an Idoc to File scenario where I am sending an XML file to receiver FTP server.
Scenario is working fine but sometimes an empty file is getting generated at receiver FTP server.
I have already selected ignore empty file at receiver channel so issue is not within PI system configuration.
When I checked the message log I can see that almost all the files are getting created successfully without any issues, but
for some files/messages I can see that there are below error logs.
"Transmitting the message to endpoint <local> using connection IDoc_AAE_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Could not get FTP connection from connection pool (1 connections) within 5,000 milliseconds; increase the number of available connections"
"Exception caught by adapter framework: Could not get FTP connection from connection pool (1 connections) within 5,000 milliseconds; increase the number of available connections."
And after there is again success message log in the same message and it creating a file successfully during that time stamp.
but the third party is sometime receiving empty file which I am not able to find in any trace or log (my file name is SD_timestamp.xml).
Can you please let me know what is the solution and what adjustments FTP server need to do in order to resolve this issue.

The error you are getting that says "Could not get FTP connection from connection pool (1 connections) within 5,000 milliseconds; increase the number of available connections" has probably nothing to do with the empty files problem.
I second Hareesh Gampa that you first should try "temporary file creation". You might also need to tell the FTP owner that he should only pick up files with that are written completely and that do comply with a negotiated file name schema. The temp file should have another schema of course then. He should not pick up just every file that is written. See here for details

In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:

Extra files in Inbox.mbox

Every year in January I move all the emails from the previous year from our Inbox into a subfolder Old In:Old In 200x. This year, Mail got into problems trying to move a 78MB email during this moving, and I had to move parts of the year's emails in order to locate the problem email, but finally found it and got the job done, as far as which emails Mail shows in which mailbox.
Today I happened to look in directory ~:Library:Mail:POP/@:INBOX.mbox. (Am I right that this is Mail's Inbox?) There are emails in there with mod dates in 2007, 06, and even 05! When I open them, the email dates agree with the mod dates. These emails don't appear in the Inbox in Mail.
Can I just delete these files in INBOX.mbox? Should I write a program to see that all of them also exist in subfolders of the "Old In" directory, before doing so?
Any advice would be much appreciated!

A .bak file is a backed up file of your original boot sector file. Was WinXP (or Win2K) on your computer when you ran Vista Setup? If so, you probably also still have C:\NTLDR, C:\NTDETECT.COM and C: Boot.ini, too.
These are the WinXP startup files that Vista's BCD (Boot Configuration Data)
will need for you to boot into the "previous version of Windows", if you
choose that option from the dual-boot opening menu of operating systems.
The file C:\BOOTSECT.BAK should be exactly 512 bytes; it is a copy of the
WinXP-style boot sector for the System
i cannot estimate what kind of files those are but would recommend to do a malware scan or use secunia's online scan to plug security holes in your applications which are not upto date or are outdated

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
When you install the new iWork version, the old iWork version is kept, so it looks like you are opening your old version.
To fix this, open a Finder window, choose Applications in the sidebar and drag the new Numbers version to the Dock, so you can access to it quickly. Open all documents from this version. I don't recommend you to delete the old Numbers version in case you need it.
