Try to export as webpage/ html but page is empty

I try to export my photos from iPhoto and choose the option "webpage". It creates the index and the html files, but when clicking on it, I get an empty safari page. It kind of looks like an empty Google page as it has the search box - in the left bottom corner it says mywebsearch. That's all. How do I get the photos to open. This way I would be able to share them.

How are you exporting? If click the "New Folder" button in the Export panel, you should get a folder with four items: index.html, and folders Images, Pages, Thumbnails.
Are the "Images" folder and the "Thumbnails" folder missing in your case or empty?

I exported my bookmarks to do a clean install, but now my exported file is nothing but pages of text. How can i retrieve my bookmarks?

I backed up my firefox bookmars, and the file that came out of it is no specific file type. Even in the properties, it just says "File type: File".
So now i'm trying to restore my bookmarks, but I can't open that file. If i try opening the file itself with firefox or any other browser for that matter, I get long pages of text. It does contain my bookmarks, but it's really hard to read. What can i do to fix this?

That is a JSON backup.<br />
You need to rename the file and add a .json (lowercase) file extension to make Firefox recognize the file as a JSON backup.

Export file as html xl problem

we try to export an table in a page as html xl page, and the file is generated successfully and preview correctly when we use Fire Fox , but we have a problem when we try to open the page using internet explorer a plank page is appear.
when i view the source of the page it's appear correctly and when i use devloper tools to debug the page it's appears blank.
the original code :

we expect that the head tag contains two comments tags and the Internet browser read them errorly
the Two comment tags are :

and the XML tags between them isn't a commented code so,
any one have any solutions about this problem.

This must be a bug in "exportCollectionActionListener" as "excelHTML"
when generating the html, in the <HEAD> part it writes an extra character :

this should be removed as it produces malformed html which will never be viewed in IE.
Would any one help with away to fix the generating process of this component?

Manual backup of bookmark json file is empty, export of bookmark html file "self-deletes"

I'm now using Firefox 17.0.11esr in Win 7 at work and 26.0 in Win XP at home. I tried 24.2.0esr at work, but had to return to the earlier version, because of this problem below, which also happens with my home machine:
I cannot save, manually or automatically, a usable bookmarks json file for use as a backup. The files are always empty.
When I try to export a bookmarks html file, it begins to create and save it, but then "self-deletes" it before it's done.
Why is this a problem with 24.2.0esr and 26.0, but not 17.0.11esr? What can I do about it?

You can try to create a new profile and keep both profiles open at the same time.<br />
You can do that by starting the second instance with the -no-remote command line switch (see further down).
Then you can do a copy and paste of the bookmarks in the Bookmarks Manager (Library) from the current profile to the Library of the new profile to create a new places.sqlite database file.<br />
If that works then you can copy this places.sqlite file to your current profile folder.<br />
You will lose the history, but it is possible to copy history items to a bookmarks folder in the new profile.

Please Help! InCopy crashes when I try to export...

InCopy crashes when I try to export to PDF. The file I'm working in was originally an InDesign CS3 file that was converted to InDesign CS4 when we upgraded our software. We've run into some BIG PROBLEMS with CS4, and so we've exported our CS4 InDesign files as CS3 .INX files so we can work on them in InDesign CS3.
I've isolated that the problem is only when I try to export pages that have a large ad that goes through the gutter of the newspaper spread. All other pages PDF fine from InCopy CS3.
I opened an old CS3 file (that was never converted to CS4), and double checked that I can still export the whole file to PDF including the pages that have ads going through the gutter.
Is this a bug with CS4 files? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix the problem? NOTE: I already tried splitting the box for the ad into 2 separate boxes (one on each page), but InCopy still crashes when I try to export either one of the pages that has content through the gutter.

Try to export iphoto library to external hard drive

I try to my hard drive is getting full. I try to export my iphoto library but i made a mistake. when i open i photo none of the thumbtab shows up. I would have to go into the library folder to get the picture. I have not delete the orginal photos from the mac hard drive. (iphoto6)

I moved my iPhoto library to an external disk without any problem.
I copied the iPhoto Library to the external disk. Then I started iPhoto with the Option key depressed and pointed iPhoto at the Library on the external disk. Once I was sure iPhoto was working with the Library on the external disk and only then did I delete the original Library.

Encryption wouldn't matter except for Wifi.
While 10.2 might help, there's not much you can do on the Internet these days with less than 10.4.11

The file format used by the iOS versions of the iWork apps can only be read by the new iWork apps on your Mac - i.e. Keynote 6, Pages 5 & Numbers 3. Those versions for the Mac require Mavericks, OS X 10.9. The "too old" error on a Mac comes if you are trying to open an iWork '08 or earlier file in the newest apps. If you do have the newest apps you can open the files from your iPad.
If you can't or don't want to upgrade to Mavericks & the newest iWork apps your best option would be to export/share the files from the iPad to a type an older version of iWork can read such as Word, text, Excel, etc.
Or contact AppleCare. They made this mess, let them fix it.

Muse crashes every time I try to export to HTML

I have taken a long time to design and develop a huge site in adobe Muse and now im encountering a rather worrisome problem. When I try to export the site to HTML into a folder on my computer to test it out, it crashes every time with a dialogbox that says "adobe muse has stopped working"
I originally thought this was due to missing assets or incorrectly sized assets but after fixing all that it still continues to crash.
has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it?

I am interested in dual booting to Linux. However I need to export my bookmarks. I've always been able to export my bookmarks to an html but now you say I Can't because I'm not the administrator?! I am the only user and run as administrator. This doesn't make sense.

Hi,
If Safari has just crashed, press the Report button on the CrashReporter dialog box to view the crash information.
Now copy/paste the entire contents of the Crash Reporter window into your reply here. If the crash report dialog does not appear or the crash is hard to reproduce, crash logs can be retrieved from the ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter> folder.
Post a crash report so we can try and help you. Make sure and include the "binary images" section.

In Dreamweaver I import a .swf from flash, it previews fine but when I try to export it to a browser I get nothing....Any ideas on what I could be missing?

Try quitting Pages and then reset your iPad.
Double click the Home button to show the screen with running and recently used apps. Each app icon will have a sample page above it. Flick up on the page (not the app icon) and the page will fly away and the app icon will disappear. This quits that app.
Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.
