Just installed latest version of Adobe Reader on new desk top with Windows 7. Most PDF files allow conversion to Word. Some do not allow conversion, only allows Adobe Reader XI, but I get "Adobe Reader has stopped working" message. Downloaded latest XI security update. Still get the error message that i has stopped working.

When I try to open an episode in Photoshop CS5 Feature Tour () http://tv.adobe.com/watch/photoshop-cs5-feature-tour/terry-whites-favorite-things-about-cs 5-design-premium/) an AIR error message pops up saying:
Something went wrong trying to install this application. Please install the latest version of Adobe AIR from http://www.adobe.com/go/getair and then try again.
I have downloaded the program from that site, uninstalled AIR and reinstalled the downloaded version to no avail. It just keeps popping up. I click OK on the pop-up error message and the video plays just fine. But it is an annoying pop-up that just won't go away.
What gives.

I installed the latest version of adobe reader and I put my flash drive in my pc and it tells me can't read file because it was sent as email attachment and wasn't properly decoded
I tried this flash drive on another computer and it works fine. I even tried to uninstall and reinstall checked for updates and no updates were available

No iPod connected after I try to install latest version

Help! Two weeks ago I tried to update iTunes to the latest version (which I always do) and it didn't work. Ever since then iTunes is showing that my iPod is not connected. The computer says it is, but not itunes. I have done all of the troubleshooting and it looks like the only way is to delete iTunes and re-install it. If I do this, I will lose all of my organization of songs. Plus on my iPod it is telling me not to disconnect. It has been like that for a while. I have disconnected it while it says that because it doesn't stop saying that!

Trying to Install latest version of Adobe with no luck

I just purchased a new iMac running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2. When I go to the adobe site to check my version of adobe it says I have 9.0.124.0. I follow the instructions for dowloading and running the uninstaller and I get a notice that the uninstall was successful. I reboot then return to the adobe page to see if the unisnstall was successful but the old 9.0.124.0 is still there. Any ideas why I can't install the latest player?

Adobe is a company name, not a product. Do you mean Flash Player? Or Shockwave Player?

The problem is indicated by this line:

Based on the error message above, it would appear the app's published since the latest version with a different/newer signature and did not migrate the older signature when creating the install. Adobe AIR will complain as above when that happens.
The easiest solution I believe is to uninstall the current version of the application and then install this new version. If there is no previous installation found then I would see if memecrusher can be found in the Programs folder where you can manually remove it from your machine first. I'm not familiar with the application so have no idea if uninstalling will cause you to lose data from the application. You may want to check that first.

When I try to instal latest version of iTunes onto my computer I get error messages, and then the only way for me to access iTunes is to do a System Restore to and earlier restore point

When I try to install the latest version of iTunes, during the installation I get error messages saying that a program is trying to change registry and the installation is stopped.
After this happens the only way that I can open iTunes is to do a 'system restore' to an earlier time.

Could you please post the exact text of the error message or provide a screenshot?
There is advice on issues with the update at Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates. One of the entries in the further information section refers to a possible registry permissions problem which might be what you are seeing.

I tried to install an update for adobe air 11 yesterday, at the end of the process I got the message "An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator."
After I click close, Windows Program Compatability Assistant opens saying "This program might not have installed correctly" and offers to "Reinstall using recommended settings".
When I click on "Reinstall using recommended settings", the same message comes up about the error and contact the administrator.
I use Google chrome and FileHippo update checker, I have also uninstalled the version of adobe air that was on my computer in the hope I could install the current version but unfortunately the error message is all I get.
If you need any further information I will be happy to help, although I have forgotten how to do a screenshot.

A reply to myself! Thanks to Adobe support I needed to update the Adobe Applications Manager to the Creative Cloud App which so far appears to have fixed the problem

I am trying to install the latest version of flash into my Windows 7 OS but when I hit install I get a message saying that the file sliptr.dll is missing. I thought it might have been CCleaner causing problems with registry cleanup but I have re-installed my reg backup. I have found one person asking for help in Win forums but without result.
