i have a redemption code for a digital copy of a movie. i follow all the instructions and it takes me to itunes. I enter the code and click redeem. then itunes asks me to login (even though I already am). I login with my accurate id and password, and without getting an error message, the page refreshes and asks me to login. this loop continues. help!

Login once and when the dialog come up again just 'cancel'. You should find that you are indeed logged in.
I get this all the time and just ignore the repeated requestes to login with no problem.

Meaning enter your username and password?
Are you signed in - Settings>Store>Sign In? Maybe try in the App Store in the bottom left corner - you can access your ID in the featured tab of the App Store - check there.
If you are signed in correctly - try signing out and then sign in again in order to refresh the account information.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in. Then try to redeem the card again.

Hello i can't use any apps on my iPhone and it keeps asking me to log on to iTunes anyone else having this problem

since this afternoon i can't use any of my apps on my iPhone it keeps asking me to log onto iTunes so i log on to iTunes and it just sends me straight back to log onto iTunes so tried to log onto iTunes on my mac and i have error code -50 anyone else had this issue

Why does Digital Editions KEEP asking me to copy a book to the Library when I exit? It's driving me crazy!

Every single time I close Digital Edition, it asks to copy the book to the Library. I don't want to, so I click the "Don't show this again" and click close.
Seems that you can only get rid of this dialog by copying EVERYTHING opened to the library.
Please fix this bug/bad design!

I was given a $50 gift card. I redeemed it and now I went to the iTunes store to add my songs. What button do I enter to have the song downloaded to my iPod? When I hit the price-it goes to my cc screen. I do not want to put this on my cc-but use my credit balance? Thanks for your help....

It is asking me for my iTunes password too often.
I would be okay with it _if it was just for when I hit UPDATE for an application, or buy a new one_... but it seems like it's constantly asking for my iTunes password.
+I'm not worried about somebody ringing up a bill, If my phone is lost, I can just call Apple and have them remote wipe the phone and adjust my account.+

I just ran into this problem today... on Windows, I had to manually launch the MediaManagerII.exe from the DVDROM / MediaManager folder on the disc. I entered the provided code and then it gave me a different code from which to use in iTunes. It worked after that! On a Mac, you just need to launch the Fox Digital Copy.app if it doesn't launch automatically. Let me know if you have any questions!

Redeemed digital copy and it's downloading slow

I purchased The Hunger Games and redeemed the digital copy, but when i went to download it itunes says it'll take 15k+ hours! HELP (btw the hours remaining continues to rise as I type this....heres a screen cap

Error when entering serial number to redeem digital copy.

I recieved an error when entering the serial number for my digital copy of Juno and have been unable to download the digital copy into itunes.
However I have since recieved a reciept from apple for the "purchase". Can the serial number be "unclaimed" so I can reenter and redownload the the file. Or will "check for purchases" simply restart the download if I have the Juno disk in the drive.

The error was "Unable to connect to iTunes Music store .....". Which was not the case since I could quite happily move round the rest of the store.
I haven't attempted "checking for purchases", since I just thought of it whilst writing the original post, and I am not at my home PC.
But thanks for the sarcastic response anyway . I was hoping someone who had had a similar problem to me would be able to say. "Yep check for purchase will restart download process" or otherwise say nope , you've got to call apple. Hence the original question.

Try this:
With Safari open type command + option + E - all three keys together.
Next go to Safari in the menu bar, and select Reset Safari,

Word and Excel 2010 keep asking me to log into SharePoint.

I had Office 2010 beta running on Windows 7. At one point, I opened a file from a SharePoint site by mistake. I got the Beta to stop asking me about logging
into this SharePoint site.
Last week, I un-installed the beta and installed the released version of Office 2010.
Now, when I have any documents opened in either Word or Excel, I am being asked to log into the old SharePoint site - every 5 minutes.
The only place I have been able to find anything related to SharePoint is under Outlook, file, info, account settings. The old site was listed under SharePoint
lists - I deleted that. There was also a Data File that had the SharePoint site as the location - I deleted that.
Word and Excel are still asking me to authenticate to the SharePoint site - I don't use any SharePoint sites.
HOW DO I MAKE IT STOP?

From your description, I understand that you had Office 2010 beta and opened a file from a
SharePoint site by mistake. Then you set Office 2010 beta stop asking for log in in this SharePoint site. Now you installed the RTM version of Office 2010. However, when you open any documents in Word or Excel, you are asked to log in the old SharePoint site.
If there is any misunderstanding, please feel free to let me know.
If SharePoint Shared Workspace is enabled in Word or Excel, this may prompt users with a Windows login if users do not have permissions to access or create a Shared
Workspace. We can do the following steps to turn this off:

Click
Files > Options > Advanced
3.
Under
General, click Service Option.
4.
Click
Shared Workspace.
5.
Uncheck box that says
“The document is part of a Workspace or SharePoint Site.”

Click
OK to save the settings.

I changed my apple ID and it reset properly on all apps/software but the only thing it is not working with is Imessage. when i turn off imessage and turn it back on it asks me to log into my old apple ID, I have tried changing the password and adding the new apple ID but it is not working

You logged out of your old Apple ID with iMessage at Settings > Messages > Send & Receive followed by logging in there with your new Apple ID?

Trying to redeem digital copy.

I am trying to redeem a digital cope from HBO. After I entered the code and pasword for Itunes I get an error.
The code is in red and below it states that sor securing my account id I need to create 3 difference security questions/answers.
download will not start if I cannot get past this error. Anybody has any idea on what to do? Maybe I am doing something wrong.
Help would be greatly appreciated. Rose

ITunes Store keeps asking me to Log In

After creating my Apple ID, I went to write a review for my favorite podcast. However, when I clicked +write a review+, it prompted me to sign in, even though I already was. I did so, but the message box came right back up. Every single time I try to log in, the message box keeps coming back.
I went into my Apple Account information, to review everything. I went to set up a nickname thinking that might be the problem. Once again, iTunes prompted me to sign in so I can create my nickname. And once again, every single time I do, the box keeps coming back prompting me to do the same.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?

I have a similar problem. I Tunes is advising me to activate my PC for loading my earlyer bought videos and Programms on my I Pod Touch. But my PC (Vista) is still loocked in. If I do it again I Tunes tells me that my PC is allready locked in and I have 3 open PC´s left for activating.
When I try then again to syncronize my videos and programms I Tunes again tells me that I have to activate my PC....
The first PC I activated together with my I pod was my old one. This PC died totaly and I was not able to dissconnect it from I Tunes before the harddrive colapses. What can I do to dissconnect this PC and how can I upload MY BOUGHT Programms and Videos to my I POD...

I've installed Mavericks on my Macbook Air and it keeps asking me to log in - not a mail or keychain problem - actual OS log in.

I've installed Mavericks on my Macbook Air. Every twenty minutes or so I get the log in screen and have to type in my computer password again.
I don't think this is a keychain or mail problem - just the computer login.
